My friend is stressing
My friend has always dated someone younger than herself. And she is again. And liking it. And she is a freshman in highschool and is dating this 8th grader. And just today she told me that she might be pregnant. But shes really not sure: they did it once two weeks ago and they were protected and all, but the numbers say that condoms dont work all the time and she hasn't gotten her peroid.
Could having sex just mess up the time it comes? Or is it more likely shes pregnant?

When I first had sex, it messed up the time of my period. A lot of people says it doesn't, but ahh- it does. Condoms are very effective, when used correctly. But sadly, they hardly ever are in teenagers. So i'd suggest telling your friend to chill out & not stress until her period is at least a month late. Then I would suggest getting a pregnancy test.

Sex at that age is unhealthy, but besides that she needs a test. Don't freak out I mean she's probably jsut running late but you can never be too careful. In the case that she is pregnent have her talk to her parents about it. If she is not willing to do that she should definatly call a counsler and try to schederal an abortion. condoms work about 90% of protecting you from geting pregnant..she should defently take a pregnancy test because the 10% chance of the condom breaking could have occured. and the reason she hasnt gotten her peirod is probly cuz she is just late which is very normal for freshmen sophmores..or it could mean she is pregnant so be sure that she takes a pregnancy test..hope i helped

just to be safe, get an ept (home pregnancy test) to check, get the simple ones
if you dont want her parents to find out she used it, go to somewhere you can throw it away and they wont see it (grocery story, resteraunt, mall bathroom)

She should probably buy a pregnancy test to be sure. Condoms work about 97% of the time, so she shouldn't worry much. Her period can skip around a little, but if it hasn't come to her in a really long time, she should go to the Obgyn just to be sure.

Most likely she is just late or skipping one if she used protection correctly. Having sex won't mess it up.
She could be pregnant, but I don't think I would panic about that yet since they used protection. :)
