Okay, well I'm 13/f turning 14 in july
This question is regarding my birthday party...my parents are allowing me a sleepover and i'm going to bring a few friends to an amusement park for the day. The problem is, the park admission is $20 per person and obviously that would be a large amount of money for my 4-5 friends, then my family, and me. I want my friends to pay for it, but what is a polite way to put it on the invitations? I was thinking a good way to go might be to write on there "instead of a gift, admission to the park is $20." or something of that sort. What do you guys think? Thx very much =] And yeah my bday is a month from yesterday (6/14) so I don't need the answers urgent... (like, tomorrow.) I dunno if that matters on here or what, but ok I'll stop talking now haha. This is like something a bunch of my friends did for thier birthdays, they got limos which are REALLY expensive, and instead of a birthday gift we just all chipped in for the limo and dinner; beleive me it was worth it! She said she would have rather had all that fun than get birthday gifts. Its not really polite to ask for friends to pay for thier admission when its YOUR party, so i think it is a very good idea for you to put "instead of a gift, admission to the park is $20", becuase when you make them pay and buy a present this usually annoys parents, and kids, especially when its their money there paying with! So hope you have ltos of fun!

Hey everyone. I've never had any type of bangs, and it makes me kind of proud that I haven't followed that trend of the side band thing. But lately I've been thinking a lot about getting them, the thing is, I'm afraid I might regret it. (as in, not like how it looks on me) I know I can click them back if I don't like them, but I'm still unsure. In some magazines, it reccomends the side bangs for my face shape. Okay, well i think you should definatly get side bangs, they would look so good on your face shape.
Take it from me though, i got side bangs and i have CURLY hair and they do get annoying sometimes. I actually loved them though, and i have curly hair so i had to blowdry them everyday and i still didnt even find them that hard to handle. So i say go for it! hope that helped

Well, It's really not at the forefront of my mind right now, Byzantine history is, but I am debating my religious beleifs from time to time. I am floating somewhere between a Deist, an Agnostic and an Atheist. Something that doesn't have some sort of personality cult at its center. I enjoy other peoples' opinions on subjects like this. I can handle being preached to if it's something that you believe, but what I most want is something well-reasoned. I would like it if some people who sport some religious affiliation to tell me why theirs makes sense and why that is something someone like myself should believe. first of all you should know, you dont have to be any religion! Its all about what you believe. I suppose you could call me a Christian, but i know what i believe and its that God created the heavens and the earth (Genisis 1:1 of the Bible) and that Jesus died on the Cross for our sins. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever beleives in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) And that Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through him. To get into heaven you must believe that Jesus died for you sins, its simple as that! If you just believe and take his free give of salvation you get a whole ETERNITY walking on streets paved with gold! HOw cool is that???! That is my reason to believing in the Bible and what it teaches, its just so amazing and makes so much sense if you try to learn it a little. Please ask me more questions! I realy realy need some help. My friend has been cutting herself, and i don't know what to do to help stop her. She did stop, when she was dating this guy, she said "he made me feel beautful". I realy realy want to help her, but i don't kno how. I tried to get stop, but she won't listen to me. Also she's not afriad of cutting herself, because one of her friends, friend died from cutting herself, and my friend kno's this. I realy realy want to help her stop. But i don't kno how. I also think that her mom is to blame, because her mom calls her ugly and fat. But my friend isn't, shes really pretty, and weights only 102, and her weight is dropping. So i can't tell her mom, because her mom won't help....

Even though your friend might see this as betrayal, you MUST contact an adult you trust that can help you in this situation. You can't stop her alone and odviously her mother is no help. In the meantime, try taking her to hang out with you where she can have fun and forget about cutting, maybe your mom could bring you guys to an amusment park, try setting a date she could come with you. But as soon as possible you need to find a teaher or coach or guidance counselor or even a parent you trust to get her into somewhere that can help her. If you cant find anyone to help try calling a hospital and ask them what they can do to help in a situation like this. Good Luck, i am praying for you both!

but my friend is a chrisitan. He wants me to go to church with him every week, and im not all that enthusiastic. I feel guilty for even thinking about saying no because i get all self concious when i think of him thinking of me as a sinner. Anyways we were having a very good time at a footbal game and then we were talking about stuff and somehow the topic just came up about dying. He was like, no offense but if you died right now i think you'd go to hell. He was being really serious. Well, it depressed the hell out of me. Im a nice person, i dont try to judge people, i like to share, my morals are higher then anyone elses and then i get depressed because i cant live up to them. I was really hurt but i didnt let on. He wouldnt elaborate, he said we could talk about it on the phone sometime. Well, do you think it was right of him to say that? Or am i just being dumb? First of all i want you to know no matter how much youve sinned you can be saved and you CAN go to heaven! And please dont feel self concious when your with your friends, were all sinners. Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." But its also says In the Bible; John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son so that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." This verse is saying that if you believe that Jesus Christ, the son of God died on the cross for YOUR sins, you can be saved and go to heaven! Because "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." (1 Timothy 1:15) So if you except Gods FREE gift of forgivness for your sins you will go to heaven! Its a free gift, you dont have to do anything but accept it! "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of god is ETERNAL LIFE" Romans 6:23 Without Jesus dying on the cross for our sins we would go to hell...but god has given us the gift of eternal life with him in heaven!! If you recieve the gift he will forget all of your sins "as far as the east is from the west..." Colossians 2:23 So if you want to get into heaven all you need to do is listen to this bible verse, "If you confess with your tongue and believe with your heart that he is lord you will be saved." Dont feel like your just some project, your not, your a special creation made by god in his image. He had you planned out before time began and LOVES you so much he died for you. okay, one thing that you should do is go through your notes and highlight all of the information you think is important and that you will need to know for your test. next you should rewrite it on lined paper one two, even four times if you have to! rewriting it and seeing it in your own hand writing helps you remember more easily. Also wat i do to help me study is make up my own quiz, like coming up with questions and essays, restudy then answer then. and last making flash cards and having a family memeber help you with them is always wicked helpful for me! hope that helped and good luck, im sure youll pass with an A+ =]

lately ive been crying alot .... my dad died like 4 years ago.... this guy that i like that french kissed a few times just told me that he only likes me as a friend....my hair was really long and now its up to my shoulders and i hate it..... I think im really ugly but everyone else says im pretty...... im pissed off at my cheerleading coach... my mom is being really bitchy to me..... i wanna loose weight(i weight 105 pounds and im 5'1 i no that doesnt seem like heavy but i have extra fat that i wanna loose)

Hunny i jsut want you to know, i knowww everything seems really hard right now but god never gives you anything you cant handle. Just take everything one day at a time, it will all be okay! Just remember your dads in heaven and hes so happy, and he looking down and watching you! He wants you too be happy! =] And you know what, that guy isnt worth it! Hes not good enough for you and thats the gods honest truth. If hes gonna do that hes a loser and doesnt deserve you, just move on from him-dont give him the time of day. And your hair, dont worry about it! It will grow out! How about getting highlights? This will brighten up your face and give you some more much needed confidence! And how about trying some new makeup, like a pretty pink blush, some mascara and curl your eyelashes and some pink lipgloss...instant cuteness =] As for your cheerleading coach, show that lady what you got! Let her know your the best out there and put out the most effort! And you dont need to lose wieght, maybe you can just eat healthy to make you feel better. Like not fatty fried junk foods, but more fruits and veggies! And lastly, what always helps me is to pray. Just ask god to give you peace and help you deal with this situation. theres nothing i can tell you steph by step, just move with the music! The truth is not many people are that great of dancers, they just hav fun and go with the music! Dont try to think, ok where do my feet go next, left rigght front back...that wont work it will just confuse you! Just move with the music!
and if your grinding you dont want to get to nasty, then youll just look like a skank! just move up against them sort of- like i said before moved with the music and jsut have fun!

sorry this is long, and full of profanities, but i seriously cant take it anymore.
hey i dont know who is going to be up at 10 oclock on a Sunday, but of course i am. You see, i really hate my dad. Time after time he makes me so pissed off and annoyed at him, and i just cannot stand it. Like this morning, he wakes me up at 8 30 to go to church, and then he fucking leaves without me because i "wasnt ready!" Now i have to go by myself and after church i was supposed to have plans with my friend i havent seen in 2 months and i cant even do that! This morning i was writing an away message and he tells my little sister to turn off the computer because i was on for too long and i was "ignoring him" so she turns it off! like wtf? so i slam in the keyboard drawer because i was so pissed off, and it fucking broke! now im in trouble for breaking the keyboard, and not going to mass. Finally, my dad is angry at me because i bought too many songs on iTunes. The bill was 20 dollars.
Who cares?! 20 bucks is not a lot for buying music that me and my brother listen too, and this doesnt even happen every month! Usually its like 5 bucks!
You may think im being like stuck up or bratty over this, but this is how it is for me day after day. I hate my dad and im always mad at him and i wish he would leave my mom so i wouldnt have to deal with him anymore. I go to a very hard high school, and i manage to get A's and B's so i think he should be damn proud of that. can anyone help me? how can i work things out with my dad?

hey, i totally understand what your saying- it seems like no matter what our parents can find a way to ruin everything. But, as much as you probly dont want to hear this, maybe you just have to look at this from your dads point of view. Maybe hes sick of being late to church and just wants to get there on time becuase thats the one time where you can be together as a family and be calm and focused on something othere than the rush of daily life.
Also, as far as the computer thing goes, no it wasnt fair for him to turn of the computer that way, but maybe he just wants you to pay attention to him like maybe hes feeling that talking to your friends is more important than talkting to him. And the itunes bill, i understand u didnt mean it but maybe he doesnt want to waste money becuase theres more important things to pay for. Parents try not to get there kids involved in thier financial life, becuase they dont want them to hav to worry but idk if youve noticed, but the basic needs today are really expensive...even for a family with a lot of money.
I think you just need to tell your dad how your feeling. Tell him that you love him and you know that he just wants the best for you and that your really gonna try harder to listen to him and look at things through his point of view...but that means he needs to look throught your point of view also! Its hard to be a teen and im sure he remembers that..and hopefully you guys cna work things out becuase im sure he loves you and only wants wats best! =]

to give you an honest opinion, i dont think you should go. just becuase she wasnt caught the last three times, doesnt mean she wont be cought this time! And think about it, do you really want to risk getting drunk and doing something you normally wouldnt do if you were sober, or even worse getting in a car accidnet? How bad would you feel, and how much trouble would you get in if her parents found out- and knew you were there. I doubt your parents would be happy about that, or let you hang out with her or the people there for a whileeee. My advice is to just stay away from the situation; nothing good can come from a party full of drunk teenagers. You should even try to talk your friend out of it if you can, imagine how awful youd feel if people from her party went home drunk and died in a car accidnet when it could of been prevented? I hope this helped, and i hope you make the right choice =]

okay, first theres two ways you can get that guy jealous in an un-slutty way...
1. Look your absolute best! Nothing can make a guy more jealous than looking absooutely awesome and...
2. Dont give him the time of day! Hell know that he could of had you, but guess what? its too late! Dont even pay any attention to him, been there done that; onto the new guy ;]
Flirting with your friends cousin should be easy, just hang out with him that night! Get to know him a little, ask him how things are going since the summer, if hes coming back next summer...just hang out and have a good time! Be a little flirty too, like playing with your hair and touching his arm when you talk- let him know your interested in him! first of all, its your choice to like whoever you want, i mean you cant help who you like right? i understand your friends point of view, becuase guys are own age are immature as it is. But does she really know this guy? If you like him im sure hes fine for you! And its only a few months difference...i say you go for it! Just tell your friend the way you feel about him and how you dont like her putting your feelings down. You know how you feel-she cant dictate your feelings. well first of all i want to encourage you to love life! theres so many amazing things out there, whats not to love? First i think you should talk to your friends and try to find out what went wrong, maybe its just a big misunderstanding. but if you find out its for a false reason, or no reason at all then there not the kind of friends you want to hav anyways. you need to find real friends who will love you no matter what. you should try joining some after school group where you could meet ppl with the same interests as you and make some friends who you could hang out with and have fun! Also, you could try maybe going to a youth group at a church near you. Ok Me and My boyfriend broke up yesterday due to he liked another girl! It broke my heart, I was mad, and I could have pinched his head off. But now he acts like he likes me AGAIN! i know exactley what your going through...my ex-boyfriend always does the SAME exact thing. Hes acting really immature and just doesnt know what he wants. Guys like that always are in between girls, breaking up with one and going to the next. Obviously hes not great boyfriend material if hes gonna keep doing this (believe me i finally realized my guy wasnt either) You just need to give him some space and let him make up his mind. Go out with other guys, get a new crush..dont feel like you have to wait for him to make up his mind, let him know theres a million other guys out there who want YOU and you cant just waste your time on him. Oh yeah, i did this exact thing and its working! Hell start to realize how dumb he was but just make sure not to give in, gibe him time to sweat it out; hes the one being immature here and if he wants to be immature it his loss! Just know its not you its him, guys just cant make up thier minds! hope this helps!

my mom knows, i have microwave food because it comes out soggy. if i eat soggy food i get sick.

Okay first of all, pleaseeee dont listen to the people giving you violet answers. You need to talk to your parents and tell them how you feel. Then if this doesnt work you have to get help from somewhere; anywhere. A grandparent, aunt, teacher, guidance counselor, coach...i just know what there doing isnt right and you need to handle it in a non violent but productive way. I dont know if your a christian but praying always helps me. Just asking god to help them to stop treating you this way, and giving you the courage to deal with it. Good luck and god bless

My favorite after school snack would have to be a peanut butter and banana sandwich. If you make it with whole grain bread and low fat peanut butter its very healthy! You get you protien in the peanut butter, potassium in the bananas and your fiber in the whole wheat bread. Its very good...i hope you like it! =]
