My friend got mono a couple of weeks ago and she came to school for the first time since today. She said she's not really supposed to be back-doctors orders- but she wanted to come. But I don't really want to be like near her bc i don't want mono! Can mono go through the air? Obviosly I won't drink after her or anything... what should I do and can someone give me info on mono?

Mono is spread by saliva. You will probably be safe around her.

okay im 13.. i started my period 2 months 3 months ago.. and like they went okay for the 1stand 2nd month i had it.. but this month i havent had my period and i usualy start on the 20th and its the 24th.. and im a virgin just so you kno ..lol .. whats wrong with me?? is this normal?THANKS! (link)

It is very normal. There may be months when you skip it all together.Then you will probably go back to normal periods.
your body is learning to settle into a regular menstrual cycle. In a few months, your body should figure out which cycle is best for you.
That might mean a period every 20 days, 28 days, 34 days, or something in between.
Some girls have irregular periods their whole lives.

16/m.-will rate- we met in a chat room, along with id say about 20 other kids. this was before the summer of 2003 and you know we were mostly from the same general area, east coast, but a few random people from cali n stuff. well anyways we all became pretty good friends, guys and girls all between 8th grade[where I was in at that time] and seniors and somehowI knew there was something different about one of them. well I thought you know: she didn’t notice me, she lives too far, blah blah blah. until I decided to, along with one of the guys there who was older, play a prank on her that id ask her out, and when she said no pretend to wanna kill myself.
at first it was hilarious, but then once I realized I hurt her feelings, I knew somethin was wrong
because I liked her as a friend nothing more, because I really didn’t know but I knew she liked me more than that so she felt terrible and then I felt bad too and I was like: wow I guess I must really care
so I told her everything n she told me everything how we felt n stuff. from then on we were...I guess u culd say closer friends. I asked her out everyday as a joke, n she always sed no and then I actually got serious, so I convinced her to believe me. after like 3 weeks and around august
she came around and sed yes. now ur thinkin, wtf is that, thats beyond insane.
she actually doesn’t live too far and yeah I know, we wer young n had no idea what we wer getting into it wasn’t like you know, something real, just for fun I guess. since then
shes been i guess... my 'gf'. now 2 things
1. she knew what i looked like and were i lived
2. i didnt know where she lived, or what she looked like. even crazier right? We actually met for the first time in person 3 days ago, still cant believe we pulled it off. Well what I wanna know is…would you consider this to be real love or a real relationship, why or why not. thanks

Anything that lasts as long as your relationship is something special.
I think you have a relationship. It may take a little longer for you to decide on weather or not it is love....but I will tell you this. You have a great start.

Things are getting super super stressful what with school and everything else. Its really taking its toll on me emotionally and even physically. Does anybody have any advice on what I can do to relax and calm down, and to help me not get as stressed as usual? (link)

Lets see. Its easier to stop now than it will be 20 years from now. Trust me on this.
They make everything you wear stink. Your hair smells like smoke.

Alright, well I'm going to the doctors tommorrow for it, cuz i alreayd told my mom, but i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what it is before i go..
After i pee, i get like a stinging burning feeling and it feels like i still have to pee but i dont and it hurts.. and just tonight i started peeing blood.. does anyone know what this could be? A bladder infection maybe?

It sounds like a urinary tract infection (UTI). Of course your doctor will tell you for sure.
Once you get some medication for it you'll feel a lot better.

They might also be called used clothes store or second hand stores.
The easiest way to describe it may be an indoor garage sale. The prices are usually pretty cheap and most iof the stuff is in good condition. :)

There are a lot of reasons questions can be deleted.
Check the help/faq for some of them.
If you ask something that could be answered by just looking it up yourself...I know those will sometimes be deleted. Usually you will be given a reason though.

Wasn't to long ago I had a door sized poster of Bruce Springsteen hanging on the garage door. Inside not outside. My kids who were in High school at the time loved it. My husband rolled his eyes but didn't say much. ;)

hey guys.. well pretty soon my friend is having a keg party(drinking) and inviting everyone because her moms going to be out of town that night.. and i want to go but im scared that the cops will come and we all will get busted.. shes done a lot before and never gotten caught by her mom or anything but since its this big of a party im not sure if i should go or not it would be a ton of fun but i dont want to get totally screwed.. so let me know what i should do, thanks... this mornin i woke up and i had a hurt on my side at the bottom of my rib cage. it feels like i bruised it, but i didnt. it also hurts when i turn me upper body. any ideas on what it is or what i shuld do?

If it the side but more towards your back I could guess you pulled something.
I do this all the time. I finally discovered I was turning my upper body but not my lower. I think that is what may cause it.
It will hurt for about a week. It does go away after that. I don't know much you can do for it.
I have cut down on having it ( I think once you get it once it will do it again more easily), by turning my whole body instead of just the upper half.
You should probably go to a doctor and find out for sure. Since I am not one. It does sound familiar though. :)

Hey I'm a guy and have a situation I'm embarrased about. When I'm with my girlfriend, I feel comfortable and myself...except for one part. My body sometimes responds in the wrong way, like it feels like I'm gonna stain my shorts or something. My girlfriend and I have been split up for 3 wks. We went out 4 times this week and its almost like we're together again. She has a $250 digital camara and printer that she gave me for Christmas, she says they're hers. Last night we had a stupid fight in the car and I took the camara from the compartment next to the seat. She tried to snatch it from me, but I took it anyways.
