Hey everyone. I've never had any type of bangs, and it makes me kind of proud that I haven't followed that trend of the side band thing. But lately I've been thinking a lot about getting them, the thing is, I'm afraid I might regret it. (as in, not like how it looks on me) I know I can click them back if I don't like them, but I'm still unsure. In some magazines, it reccomends the side bangs for my face shape. But I realllyy don't know. What are the ups & downs of side bangs? Here are some pictures, if you could just help me decide please..

clearlypink428 answered Tuesday June 27 2006, 1:40 pm: i would definetely suggest getting them. i jsut got my hair cut yesterday- and i wanted shorter bangs- but she ended up cutting them longer, and brushing them to the side to show how it would look that way, and i love it. then she angled my hair down, on eavh side- make sure you ask for that, or youll look like youre ten. i havent had bangs since i was like, 8- so i was real scared. plus, my hair was longere than halfway down my back, and i cut it right by my shoulders. the cut looks real good with the bangs- but the length is up to you. it takes a little bit of getting used to but i love it!!!!! good luck! Aren't you gorgeous!? hehe. Mygoshh! i know exactly what you mean, i dont have sideswept bangs but kind of want them!! Yes! i've read those magazines and i can never figure out what shaped head i have!! i'll ask my friends and they are nooooo help!! =] So what i would do, is go to a salon, or where ever you get your hair cut, and ask them (tell them to be really honest) would you look good with them, and depending on your lifestlye (active..like dance or sports) would they be easy enough to deal with. and listen to what they say..because in most cases they will tell you the truth...thats what they're there for.

Your straight hair is perfect for side bangs! Do you mean sideswept bangs? They look good on about everybody, go for it!
In reply to the pony tail thing, I think it looks better to have bangs hanging out instead of a forehead in case your cheeks get cold or something. [ hotpotato's advice column | Ask hotpotato A Question ]

Okay, well i think you should definatly get side bangs, they would look so good on your face shape.
Take it from me though, i got side bangs and i have CURLY hair and they do get annoying sometimes. I actually loved them though, and i have curly hair so i had to blowdry them everyday and i still didnt even find them that hard to handle. So i say go for it! hope that helped<3 [ carissaxo311's advice column | Ask carissaxo311 A Question ]

Number 1 your really pretty.
Okay so . I have side bangs and yes mam they do get really annoying. I hate it when you put your hair in a poney tail how they just fall out.
The good things about them is that there easy to handle, they look pretty on special ocasions.
