Question Posted Sunday August 14 2005, 10:07 am

I haven't even had my period for a year and it comes like every two weeks and lasts like 5 days... it sucks! Is this normal?

Thanks!

Many females experience an unstable pattern for 6 months up to two years sometime. If it's fairly new to you, chances are it should be expected. Don't panic - no worries.

Completely normal...your period can take up to 3 years to regulate its flow. However, if it's accompanied by cramps that can't be helped with panikiller, or really bad headaches, talk to your doctor, sometimes they can perscribe birth control to help regulate the flow if they think its abnormal. Hope this helps!
Love,
Nevaeh

Some people dont have regulated periods, when you first get it it takes a while for it to regulate, if this problem persists you might have to go on birth control to begin to regulate it so you dont have it that often.

your either pregnant ( there should be a massive bump ) or your old which means you have stopped having periods because you have stopped producing eggs

Karen answered Sunday August 14 2005, 1:00 pm:
Yes, this is normal. This pattern will eventually change, since your period is irregular for the first few years but it's perfectly normal.

What I fully advice is to go to see your doctor this is bad and not normal. You should get your period every month. But there could be something you didn't do like eat right or something is wrong with your system.Go find out as soon as you can.
