Amyhart512 answered Sunday June 20 2004, 3:09 pm: Yes you can. Some people say that you can't get pregnant the first time you have sex, that is a lie. You should ALWAYS use birth control unless you plan on having a child. [ Amyhart512's advice column | Ask Amyhart512 A Question ]
Here-To-Help answered Sunday June 20 2004, 1:06 pm: Um...all of those things you just said are usually HOW people get pregnant so uh...yes. You can get pregnant from that. There's ALWAYS a chance of getting pregnant when you have sex whether there's a condomn or not...you never know what kind of complications there could be. FernGully answered Sunday June 20 2004, 12:19 pm: Yes you sure can. You can ovulate at the same time as you get your period, which means you'd have an egg there ripe for the impregnating. You could also get some lovely diseases as a token present too.
"Although it is very unlikely that you could become pregnant during your period, some women do ovulate when they are bleeding (which may not actually be a menstrual period), so it is remotely possible.
If you have a consistent menstrual cycle, with several days of bleeding every 27 to 31 days, you probably can't get pregnant during your period. However, if your cycle is irregular, you may mistake some bleeding for a period; if this is the case, you should consider yourself fertile at any time during your cycle. If your period lasts more than a week, you could possibly become pregnant if you engage in sexual intercourse toward the end of your period."
