should i go to the party
hey guys.. well pretty soon my friend is having a keg party(drinking) and inviting everyone because her moms going to be out of town that night.. and i want to go but im scared that the cops will come and we all will get busted.. shes done a lot before and never gotten caught by her mom or anything but since its this big of a party im not sure if i should go or not it would be a ton of fun but i dont want to get totally screwed.. so let me know what i should do, thanks...

to give you an honest opinion, i dont think you should go. just becuase she wasnt caught the last three times, doesnt mean she wont be cought this time! And think about it, do you really want to risk getting drunk and doing something you normally wouldnt do if you were sober, or even worse getting in a car accidnet? How bad would you feel, and how much trouble would you get in if her parents found out- and knew you were there. I doubt your parents would be happy about that, or let you hang out with her or the people there for a whileeee. My advice is to just stay away from the situation; nothing good can come from a party full of drunk teenagers. You should even try to talk your friend out of it if you can, imagine how awful youd feel if people from her party went home drunk and died in a car accidnet when it could of been prevented? parties normally get busted. You wont get into trouble if you arnt drinking or doing any type of drug. If you're there just for the social you're safe. But if you have an ounce of alcohol and is under age you're fucked.

No really, if shes gone this long without getting caught you have to know lucks going to run out.
You know if the party gets busted there will be hell to pay. You'll probably be grounded for who knows how long...it will be awful. Is that really worth a few hours of debauchery?

Well, I wan't to say DON'T GO!! But technically, it's your choice. No matter what I say, you're still going to think about it. You need to decide what is more important to you. Look at the possible outcomes. You can either go to the party & possible get caught by the cops, OR miss the party and stay home, invite some friends over, & have some (safe) fun. If I was in your position, I would definately stay home & have my own "party" with my friends. But again, YOU need to figure out what's most important to YOU =)

I dont think you should go. My guy friend had a party, and the cops came. EVERYONE got in trouble, no matter what !! Please do the right thing !!

Are you 21? If you are not 21 (and by your question and terror of getting busted I would wager you are not) You can go, just don't drink. They can't bust you unless you are doing something wrong.

Well if it were a smaller party like in the past, then I would tell you you should go and have fun, but at big parties with "illegal substances" cops usually show up! I wouldn't risk getting caught...just wait until your friend has a smaller party. Well I hope that helped and whatever you decide to do..good luck! ♥ caitie

Usually cops wont nail every single kid at the party. If they come they will usually just tell you to break it up and go home..and then they will talk to the house owner.
Or if the cops come just hide..haha.

If you get drunk and trip or something, it will realy do major harm or death. If you do go dont drink and bring a phone incase of an emergancy.
I learned that people who are lightwieght get affected the most and so do people who hardly ever drinks.
Just becuase tthe party is fun it doesent mean it will be fun the next day. you will get hang overs .
if you dont drink and your there people can be pretty scary when theire drunk.if you do drink
you mightdo something you'll regret like sex.
because its a party the neighbors will most likely call the cops, especialy when the party is filled with drunks.

If everyone knows about it, you might get caught. Just because she never got caught before doesn't mean that she can't. Even if you go to the party but weren't drinking, you can still get in trouble.

I totally understand where you're coming from but this is the time when you want to really have fun. If she's a close friend, then why don't you help her plan it out. They key to not getting a party busted is not having the music or people too loud. You can't always control the people but don;t blast music and don't invite people you know will go buck wild and threaten the party. Otherwise, just try to have fun but keep yourself conscious so you can enjoy the festivities! lol...have fun :)

i don't think you should go. i know a few people in my school that went to a party at a guy's house w/ alcohol & it there was a lot of people. the cops actually came to the house & they arrested all of them even if it is someone's house. they got into a lot of trouble & have to go to classes now & pay a fine & everything. plus drinking is a horrible habit so you should try to not get into it. it'll be better that way.
