Why is it that all the questions on here are about relationship problems? Don't people realize theres more to life then the opposite sex?

I was wondering what everyones take on college is? I think I'm going to look for an all girls college. Are there many around? Does anyone know of any good ones? If there are boys around I will get distracted and won't do my work. I can wait for a boy, I dont need one when I'm in college. I want to get great grades and do all my work constantly.
Also, do you think this will effect how I view my college experience? Part of the actual experience is dorm life, parties, etc. Do you think I will regret choosing an all girls school when I'm rolling in money because I stuck to my studies?
Are you serious? Just because I'm around females a lot at an all girl's school does NOT mean I'd be a "dike". Are people really this ridiculously stupid? Everyone elses answers, though. Great =]

yeah I think you're safe. If I knew what you were being blood tested for I'd know that 100% for sure instead of 99%. Yeah, they test for the components of weed if they're looking for it.
hey, i was wondering if weed will show up in a blood test. I'm probably going to have one for something completely un-related to drugs. i mean like, they aren't looking for weed or anything. So, i guess i'm wondering if it will show up at all and if they have to be specifically looking for it to find it. How long does it stay in your system? I've heard 38 days, but i've only smoked twice (yesterday and three days ago) and i didn't smoke very much at all. Between both days, i probably didn't even have a bowl. Thanks
Weed stays in your system for like... two weeks. But if you're getting a medical blood test they probably wont test it for pot. Theres no way to get pot out of your blood, though. It does show up in a blood test... but in blood, im not sure for how long. I really just came to tell you they 99% will NOT test it for Pot, or else they would've found pot in my blood when I was in the ER and had just smoked THAT day. lol.

Get what you feel is cute. Chances are, if you buy a purse that you think is cute - someone else will, and they'll find a purse close to that. Then someone else will like that purse, and buy another close to that. Thats how purses become "in". Just get whatever you feel is cute. =]
My mother just recently died from lung cancer. She was just diagnosed on Sept. 15th of this year and she passed away on October 28th, 2005.
My boyfriend of several years had already told his spoiled rotten, self-centered, selfish daughter that she could have a Halloween party before the incident with my mother came up.
Instead of being here, supporting me, helping me make the needed arrangements and just being a shoulder to lean on, he decided it was more important to help out with his daughter's Halloween party, because everybody knows "Courtney" comes first....no matter what!

His daughter should come first in his life... BUT. A halloween party crosses the line. Halloween is NOT important. NOT AT ALL. Your mother is important. And I think that he was ridiculously wrong. Tell him that you're upse that a halloween party came first, as thats trivial. If he doesnt understand that, then you should drop him. That's really disrespectful and hurtful to pick a halloween party over supporting you.
i like this guy, hes 17, and he has a gf. i was hanging out with my friends yesterday and he was there, i new him from lik 3 years a go because i tired to get the hook up with him, but he ended up going out with my best friend, and that was totally kool wit me. and now 3 years lata i see him. and i didnt reconize him. but then i relized it was him and me and him were ahngin out. well him and his 2 friends had to leave, and he asked if i woudl walk him out to his car so i was lik yea. i did and we walked up the street a lil, and he asked for my number i gave it too him and he said that him and his friends made a bet that he couldnt kiss a girl tonight, so he asked for a kiss and i gave him a kiss, and we made out a lil, not people are saying im a slut because i made out with a guy that i liked but i wasnt goin out with him, and they said it was stupid of me because i new it was a bet, well i new it was a bet and i dont really mind bcuz it was a win win situation, i got a kiss and he won the bet i dont understand the big deal is. y would ppl call me a slut ad stuff just because i kissed him? wats the big deal?
Its not a big deal to kiss someone if you're not dating them. People do that all the time. You're not a slut for that. Ignore what people say.
BUT... it is highly disrespectful that you kissed him knowing he had a girlfriend. That makes you look bad.
I have a sore on my labia. My mom just asked me if I was sexually active, I said no. This is a lie, although I have never had sex, I have had oral sex and been fingered.. I'm so scared I might have an std. My mom is making me an appointment with the gyno. I'm 16 years old and I have a boyfriend I've been with for 4 months. I havn't really been the one to have a whole lot of girls as friends and the ones I've had my mom always has a problem with and in the end I'm not allowed to hang out with them. So lately its just been me and my boyfriend, which isn't bad. But I've been thinking about when I go away to college or later on in life, will I look back on this time period of my life and regret not bieng so social? My parents have been together since highschool and they are happy, but I'm not them. I just don't want to have any regrets on highschool or college or anything...
It seems as if your boyfriend IS your best friend. All anyone needs in their life is one good friend. Seems like thats what he is to you. Just live your life the way you want to right now. If having close girl friends is what you want, then by all means - make some new friends. Maybe the girls youre surrounded by right now in high school aren't the type of people you really want to be best friends with. In college, you'll meet a lot of new people and I'm sure you'll find at least one close friend. So dont worry =]
this is more to add on the 2 questions i have bout my ex wantn to be friends..i dont understand what to do. last nite he called and said asked what we were going to do and i said i didnt care well we decide we would figure it oud later so i was getting ready and he txtd me and told me that he didnt want me to come over anymore cuz he had hmwk and it would be to wierd if i came over well i started crying and i calld him and asked him y he told me to come over and then change his mind. he said he didnt want to hurt my feelings by telling me so he did it in a txt. well i was balling b/c it hurt my feelings that he was going to do that and then he said that he would put hes hmwk aside and hang out so i went over there and we went to the college and playd basketball for about an hour or more then went to his house and watchd the texas game. he was falling asleep so i told him to go to bed and i went in his room with him and all my stuff is still on his walls and i tucked him in bed and gave him a hug and kissed his forehead. well i was driven home and i sent him a txt saying that i had a good time and he said he did to. i got home and i sent him another txt saying that i still cared about him and i wished that we could be together well this morning i told him want i wanted outta this relationship and he said sounds good. and i asked him to tell me what he wanted and he sent one back saying that he was doing his hmwk and that he couldnt talk now. i just dont understand him...HELP!
This is where I think you should cut it off and stop telling him your feelings. Obviously he doesnt tell you exactly what he wants or what he feels. Thats not an even relationship (a friendship is a relationship). It's not fair for you to put it all on the line and get nothing back in return. He didnt really want to hang out with you, but didnt want to hurt your feelings. Maybe he doesnt want to be with you but doesnt want to hurt your feelings. I think you should continue the friendship without telling him how you really feel for a while. He may not be sure of what he wants. By telling him what you want you're just opening the door to being hurt.

Circular motions are different than in&out. In and out is when you just move your tongue into his mouth, and then back out into yours. Circular you're pretty much having your tongue in his mouth most of the time and you're moving your tongue in circulation motions around his tongue.

I'm Karlie, and im 13 in 7th grade. I liked this guy since umm what 4th yes 4th grade. He knows i like him but he says he likes me as a friend. It's weird cuz he shows signs that he likes me (stares and acts hopeless and shy). Like he slow danced with me at the dance and he gave me a hug and he asks for a high five like everyday like thats all he can think of doing cuz he's stuck. Do you think he likes me? Since he knows you like him, you should just tell him that you think the two of you should just get to be better friends - and the way to do this is to hang out and get to know each other more in different settings (example: the mall, movies, theme parks). hope i helped =)

Don't tell her - unless you have a plan of action you want her to take. If you'd like for her to get involved in some way, tell her exactly what you want her to do. But if you dont want her involvled at ALL (example: asking him if he likes you) then DO NOT TELL HER until you and he are something.
Okay I'm 13 years old and a female. Yesterday I noticed a small bump on my left breast, near the nipple. It sometimes hurts when I touch it but it also looks somewhat like a pimple. I'm really worried that this could be breast cancer. There is no history in my family of having breast cancer. Do you think it's cancer?

Aw sweetie I dont think its cancer at all. I think its just acne on your breast because you sweat - or maybe its an allergic reaction (sometimes theyre painful). You could try a different body wash, maybe an exfoliating one. Wear clothes that breathe better, or try a new detergent for your clothes! If it doesnt clear up, soon, get it checked with your doctor - just so you can be SURE and you can stop worrying. =] Hope I helped!
ok, i know its really early but i dont want to leave this til last minute...
i don't know what to get my boyfriend for christmas.
backround information: we've been dating for over a year, in december we will have been dating 19 months.
he's getting me a promise ring from james avery...and something else. heard it through the grapevine...and indirectly from him.
we've been through alot together and i want to show him how special he is to me and how much i love him.
we're still in high school so something thats not too hard.
he said all he wants is to spend time with me...so should i plan a day with us just together? and if so...ideas for what we should do? i know it could be a full day because my parents dont really have a problem with him sleeping over at my house....
if i buy him something, what budget should i stay close to? and what should i get?

W0W! I have a whole weekend's worth of an idea for you! =]
Have him come over for dinner one (Friday or Saturday) night. Make sure your parents stay away from the dining table during these few hours you eat. Set up some candles around the room & make a simple dinner. Then, figure out some kinds of foods you guys have eaten on your dates - or candies he likes, or inside jokes between you and have those, too. Strawberries and kiwi (red&green for christmas) as dessert with whipped cream is fantastic. Just cut them up and arrange them on a dish as a christmas tree. Use the kiwi as the tree and the strawberries (and cherries if you'd like) as decorations on the tree.
After dinner, you can watch a Christmas movie on the couch cuddled up with hot chocolate and blankets and pillows.
Then you go to sleep.
The next morning you can make him breakfast in bed. Pancakes, waffles - the whole 9.
For the day, you could try ice skating. If theres snow on the ground, you could go outside and have a snowball fight or build a snowman (play like little kids).
You could also take him shopping, and buy him a new outfit. Boys might act like they dont like shopping - but when its for themselves - they DO like it!
Then go home, and make a picnic lunch and sit in the living room in front of the television and watch another movie while you eat.
Then on christmas you could suprise him with a new silver chain (if he wears that), or maybe tickets to some kind of game he enjoys or concert of a band he likes. =] hope I helped!
What does it mean when someone is "scene"?
A typical scene person in my area could be classified as "emo". They're into that kind of music, and they go to rock shows & dress the part. They're distant from others, and seem to have no actual friends. It varies different according to area, though. Hope I helped!

When its sunny outside, make sure nothing is blocking your window from the sun coming in. If its windy, make sure your window is covered by your shades or blinds so that no drafts come in. Keep your door closed at all times to keep all the heat in. Get a heated blanket. Those are nice. =]
Ok well im moving and we are finally buying a house. My parents said that we could buy 2 dogs a dog that stays small and a larger dog maybe like a retriever or something. well i get to choose what kind of small dog we want and i need some help, any ideas? also any ideas for names?

Cocker Spaniels and Springer Spaniels are REALLY sweet dogs. I had an English Springer until i was 13. She was such a sweetheart. Theyre easy to train, stay rather small, and theyre sweethearts.
ok, i am an 18 year old female and my boyfreind is 22 years old. we live a ways apart (him new york me ohio) because i was forced to move. well, we have been living apart for about a month and a half and we can't take it anymore. but we can't decide wether we should have me move up there with him or have him move down here with me. at first we had sorta planned me going and living with him. but then my mom found out that she might have a tumor on her ovaries, tubes, or liver. She doesnt want me to leave because she needs me and my brother will too. (in situations where there is trouble, my brother looks up to me, if im doing ok he will be fine and he knows that). So my mom asked me to ask him to move here so that we coudl both support her and each other. (my mom likes him) but then i owuld be asking him to uproot his life. from the place he lived for 20 years. from his family and his freinds and everything he knows. so i asked him if he would be WILLING to do so. He told me "Whatever i have to do to be with you". But now i feel like i am being selfish in asking him to do that. did i do the right thing in asking him to move here? please help i will rate all good answers as 5's. any smartass comments dont get rated!
Asking him to come live with YOU, in these circumstances - is not unfair at all. And if he had a problem with it, he would tell you - I'm sure. Set it up so maybe once your mom is fine and healthy again that you can move back to New York with him. Tell him that its probably not a permanent move, and you'd like to go back to NY in the future (if you want to, that is). You're NOT being selfish by asking him to move in with you. You being selfish would be telling your mom "No - I'll go live with him... BYE!" You've made the mature, right, non-selfish decision. Hope I've helped.
