could i be pregnant, i mean i havn't had sex, but could i be pregnant anyway?
i'm 12 and i started my 1st period june 15. i heard u were supposed to get it every 28 days and i'm about a week late if that's the case! could i be pregnant, i mean i havn't had sex, but could i be? plz help!

If you got your first period a little over a month ago, then don't worry about not getting it exactly 28 days later. When you first start your period, it's going to take your body some getting used to and it'll be irregular for the first few months.. at least that's how it was with mine. No need to freak out because you're like any other average girl going through adolescence.
Besides your period being irregular, there's no way you have even a remote chance of getting pregnant if you've never had sex before.

Don't worry you're not pregnant. Some people, like me, just have periods at different times. If I were you I'd have a pad with me all the time. And I've heard eating pizza will hurry it up, or something of the sort. Drink a lot of water!

haha no ur not pregnat. You can only become pregnat if you had sex and u either didnt use protection or the condom broke when the guy came. Every girl is different. When i first got mine, i skipped a whole month before i got it again. Your cycle is gonna be really messed up for about a year until you start to know when you are going to start for that next month

You're young - your periods are going to be irregular for awhile. I mean, my periods used to come anywhere between 23 and 31 days. I didn't have the 28-day cycle until I started the pill.

It's normal that your period isn't going to be on a regular 28 day schedule. My period didn't start to become normal until I started taking birth control. Talk to your parents about that. Tell them it's not for sex, but it's to keep a normal schedule.

Well when you first get your period, you are not always reguler. Some girls get there period once, and than don't get it for another 6 monthes or so. It suxs to have it be so irregular but, eventually it will come every month.

If you haven't had sex, its not possible for you to be pregnant, that being said, don't worry about your period, for the first 2-3 years it might be very irregular so you could have it one month and then totally skip it the next. Also the 28 day thing is more of an average, everyone is different.

i even know someone who had her period once, and didn't get it again for a whole year.
lots of girls don't get a routine in their period for several years. you may go 28 days, or 42 days or something. you won't get a specific amount of days between your periods for a few years.
REMEMBER:you are perfectly normal to have that, and unless you've been having sex or been messing around with guys, you are not pregnant.
