Is it just a myth that you can masturbate too much?
If it isn't, what are the consequences of it?
How much is too much?
I'd appreciate real medical answers instead of just guesses or rumors, but I'll take anything. If it makes a difference, the question is for someone m/21. Websites would be great. Thanks.

NinjaNeer answered Monday April 10 2006, 4:34 pm: You cannot masturbate too much! It's fun, healthy, and a great way to release that pent up tension :P
Too much is when it starts to interfere with your daily life; if you start to miss work so that you can masturbate, then it's an issue. Otherwise, in my personal opinion, wank away! [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]

helpmebrenda answered Monday April 10 2006, 2:33 pm: Hi
There is nothing wrong with masturbation...in fact, it has many benefits. It can help you achieve better, longer lasting orgasms when having sex with a partner. It can help you find out what you really like and how you like it.
I think that as long as masturbating isn't interfering in your life ei: doing that instead of going to work, or out with friends etc. then do it, and enjoy it!!
mayonnaise answered Monday April 10 2006, 1:57 pm: Sue Johanson is a sex expert on Oxygen. She answered this question a few weeks ago. Her answer was No, you can not masturbate to much. The consequences are basically none, you're just pleasing yourself. (i hear snickering) And no, there is not to much. Masturbation is actually very good for your health! Sadly, I have no websites, but I'm pretty sure a doctor/sex expert knows what she is talking about.
