For your information, I'm very plain. I never do anything to myself except tie my hair in a loose pony tail.
I hardly ever dress nice, or wear makeup or anything. I'm 16 years old, and I honestly feel like doing my hair, wearing makeup, wearing nice clothes and all that because I really think it'll help with my self-esteem issues. I've always noticed that I'm more confident whenever I wear makeup or do my hair, or dress nicely whenever I'm gone to a wedding or something.
My mother on the other hand absolutely doesn't want me wearing any makeup besides eyeliner, and lip gloss. She says that make up will ruin my skin, and that I'll become too accustomed to wearing it that I won't like my "real" face.
Anyways..
Do you think I should wear makeup, or should I not?

Give makeup a try :). Just keep it light, if you and your mom are worried. I only wear concealer and cover up, but it makes a noticable difference. The only way, you'll get "addicted" to makeup is if you pile it on. If you use to much, it'll look cakey. Lighter is always better.
Maybe you can get someone you know to give you a makeover just so you can experiement. Good luck. Hope my advices helps :). -Jenny

Its is gonna depend on how he is feeling. Were him and his gf going out for a long time? Or was it a casual realtionship? If he seems ok after the breakup, then you should be ok. How do I get rid of a couple problem zits overnight?!? Help!!
Zits might not go away overnight, but what you can do is make sure you wash your face before you go to bed. Also if you have any products to help with zits, try using them. I use a product called Acne Free and its works pretty good. It's only a couple of dollars at the store. Hope I helped :) -Jenny

Hey guys :) Well I'm 16 years old [Just turned 16 in August] and I've been with my current boyfriend since June '08. We've always had protected sex except once on August 14th [2 days before my birthday]. So my last period was on August 1st and since my periods are irregular at times, I counted 30 days after my last period to try and figure out when my expected period would be. Which would have been August 31st. I didn't get my period then and I didn't get it in September at all either. It's already half way through October and I haven't gotten it nor have I had signs of it coming. I did some research and it said I was ovulating at the time I had unprotected sex making it a 15% chance of me being pregnant. I'm just wondering if it's possible that I could be pregnant or maybe my period is just being really delayed. Also, When should I test for pregnancy if I do decide to? Thanks in advance for your advice :)

My periods have never been this irregular, I normally just miss one, but not two.

First off, get a home pregnancy test at a local store and check just to be sure.
As far as your period goes, pregnancy is just one of the possible reasons why you havent been getting it. If you changed your diet recently or if you have gained or lost weight, it could affect your period. Also a huge factor is sress. If youve been under a lot of stress recently- from school, homework, ect- that could really affect your period.

Ok I've hung out with my older brother's friends for awhile now (he is 25 and his friends range from 21 - 28 i think). Well, I've liked one of them for a couple years now, and they had a new years eve party last night. I ended up staying there, and me and this guy that I've liked slept on the couch together (nothing happened though, just cuddling). After we all left, he sent me a message on facebook and said he had a good time chillin with me and gave me his number. So I gave him mine, and we're texting now. He wants to take me to a movie sometime, and I'm really excited. But the problems are 1) he's 24 and 2) my brother doesn't really like him anymore (some girl issue they had like a year ago). I really want to see where things go with this guy, but my brother would kill me if he knew. He's already told me I shouldn't go out with him and all. Plus, my mom doens't think it's a good idea, cause it might mess up my relationship with my brother. I'm really stuck on this. I really like this guy, but at the same time, I don't want to ruin my relationship with my brother. :/ Help??

i told her to talk to her brother. that way, he doesnt think she is keeping secrets from him. try talking to him asap. maybe even tonight if you can. also see if you can get your mom to be with you whenever you talk to him. its like a two against one kinda situation.

Im so obsessed with harry potter. now that the books are all out and there are no new movies i have gotten desprate, so much that i was on youtube watching fake 6th movie trailers. any suggestions?

How do you use limewire? I just downloaded it and the songs I try to download say "need more sources" with zero progress. After I get something downloaded, how do I get it onto my i pod?
The songs that need more sources dont have enough support to download them. These songs often skip or have something wrong with them when they play. The ones that work best are the ones with a speed of T3 or higher (you can look at the speed- its on the righthand side of the song title).
Also i would recomend deleting Limewire and downloading something called Frostwire. It is almost identical to Limewire, but it is safer as far as illegal downloading goes. Limewire is under close supervision by the government now. Hope my advice helps! ♥ Jenny

Ok, so whenever I try to log into myspace, it won't let me. It says I entered the wrong password, which I didn't. Also, another page pops up that says "protectedmodeoff" and then the rest of it is just a white web page. Please help, I don't know what happened. Did I get hacked? If so, how do I get unhacked?
How hackers get your password is they create a fake myspace page that looks like the real one. When you type in your password, you think you are logging on, but you are really sending your password to the hacker. You dont want this to happen, so if you can, try to use the link at the bottom of the myspace page to contact the people at Myspace. Email them. Let them know what is happening. my sister and i always snoop out presents, so we know what we're getting every year. this year, the main thing i wanted was a new digital camera- a NICE one. it was the only big thing i asked for. [last year it was an ipod nano, which was then $200, and i got it.] the camera i picked out was less than $200. well, we were snooping and i found a digital camera. it's NOT what i wanted at all, and they know exact what i want in one. there IS a possibility it isn't for me, because another family member wanted one. but i'm almost positive it is.
so my question is, if it is my present, how do i let my parents know it's not what i wanted, without hurting their feelings? i ABSOLUTELY hate to sound like i'm not appreciative of what i get, because i am. but since this is the only big thing i wanted and it's not even really what i wanted, i'm disappointed. help?!
Maybe your sister can help you out. Next time your parents go shopping, maybe she could show them the one that you wanted. That way you can let your parents know without being obvious.
