Hair also will grow on your genitals (pubic hair).

MummuM answered Sunday August 14 2005, 10:04 pm: It's alright that you haven't got your period yet, consider yourself lucky. Period's is a big pain in the bum anyways. Females usually start around the same time as their mothers. If you really want to know around what time you're going to start, just ask your mother when she started hers. Some girls start when they're 11, while others only start at 18. Don't worry about it, it'll come. Signs that you might start your period would be; your hips get wider, hair growing under your arms and around your vagina, sweating under your arms, developing acne, thick and whitish or slippery and clear vaginal discharge. FrEe2bMe answered Sunday August 14 2005, 9:51 pm: Hey it's okay that you are that age and have not gotten your period yet. Some girls don't start until there are 17 or 18. The age varies. Some indications that you might be starting in the near future would be that you see some growth or development in your breast, you start getting hair on your pubic region, and/or you begin having or having more than usual discharge. It's no big deal really. We've all been there. Just be patient. Trust me, it's not the greatest thing to look forward to! :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
