Guy friend treats me like a little kid, how do I stop it?

I know this older guy and he's hit on me before but he also treats me like as if i'm his little sister or something. At first I thought he was a gentleman (he would walk me back to my place even if it was far away just because he wanted to make sure I was safe) but then it started to get kinda crazy. I live downtown in a big city, and now he wants me not to go out unless I'm with somebody. I understand his worry, but it was noon in bright daylight on one of the busiest streets in the city. He also lectures me if i lie to my parents or anything like that and i kinda get the feeling that he thinks it would be better if i just stayed home and never go out because when I do stay home he tells me that he thinks it's good for me not to go...

I've known this girl (Kylie) since I was a kid. She's nice and we're pretty close and I would have said we were best friends until a few days ago. The other day we were talking to our other group of friends about being best friends and asking who was their best friend in the group. I know, odd discussion probably. Anyways, Kylie says she use to be bestfriends with this other girl from another school but isn't any more because she went around her school bragging to people that she fingered Kylie when they had sleepovers. Kylie is like, "That's what best friends do though! OMG!" and went on about how the other girl was being cold and cruel and how it totally made her not want to be friends with the girl anymore.

i had 4 guy bff. but three of them hate me for no reason. and so one of my friends is realy cool hes still my bff. but anyway i love him like a brother we have laughs together like sayin he looks like justin bieber did when he was younger. and when hes hurt i help him. but we fight but then i want him to be my bff again because boys are usually better friend then girls. right. because they dont gossip. so is it true boys are better friends than girls and were we ment to be friends

I have a friend who likes me and tries to hook up with me but he has a gf (which he never even told me about, I had to find out from my friend) He's always flirting and tryin to do stuff with me and I really like him but I don't wanna mess around with him cuz he has a gf. I confronted him about it and he got mad but got over it. He still does it flirts with me and it's starting to get annoying. I don't want him to get mad at me again but I feel bad cause he has a gf. what do u think I should do? How do I hang out with people

So I'm new to a town and theres absolutely nothing to do at my house. I can only watch tv, or go on the computer. I don't have any tv/computer games.. I don't have a pool, I don't have any crafts.. my computer doesn't have webcam, and I don't have any other cool things to be able to entertain someone else.
So in my life I've rarely ever invited people to my house cause I have no idea what to do! I feel awkward at the idea of being a host.. but I have great time at other people's houses. How can I learn to be better at just hanging out with people? I'm very sociable but I don't have a lot of experience like going to friends houses or anything.. which makes me socially inept. it sucks cause when I look back I dont have experien...

I came to a point in my life where I just don't like anybody I think people are real stupid they don't even use comon sense and they do stupid things all the time at least I think before I do is there something wrong with me I guess I was brought up to work hard and earn what u get but it seems to me that now days people expect everything to be hande to them on a silver plater I know wh3n I was young my dad didn't hesitgate to use a belt on me if I was to get in trouble now if you as a parent spank a child that's wrong but that's the whole problem today parents let their children control them insted of the parent controling the child why do you think the prison poulation is so huge because it started as a child NO DISIPLIN but what I'm geting at is why do I hate people

How to make friends as the new girl in town?

This is kinda long but I want you to fully get where I'm coming from.. and I greatly appreciate all answers because I have nobody else to ask for help about this.
My family moved to a new town in Texas, all the way from New Jersey. Even though I've been here since March I still feel like the new girl. I'm 16 btw. So far its summer vacation and I've only hung out with a girl from school once. The rest of my summer I've pretty much spent at home on the computer, at volleyball practice, or visiting relatives. I don't want my entire summer to be a waste.. how do I make friends with people? Should I always be the one inviting them for things?

I'm a tomboy and none of the girls like to be friends with me and boys I like only like me as a sister?

17/f. My best friend is getting harrassed by a boy she very briefly new. They went on like 3 dates. One day, he started accussing her of this weird stuff that never happened. After that, hes been sending her texts like "fuck you" .."I just wante to let you know.. Your a fucking idiot." they dated in january, and he is still continuing this. Also, my friend recently had an eating disorder. (almost died) he was making fun of her for it. This guy is just such a jerk. concerned for my best friend

my best friend plays a sport with me, shes really good at it and so am I. But even when she makes a couple mistakes, she beats herself up about it. She has meltdowns and gets so upset. I used to be able to help her but now we live in different towns, but talk constantly and always visit each other. I just dont know what to do or say to help her. I've told her that it's not a big deal, she's good, etc. but nothing works. Help? Ps. she's had a bad past of cutting and problems with family. Shes getting over it now, and we are closer than ever, but Im convinced her past might tie into this situation.

Every time I start talking to the guy I like (were the same age), and I tell him that I like him in the end, he always says that he only sees me as a "sister" type of thing... I always do everything I could do show him I care about him, I don't think Im that unattractive and he told me he thinks i'm pretty, and we have so much in common with each other... but why does he never like me back??? Im confused and hurt... he doesn't notice how much I care and always ends up going for the slutty girl... why?! My Bestfriend was mocking me at class. I got mad because i never expected my friend to hurt me as such. I got mad, stood up, and attacked him. Plus, I insulted him in front of the class and told if he were a man to stand up in front of me so he got scared! Now, I'm telling him i'm sorry but he's not forgiving me. His mom talked to me but that's not helping. He keeps on insulting me via Facebook. Moreover, our fiendship was extremely tight... I met this boy in third grade, we became good friends, who knew we would still be friends all the way until 11th grade, best at that. Now, I tell him most things I wouldn't tell my girlfriends because they like to gossip, with him, I know he will keep everything to himself if I tell him. He tells me about this girl he likes, he sends me songs that he writes for his guitar, we are both in the marching band and we talk alot after practice, we text a lot, we talk about anything too, private life, our brothers, our parents, our plans for the week.
