I'm 14 and I started my period like 3 years ago. I thought that when you started your boobs grew faster and stuff. But mine havn't grown that much. Like I still have cleavage with a push-up bra but I thought I'd be bigger by now. My moms' are really big so she told me, mine would be too. So is there a reason why this is happening? Is it normal? Thanks for your help in advance!
You are only 14 though. You have plenty of time to finish developing. My breasts grew quite a bit larger between 14 and 18 and yours probably will too. Just give it some time. [ Vanity's advice column | Ask Vanity A Question ]

Some people take longer to grow. Realistically *sp?* You could be as "heavy-chested" as your mom or you may not be. My has always had a big chest, but I didn't get it so much...I got the hips and the, *ahem* bottom. Don't worry about your shape, love. You're not done growing.

She is always telling me how ashamed she should and she brings herself down I think it's normal you have nothing to worry about afterall you are still 14 and as you grow older you can be a late developer besides that hey be happy with what you have look at yourself and you're beautiful just because you're not as developed as others doesn't mean that thier any different than you it's normal. Don't worry about.best of luck. [ destiny1's advice column | Ask destiny1 A Question ]
thesecondwavex answered Monday February 27 2006, 5:10 pm: it's normal to wonder about these things, but you have to realise you're not fully grown yet, theres still plenty of time for your boobs to grow. just wait it out
however, you may just have the recessive gene for small breasts, but dont worry about it, many beautiful actresses have small breasts, and are completely fine with it. you should be too =]] [ thesecondwavex's advice column | Ask thesecondwavex A Question ]

Plus your period doesn't make your boobs bigger. you'll boobs will get bigger over time don't worry about it. You still have more years for them to grow. alisonmarie answered Monday February 27 2006, 10:28 am: Getting your period doesn't automatically make your breasts grow faster - normally, getting boobs, pubic hair, etc is a sign that your period is about to come.
Your body will continue to develop for about the next four years, so chances are your breasts won't be the same at 18 as they are at 14.
However, your mother having large breasts isn't a guarantee of your own boob size - every body is different and it's impossible to predict what size you'll be when you finish growing. Only time will tell. [ alisonmarie's advice column | Ask alisonmarie A Question ]
LadyGoodman answered Sunday February 26 2006, 11:23 pm: You're only 14, so you still have some growing to do. Different people have growth spurts at different times. I know it sucks to hear, but just because your mom has big boobs doesn't always mean that you will, or vice versa. My mom had tiny boobs and yet mine are a relatively good size. Lots of complicated genetics come into play from both sides. Your body is just moving at its own rate. Your boobs might not get that much bigger, but they also have a good chance of doing so (I know a girl who jumped 2 cup sizes her junior or senior year), so don't lose hope yet!
