It's not bad to go for older guys at your age, if they're only older by a couple of years. Even if you have crushes on much older guys, it makes sense; we all want someone more mature!

Try to curb your desire to show how much you have a crush... be a little more subtle, it works wonders!

It's not wrong to want to have sex... but it doesn't mean you should.

My personal beliefs are that you should only have sex if you are able to deal with any potential outcomes, such as pregnancy or STDs. If you cannot comfortably carry a child to term, then you should not be having sex.

I know that my friends and I are generally suspicious of men who flirt by commenting on our appearances, or some other superficiality, as we're wary of shallow men. If you can have a meaningful, interesting conversation, then you're ahead of the game!

It all really depends on three things;
a) at what status is your relationship?
b) how old are you?
c) what is his current income?

If you're a young teenager who has been dating for a couple of months, then I would tell him not to, since you're far too young. If you are older, and your relationship has developed fully and he can afford to give gifts such as this, then he is giving you a symbol of his commitment, and so if you feel the same way, you should feel no guilt over accepting it.

If you don't feel ready to accept a gift like this from him at this point in time, then you should let him know that you take your relationships very seriously, and you think that you're just not at a stage yet where large gifts are appropriate.

I have a few friends who grew up in small towns, so I know how you feel. Just wait a while, tough out the next 4-5 years, and go to school somewhere else. It will let you keep your roots in your town, but you can still expand your horizons. I know it sounds hard, but you have your whole life ahead of you to explore!

Absolutely... I've seen friendships lost because of hooking up, and it's not pretty. It's never worth it to lose a friend for the sake of kissing a few times; just let him know that you liked being his friend and tell him that you want to forget it ever happened.

Definitely wait, because you want it to be special for sure. I don't regret my first time at all, I was nearly 18, but I do wish I had waited longer, because it's a really big responsibility, one that I'm not even really ready for now! I'm nearly 19, but with sexual activity comes the burden of knowing that you could get pregnant or get an STD. You have to be able to deal with this if it does happen, and I'm still not equipped for it, so I'm wishing I had waited longer, even though I've really cared about the guys I've been with.
