Very good book! I didn't realize there were more books in the series. I will be reading them. Homecoming was also made into a good movie.

First off im 15 and my boyfriend is 16.I havnt had my period since end of April. I took a pregnancy test early this morning. It showed up positive. I asked my father to make me a doctor apt. and i have one tomarrow morning. (he knows it was positive) My boyfriend and i no the kind of responsibility it is going to take. It will be tough but you can do it if you both work together. Its really good that you have told your family. Hope they all give you moral support.

Next year I will be trying out for my school's cheerleading team. I want to already know how to do a split before a try out for the team. I would like to some tips and pointers on how to do a split. Like what type of warm ups should I do before a split and what type of cool downs should I do after a spilt. If anyone had any helpful advice it be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. (link)

k, I spent a good chunk of last month at the multinational training center doing gunnery and other army activities. it mostly involved firing the fifty cal machine gun, and vietnam-style wargames against live opposing forces. last weekend, I did this extremely hot lithuanian girl. here's the problem: I got a bigger rush and had a better time running around the german forest wildly firing at anything that moved than having my way with this girl. I'm thinking that's a little messed up. I don't really leave post much, spend a lot of time training, and don't really see many girls (the lunchladies are starting to look hot). is it just an environmental factor showing itself after eight months of nonstop hooah army stuff, or is this a more deep seated psychological issue? You're just more into the training thing right now. Don't worry about it! That's where your head is the majority of the time so of course it is going to be the bigger rush. :)

My friend has always dated someone younger than herself. And she is again. And liking it. And she is a freshman in highschool and is dating this 8th grader. And just today she told me that she might be pregnant. But shes really not sure: they did it once two weeks ago and they were protected and all, but the numbers say that condoms dont work all the time and she hasn't gotten her peroid.
Could having sex just mess up the time it comes? Or is it more likely shes pregnant?

Most likely she is just late or skipping one if she used protection correctly. Having sex won't mess it up.
She could be pregnant, but I don't think I would panic about that yet since they used protection. :)

I just got AcneFree for the first time. I wanted to know, am I not supposed to go outside when I'm using it, like I can't tan at the pool or anything? [ It says avoid sun exposure ] and it also says it may bleach, so do I have to keep it away from my eye brows and eye lashes? Thanksguys =] (link)

If it says on the package to avoid sun exposure,
you probably should. That usually means it will cause you to burn much faster. Doesn't mean you can't go outside, just avoid standing around in the sun for long periods of time.
If it says it may bleach then I think it might be a good idea to avoid getting it on your hair as much as you can. At least try it on a small area before you do. :)

Aerobic Exercise. Dance! Or do some other form of exercise that gets your heart beating. Join a class at the local YMCA if you can for slimming thighs & hips.
Skipping.Buy a jump rope and skip for 10 minutes, 3-4 times a week
Swimming.All swimming is good. Even better is swimming on your back, using your legs only
Brisk Walking.Find a friend and go for regular, fast walks (20-30 mins each), 3-4 times a week
Ride a Bike. But instead of sitting on the saddle, stand up and pedal as fast as you can
All the above will help get rid of the unwanted fat. It will help you all over. Very hard to get rid of it in just one spot. :)

In my sophomore year in high school, I've become friends with a senior and known him for only a year. As soon as he graduated and school ended, I have thought about no one else but him. It was then that I realized that I liked him a lot, and I missed him a lot. We still talk over the phone and e-mail and instant message, but I want to open up to him and tell him how much I like him personally before he moves on to college. I know there is no easier way to do this, but are there a couple of things to say before I open up, just to ease up the conversation? (link)

Since hes going off to college, why not suggest
that you get together and hang out before he has to leave?
Go out to dinner, go do something fun and maybe he will bring it up. If he doesn't then you can either tell him how you feel or hope he wants to go out again. Sooner or later he is bound to want to talk about it. Especially if you have fun together. :)

I have to go for a breast exam and a pap smear in a couple days and im totally flipping out becuase i just read an article on how and what the doctor does (http://kidshealth.org/teen/your_body/medical_care/obgyn.html) and this is scaring me becuase its the most private part of my body. or parts. the part im most worried about is me being 15 female and my doctor is a male. I have been to both male and female doctors and it is awkward no matter what doctor does it. It is just one of those things we have to do for health reasons. Everyone feels the same...I don't know anyone who enjoys it!
A female nurse will be in the room with you the entire time. They will talk to you and try and keep your mind on other things.
The actual pelvic exam doesn't take that long. And as Isis said the doctor has done so many it
is just a routine for him. It will be over before you know it. :)

You probably need to just forget you saw it...but I know that's a hard thing to do.
The porn could just be something he looks at now and then, doesn't mean he is cheating or anything. The website could have been a pop up or something. I don't know about the make up site but make up isn't really something you'd buy a girlfriend.
If you are really worried about it I suppose you could ask your dad what it all means. Or, you could just let them work it out for themselves.
Sometimes people who have been married a long time hit some rough patches. It doesnt mean they are going to break up. :)

My friend is going to kill herself next Friday.

She doesn't eat, she's an insomniac, and she is very stressed.
She's been to shrinks but she says that they were a waste of her time.

Here is a site that tells you what all will go on during your first pelvic exam. It is required prior to your being given a prescription for birth control.
If you have any questions you can think of you'd like to ask the doctor or his nurse while you are there, write them down before so you don't forget them in your nervousness! Look around this site too because it has lots of useful info. It might also cause you to think of some things you want to ask about tomorrow. :)

So my school year was stressfull full of drama.
I was looking forward to summer, because..well its summer & I woudlnt have to see the people who were pissing me off.
But I hate my youth group and theres a girl in it, who constantly in school, would be like"HI!" everytime she saw me in the hallway. ITS ANNOYING, shes a senior she graduated, I'm a freshman. I'll be a sophmore next year.
But she talks to me like I have no friends, she is the one who doesnt have friends. And i recently stopped going to my youth group, and I'm not going on the summer missiontrip. Because Ic ant deal with all them right now.
But my point is, I asked your advice abotu that girl who made a fake account on xanga, she CALLED ME ON THE PHONE, and acted like nothing happened, because she doenst know I knwo that that is her on xanga. I mean stressful, she acted like she did nothing wrong, wishing me a great summer, and that maybe we should hang out. NO i will not hang out with her, beacuse she attracts DRAMA wherever she goes, and I have no interest in being her frined.
But what gets me, is that youth group girl, SHE CALLED ME TODAY, but I told my brother to tell her I was busy. He said she wants to go out for coffee. OKAY, the point is she doesnt get I dont like her, and I dont want to be friends iwth her. She annoys the crap out of me, and i"m not trying to be mean, but HELLO, she is one of those people who is all hyper spazy, "lets be happy!" people,and I'm not.
ARGH, I dont go to my youth group because I dont like the poeple in it, they arent my friends. They are all fake sterytpical people, if you know what I mean.
And She thinks that I dont want to go because I dont have firensd there, and she's like "I'll be your frined." thats not the case, I DONT want to be friends with them. I think way differently and I always feel uncomfortable.
My mother says shes trying to be nice, but I mean.. cant a person get some SPACE? I was looking forward to not dealing with all this stress during summer, and I'm going to have to see everyone on sunday's at church, what do I do?

I know EXACTLY what you mean. When I was in school I had the same thing with this girl. I finally just got mad enough I told her...I can't stand you. You are driving me insane, leave me the hell alone!

I don't know exactly what finally made her get the message. To be honest, I'm not sure she ever did. Like your bothersome people she was one of those really obnoxiously cheery things you just want to smack!
I just kept telling her. I don't want to hurt your feelings but we are NOT friends. I don't like you! One day she just got happy waving from
a distance and smiling.
I hated to do that but there are those people who just can't take a hint. I'm sure both girls just want to be friends with you. That one is a definite nut case and the other I'm sure means well, as your mom said, but is still annoying. She will most likely befriend someone else on the mission trip and bother them instead.
Hard as it is, because if your like me, you really don't want to hurt their feelings. Sometimes you just kind of have to. Just tell them you are busy all summer and don't have the time to hang out. If they continue to bug you...tell them you don't feel you have anything in common and just don't want to hang out. AND, if all else fails tell them you just don't want to be friends with them...leave me alone!

Has she said you couldn't shave? If not, I'll bet she won't have a problem with it if you just ask her.
Just say something like.... Mom, I'm growing up as you know, I am embarrassed because all my friends shave and I don't. Do you think we could get me some supplies so I can shave too?
