Wow.. when I was going into high school I was like that too. And now I'm just like "wow why was I like that?"
Just remember.. everyone else is nervous too (whether they show it or not)... you'll be fine. People arent any different in high school. The only difference is most people are more mature then in middle school. (which is a good thing) because they wont point out little stupid things like they used to.

As long as your nice and be yourself you'll find the perfect group of friends. TRUST ME on this.

*luck*

Hey there, I'm pretty much in the same situation as you. I just keep saying that even if its totally nerve wracking at least its a new experience. I'm even in honors classes with older people and that freaked me out, but I just kept saying its a time for new things. So, I really hope I helped. If you rate me low thats ok because I didn't really give that great of advice. I just wanted to tell you that theres alot of people in your situation right now. I say live in the moment. It'll pass. :)

Well, I would love to help but eveyrone has different opinions, some people think its scary, exciting, nerve racking, fun, depressing, sad, happy .. and all sorts of things. It just depends on what you make of it, and thats how it will go. Just embrace it, dont be scared. Have fun, its the best years of your life =)!

Calm down, kiddo. I'm going into my Senior year, I can help you. It's not that bad. You just have to be calm about. It's normal to be nervous, it's ok. Depending on how big your high school is, you may need help finding some classes...just go to the office, some kids can be jerks. It will be hectic and a lot of kids will be immature about it (and continue to be immature even after high school), but you just have to handle it all in stride.
The nervouseness will pass in all due time. Just don't appear nervous, thats all.
Good Luck on your first day of school.

Victoria

Don't be nervous cause high school is way better, fun and easier than middle school. Everything may seem scary at first but it won't be that bad. Mostly on the first day all of the teachers explain the rules, expectations, homework, tests and grades in the class. So my advice to you is just to relax and don't worry. ♥ Peachgirly

The first day is basically orientation. They have all the incoming freshmen together on the first day and bring you to your classes and answer all your questions. Then the next day is a little harder because you have to try to make it to your classes on time with the rushes of people, but its okay. The teachers are really lenient with freshmen because they know its a lot of new stuff and maybe hard to handle for a little bit. Theres really nothing to worry about. After the first week of high school, its a breeze. Enjoy it!! IT GOES FAST!

you'll think highschool is tough, but it isn't really all that hard. the only problem with highschol is that you'll have to carry around alot of books and homeworks.

I was a freshman before I know what's it like
Just have confidence in yourself don't worry. You'll see a lot of people in the hallway looking at their program card they'll be so focused on it because they will be looking for their classrooms. Just sit in your seat and relax even I was nervous. At the first week start a conversation of how they see the school and make friends. Observe the teacher if you get too nervous try to sit in the back where it feels more comfortable. If you have trouble finding your class ask someone to help you. You'll be full of papers to be signed by your parent and a lot of traveling you'll get used to it.School could be a fun place if you have friends.Good Luck on your first day!

Hey relax. First day is going to be the same for everyone in your grade: something new. Theres going to be loads of kids who will be more nervous than you...everyone always is. Don't give it too much thought, you'll be fine. Yeah things will probably seem real different, being in a bigger building, too many people you don't know, everything new, etc. My first day I knew two kids. By the end of the year I knew almost all 400 in my grade. So just try to have fun and good luck.

I'm not exactly sure, being in junior high still, but one can only assume that it would be like the first day of junior high or middle school. Try not to worry so much!

Hope I helped!

It'll be scary. You'll be nervous, after all. Things will smell odd. But you won't get much homework, if any, and your classes won't involve a lot of work the first day.

Apart from that, all I can do is suggest that you try hard to relax. This is just ONE DAY out of a lifetime of days, and you'll be surprised how soon you forget all about it. Or if you don't, you'll laugh at the thought that you were actually worried.

There will be MUCH bigger things to get nervous about, later on. But there will be some great things, too.

The secret is to have more great things than scary things in your life. And try not to worry unnecessarily.
