What do you do when a bestfriend of 20+ years just stops hanging, calling, talking to you without reason (I've asked )to you? I'm a female 34yrs, same as her.
karenR answered Thursday March 17 2005, 5:20 pm: Something must be going on with her if she just all of the sudden stopped. I think I would pay her a visit and try to get to the bottom of it.I mean is she mad about something,Is she working to hard and just has know time,Is she dating someone and has no time, Did she go through a breakup and is depressed? Man, it could be a lot of things.20Yrs. Is a long friendship and not one that I would just toss aside.Go to her and make her talk to you.Take a bottle of wine or box if your favorite icecream and have a long talk.Good luck, I hope you find out what is going on. LindasCounsel answered Thursday March 17 2005, 12:51 pm: Dear Bestfriends,
Twenty years is a long time. It seems odd that a long-time friend like that would just "suddenly" stop calling or talking to you. You say that you've asked, but you don't say how she responded. People tend to give up on things that aren't working for them. Do you think there are reasons why this friendship isn't working for her? You don't give much detail so one can only guess about the reasons. Can you tell me more?
