You just tell them. There is no sense in waiting because you really need prenatal care. It is especially important because you are so young.

The guy usually pays for the date unless they are just friends. If you are low on funds though she might pay her own way. She may not consider that a "date" though. Maybe dad could lend you some, hes probably been there himself. :)

I don't know what to do about this guy... at the beginning of the summer i found out he liked me and the more i thought about it the more i liked him back, well i jacked up really bad cuz i accidentally misworded a quote he had told the person that told him so ever since then he thought i said no, but i didn't, he was just so mad at the peron that told me that he didn't give me a chance to say yes... well he hasn't talked to me since then and it's really depressing, not only cuz he won't talk to me but because he won't talk to the person that tole me either and he get's POed at anyone who brings it up from what i've been told... i don't know what to do, if anyone can help i'll rate high.

I'm i'm a 14 year old girl, (15 at the end of september) i'm 5' 9 1/2" tall and i weigh 145 lbs. Now, i know i'm not unhealthy or anything... i mean i'm certainly not obese, but what's the best way to lose weight? i don't want to be anorexic or bulemic or anything (ew) i just want to slim down and tone muscle. I want to be slim, but not disgustingly skinny. I think i eat too much junk food but i love the sugar lol. Are fruits a better subsitute for cookies and ice cream? Also, i want to have defined curves. ( i dunno if losing weight makes it tough to have curves or something but meh) but i've got these, i assume, muscles under just below my hip that gives my pelvic region a kind of square-ish look. Somebody said this was because i do sports and i've just built muscle there and it can't be helped. Is that true? And i want my thighs slimmer, too.
o.o sorry that's so long. Any suggestions? Bottom line: how do i get my body to look the way i want?

You need to eat 3 meals a day...watch portion size. To make it a little easier, 1/2 cup of most things is a serving.
Exercise everyday. You do sports...excellent exercise. Keep it up throughout the year even when your sport isn't in season.
You will get curves. Your age has a lot to do with that. Hang in there...and lay off the sugary, good stuff (aww, I know!) Try some of the flavored yogurts (3 a day) they can be really good, and, they even have some chocolate ones now! :)

It would be the best if mom would go with you. If that is just impossible then you do what it takes...just use birth control. A talk with mom can't hurt. Here is a website that might be of some use.:)

I think if you want a baby you need to talk to your husband. It should be something you both agree on it it could cause problems on down the road. The last thing you want is for him to resent a little baby. It would be horrible for both you and the child. Talk and see if you can't get him to agree on having a baby. If he doesn't want one then find out the reasons why. :)

condom packages always say that they are like 99% effective if used correctly and stuff, but in school we learned that since condoms are latex like balloons, they have tiny holes in them that sperm can swim through. wtf. how effictive is that? (link)

Anytime you have unprotected sex, even if you used the piull out method, the chance of being preganant exists.

You have to go to a GYN before you will be perscribed the birth control pill.
You have to go if you ever have children since they are the doctors that help with that.
I suppose of you never have children or get on the pill it isn't 100% necessary if you aren't concerned with cervical cancer and the like.

My boyfriend that I am now going out with (for about a two months)has just told me that he has schizophrenia. I know that if you are a schizophrenic that you are 50% more likely to commit suiside and I know he has thought about it in the past before I knew this condition. He is a really nice guy and I like him a lot. Although right now I'm worried. One because he didn't tell me before and two because I don't know much about schizophrenia or his condition of it. I did a report on it last year in health class so I know WHAT it is but I don't know if even medicine helps much. All I know about his condition with it is that he hears voices even when he takes medication and I also understand it isn't his fault he has it and I should be there for him no matter what. I don't know what to do, I know I really can't do much but what do I do with out relationship? Please help me figure what to do with us and how I can support him if he needs me although I am ALWAYS there for him. (link)
