Ok First off, the whole 'bff' thing doesn't work as you get older. you should just have a big group of close friends-it's so much better. If it's fine with you that she doesn't want to be bff anymore then don't worry, she still wants to be friends and thats all that matters. As for beating around the bush (yeah its bush not bust)don't worry about that either, just see what happens. Try and get to see her when you can once you go to your new school but don't go out of your way to do it, you'll make new friends, she'll make new friends, that's the way it goes sometimes. well if i were you, i'd invite them both to come to town shopping or whatever with you and try and make them remember how they used to have fun with you. don't do anything stupid, just act normal and friendly towards them. call them up and hang around them at school and soon you should be friends with them again. at the same time try and make other friends so as you'll have something to fall back on if all else fails.
