Im the only gothlike dude in town (im not complaining) so Im just curious if you have any weird experience with goth people (mostly in the US). Weird question I know but thats my style :)

Dude, goths ARE weird. It'd be weird not to have a weird experience with a goth. xD But I digress.
To my perception, the thing usually weird about goths is that they simply don't fit into the prepared stereotype people make of them. Most goths worthy of the name don't constrict themselves into black clothes and emotionless faces. That's like the people out there trying to look like Beyonce. Goth is about expression, and many of my community are just wildly dramatic people with unbelievably colourful personalities.

Theres this new gothic girl that goes to my school, and im a really nice person so i'll try and be nice to her and start a convorsation whenever i can. Thats just how i am.. we were in spanish class one day, and we had a substitute so everyone sat wherever they wanted (we usually have assigned seats) and she happened to be sitting near me and my friend leanna.. so i was telling leanna about some crazy ass dream i had the other night.. && all of a sudden the goth girl goes "have you ever had a dream where your eyes are slit open?" so i said "um nope can't say i have" && she went into full detail about it. It was crazyy .. and then later on in that class she was telling us dead baby jokes.. that wheren't funny in any way..
so yeah.. i hope that was weird enough for you

yea. it really bothers me when little goth people go around "im gothic, im gothic!" big fucking deal. if you go around saying that, then you probably aren't, labels are so overrated.

Last year when I was at school a girl who was labeled by others a "goth" who was also a cutter shared with me that she hated herself and wished a lot of hateful things upon herself.
Anyone that would say the things she said about herself needs serious help. So I tried to help her out and today we are good friends.

I wouldn't say I'm really goth...I don't like lables too much and just wear and act in a way that makes me happy and expresses how I feel. But, I do wear a lot of Tripp and Lip Service and Sourpuss....See, I'm brown, so some people are shocked, like "What the hell?!" and, I don't really care. Some peopel are douche bags when it comes to the whole lable thing. I mean, people criticize people all the time. There is, like no way around it. People hate what they can't understand and fear what they can't conquer. So, if people are giving you guff, well...they should try to get to know you, unless you come off as stand-offish. Then maybe, you should open up a little more.
