Hi. Some might say that my subject for this question seems humorous but I'm desperate.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 8 months. He lives in Texas and I'm in Oregon. Yes, this is an internet relationship, but it's lasted this long. So, something has to be working.

Anyway. In the beginning of the relationship my grandma didn't think much of it. She thought my boyfriend was a sweet guy (he has talked to her on the phone). Well, she thought that until she found out he's hispanic. My grandma is, as much as I hate to say it, racist.

She now doesn't allow me to call him anymore. I've resorted to sneaking the phone after she's gone to sleep. Just because I wanted to hear his voice. Talking online makes allows me and him to talk, but it's too easy to get distracted while online. I've been caught sneaking the phone and because of that she's started hiding it.

Please, I need some help. I don't know how to make my grandma understand that I love him and I don't care what race he is. I've tried to tell her, but it doesn't seem to get through. I just want her to accept it. Please, I'm up for any advice. Thank you!

Putting your grandmother aside, how do you plan to maintan this relaitonship? You live half way across the country from each other. Are you just going to wait for 5 years until you graduate to meet him? Are you going to deprive yourself from real realtionships? Don't waste away your teen years for some guy you have never meet. Long distance relationships don't work unless you have a plan. When will you see each other next, when will you finally be together?

Maybe your grandmother will be more likely to let you talk if you are just friends. But with a women of her age, you have little chance of changing her views. And honestly I woudn't let my daughter talk on the phone and have a relationship with a strange man on the other side of the country, no mater what race he was. As long as you live in her house, you have to live under her rules. She is the one that pays the phone bills, and long distance is expensive.

Have you condsidered getting your own cell phone?

ok wow here goes the problem.. me and my boyfriend have only been going out for like 2 weeks but for some reaon i really like him and idk he gets mad really easy and like if he says something and i yell at him back he will be like o shut up and hang up on me or something and if i dont then he be like see how i got my bitch whipped..
i mean idk what to do my bestfriend went out with his best friend and they broke up.. and now im scared because he thinks that imma do what she did to him and try to get with someone else and we might not se each other that much any more..
but is this bad i mean is this leading to a bad relationship and how can i get him to beleive that i wont do that to him?

It's only been two weeks and you are already having problems. Believe me, it is not meant to be. Break it off, you can find something better.

how long does it useally take for a tan to fade away?

It totaly depends on your skin type. My tans fade away in a day or two, while my sister's tan will last for weeks.

See if you can make a compromise. Her parents drive one way, and yours drives the other.

You have to start out slow. If it is your first time, 5 minutes is plently. And then you gradually add on to that. Also ask at the salon what they recommend.

Right now you are in denial if you are thinking it is just a phase. It's most likley not. Ask her why she has kept it a secret. Let her know she doesn't need to hid things from you because you are going to support her no matter what, and you are not ashamed that she is gay. To show your support offer to help her come out to your parents.

You can't expect this boy to give you a mature relationship because he is still a child himself. It's hard to have a mature relationship with a 20 year old! For now just have fun with each other, don't plan out you life with him.

I need to know what to do about my husband and daughter. My 5yr old daughter dont talk and avoids my husband.. My husband tells me he loves her but thinks she is a brat. He told me i should think bout puttin her in counciling. Your daughter does not need counsling. She lives in fear of your husband, that's why she avoids him. I'd say it is your husband that needs the councling. Your children should come first before anyone.

This isn't really a sexual question, but it involves my genitals, so I figured this would be the best place to ask.

My labia is very irritated, itchy, and sometimes downright painful. I know it's not an STD, because I haven't done anything that could give me an STD. It's a bit like a rash, but I wouldn't call it one, it's more like irritation. Sometimes, I'll put vaseline on it, but it doesn't help much and not for long. It's a sharp, burning pain. It especially hurts when I'm forced to touch it, like after I use the restroom, or if I have to insert a tampon. Again, it's just my labia (inner and outer, mostly inner), not anything else, really.

It sounds like a yeast infection. You should deffienetly go see your gynocologist though to be correctly diagnoised. If you treat yourself incorrcetly you can make the situation worse.

When you go to the doctor just to get meds. for the flu or something...do they still weigh you? I know they do when you go in for a physical or a check-up but what if you just have the flu?

My family is extremely well off money wise. And so are the kids that go to my high school but my family kind of has more money then most of the people in our neighborhood.

Well, I've been talking to a few girls at school about our prom dresses and theirs are around 200-500 dollars. Well, I found the perfect dress but it's 1,500 dollars. I'm supposed to go buy it this weekend but there's a problem. It's not that we can't afford the dress, because we can and my parents think that it's a good amount to pay for it. It's that I don't want to be the only girl there that paid over a thousand dollars for a Prom dress. I don't want people to talk about it or anything.

Should I get the dress even though it's 3 or 4 times more than what everyone else is going to pay for theirs?

If you are feeling guilty about it, then don't buy the dress.

I'm 19/f. I dont know how to solve this problem between me and my mom. Were constanly rowing and i dont know how to make them stop. The rows are about everything home my job money the lot. Well you are gowing into an adult and want to be independant, yet if you live at home your mother still thinks she is incharge. So naturally you are going to argue over who is control of your life. Maybe it is time to move out, then she can't control what you do. You won't have to argue about money and your home, because it is no longer shared. My sister and I get along much better with eachother and our parents now that we no longer live together.

You are a 13 year old girl. You don't need to worry about not having a boyfriend. In fact many parents I know wouldn't even allow their children to date so young. Play sports and enjoy being young. Don't worry so much about boys.

my hands get clamy alot, and its not gross or anything its just somewhat moist. I don't know why because I'm not a nervous or sick person, but anyway I would really like to know what can be done (and if you think surgery or medication than dont even bother). Try using baby powder, it will suck up the extra moister. Also check around the foot powder section in the store, they might have powder specifically for hands.

Bisquick on a stick! Mix Bisquick and make a dough, then mold over a clean stick. Cook until golden brown. It makes a tastey roll!
