ok my family n friends live in connecticut b/c i moved a few years ago... we go there every xmas... im gonna be seeing my bff who i havent seen for like a year... i need a REALLY good xmas gift! im going to be seeing a few of my other really good friends so does anyone have any ideas about what i should get? please answer asap im leaving in like 2 days! thanx so much!... i rate

Try getting her friendship necklaces or bracelets, something like that. Or get her a photo album, and put pictures of the two of you in it. Good luck!

Hi, last year I read a short story in our 8th grade literature textbook called "Charles". I really loved the ending and the story itself, and I was wondering if anyone that has read it, knows the author of it. All I remember is that she was female, and she has written a lot of books. I've been searching for hours, and can't seem to find anything. Please help!

my friend has had this off and on relationship with this guy.hes fingered her and made out alot and stuff but he goes off and does stuff like that with other people.shes like my best friend EVER and she calls me crying sayin hes makin out with some girl.it breaks my heart and i think she should leave him.all he does is break her hearrt.she deserves so much better but she claims she loves him so much.other times she hates him.can someone help me?im afraid im in the middle.

I use to date this guy he was very kind to me we only dated acoulple weeks but i feel we told eachother everything, now 6yrs later i still think about him i was never treated so kindly by a man,he knows the guy im with now and says i should get far away from him(he doesn't like him at all) we ran into eachother out one night and i smiled at him to see if he would smile back he had to look twice the first smile was little then as he walked by he had a smile that lit up his whole face as he looked at me and walked by,so i thought it would be safe to talk to him when i asked him if we could talk he dropped the guy he was talkin to and said "yeah yeah sure" so we talked the rest of the night he bought me a drink and when this other guy came up to me he said to him look man theres any one over there that you can bother but leave her alone and the guy thought we were together so he apoligized for making my man upset(lol) i went with it. so i ended up giving him a ride home and we talked more and when he went to get out he was alittle hesitant so i asked if i could have a hug he said he could definatly do that we hugged and towards the end for a few moments he squeezed tighter, now recently i heard from a friend that he was talkin about me and said he doesn't know why im with the guy im with and that i deserve better, What does this mean does he still like me? please help me because i can't stop thinking about him and i do know i deserve better do you think he means he can treat me better?(I am 24yrs he is 25yrs) (im female)

He might still be interested, or it might just mean that he's just a really good friend and he really does think that you could do better. Try talking to him about and see what he says. Good luck!

So, awhile back I was doing a project for health class where I needed to find the price of baby strollers and I went to google to look them up. One of the first links I clicked on was ebay, but I immediately clicked out of it because we weren't allowed to buy used items. Since then, words on Spacefem and Livejournal have been underlined, and upon clicking them I get sent to an ebay site for that particular item. (Ex: my friend got "New Shoes" and they were underlined in her livejournal, when I clicked on it, there was a section for shoes.) I'm also experiencing random popups that have to do wtih the site I'm browsing, but I have a popup-blocker, so this shouldn't happen, and they're on sites I've never had popups on before said popup-blocker was installed. Most of these sites lead back to ebay. So..has anyone experienced this before, and if so, how did you get rid of it? I think it's making my connection slower as well, so though I can live with it, I'd like to get it fixed.

It's probably not Ebay. It sounds like Spyware. You can get it from downloading free stuff. If you've downloaded this stuff, then you probably need someone who's really good with computers to get rid of it. Good luck!

m/16 Hi, ive been dating my girlfriend for 5 months and a few weeks and her parents are, sorry to say, PISSING ME THE **** OFF. They wont EVER let her see me but maybe 1 every two weeks or so, and it kills me cause i never get ANY alone time with her, and the time we do get to spend together is with friends cause her parents wont let her over to my house alone. Anyone know of anything I can do to get their parents to let her do somthing, or anything i can tell my girl to say? help please!

What you need to do, is earn her parents trust. Get them something for Christmas, that would be really nice. Show them that you're good to their daughter, and they'll eventually start to trust you, and let you see your gf. Good luck!

So this guy that i've been off and on with for about a year just told me recently that it was over for good and i don't know why! He won't talk to me or look at me or anything! but thats not even the bad part! I really like him! I can't stop thinking about him or being with him! I don't know what to do! I would just let it go. I know that's hard, but it's the only thing you can do. Chasing someone who doesn't like you back won't do anything. Don't worry, the right guy will come! Good luck!

Im already having problems with my life right now but this just makes it worst!
Everyone has a girl in their school who is pretty, smart, friendly, flirty, somewhat popular.
My problem that I need advice on is how do I become that girl?
This girl, her names megan, shes short, blonde hair, pretty, smart, friendly, sorta popular, has an annoying voice sometimes, really flirty, talks about sex` bi (likes chicks n guys) a stoner but you cant tell.
She can become friends with anyone and they love her, she can start a conversation with anyone adn they talk back
Im not jealous of her bc she told me Im pretty too but I just cant be like her, I wanna find a way to be like her and I need real advice -not just talk more or flirt more- but real advice
So if anyone can help me out Id love that so please help me out Im stuck with this girl till Im outta school so I really need this advice

I have this one really good friend, and let's call her Jane. Jane and I met last year, when I came to her school for a gifted program. Jane and I became kinda friends, but I made a best friend that I'll call Kristen. It's a year later, and now were all good friends. But on the bus the other day, this girl I'll call Sam bad mouthed my friend. I asked Kristen if she liked Jane, and she said no not really. Jane is a really good friend of mine but I don't know what to do?

Maybe talk to both of them about it. If they still don't like each other, maybe try not letting them hang out. Just hang out with them separately. Good luck!

I don't know why but it seems like everytime I am at my dads he drinks. And when we are at some family get together my step-mom and my dad both drink and get "tipsy". I hate it when they do this and it pisses me off. I hate it. I tell them that it is stupid for them to do this but they never listen and it makes me frustrated and they act like idiots and it embarrases me to even think that I am related to him and her. It is so embarrasing sometimes, I feel like i am about to cry. What can I do to help me persuade them to stop drinking so much and just have a good time with out the liquor? I would really like to get some advice.

I'm sorry. Tell them how much it hurts you and embarrasses and ask them if they please cut down on the drinking. If they don't listen, maybe talk to your mom about it. Well good luck!

Ok, well ther's this guy who asked me out and I said yes. The onlyproblem is that I'm not allowed to date. But, I am allowed to go out with friends, even a coed group. My question is, what should I do? Should I try talking to myparents about it, or jsut tell them we're going as friends and other ones are going to? Ok, i like this guy, let's call him Jim. I flirt with him CONSTENTLY and i think he likes me too. But then i was talking to his friend and he said that Jim raped someone. I didn't believe him at first and i askeD Jim about it. First he said "i'd never do that!". So i got his friend to come over and he said "Yea you did, remember? On my couch last summer?" And Jim said "O YEA!"

Ok..this may be long..I go to school (I'm in 8th grade) like everyone else and I hang out w/ my little group consisting of 6 people including myself. Well, one of the girls is completley attatched to me even though she is annoying and I don't want to be her friend. Talk to the first girl about how you want your space. She'll probably understand. She probably just needs a friend, and is excited that she has one. Just don't be rude about it. And tell her to stop talking bad about your other friend, because it's hurting you. Good luck!

my family is very religious. so when they found out that i had sex with my ex boyfriend a while back they went crazy. i promised that i wouldnt do it again, but now that i am seeing someone else it's getting harder and harder to say no. i'm only 17, i know thats young, but should i wait until i am married for my family? or should i just give in for myself?

is it true that after 16 a girl stops growing?? if this is not true then what age it is?

It all depends on the girl. Some girls stop growing at an early age (my mom stopped when she was in 6th grade!) and for some, it might be around 18 or 19!
