everytime i go to go and sleep.. i always have a hard time getting to bed because my mind wrestles all lifes stupid problems.. and its so bad.. b/c ill be up 1-2 hours just battling with my mind when i just want to be at peace and get some rest... ne tips on how to fall STRAIGHT to sleep? thx much appreciated (link)

well whenever i cant sleep which is alot of times cuz i have alot of things on my mind to i listen to the radio or i pop in one of my favorite CD's and that usually works.

In school, i've always been called names like "gay" and "fag". i think its because
#1) i have a high voice and...
#2) i act goofy alot cause i like to have fun

Well im not sure if there is a way to stop it. But give it time and maybe ppl will forget all about it. But u shouldnt care about what other ppl think of u. U know the truth about yourself and obviously no one knows the real u. So just give it time and hopefully people will forget about the whole gay thing.

there is nothing wrong with shutting down for a few days. Thats actually a good idea to do. U should try to do it more often I mean so ur not as confused about stuff.

My mom is an alchoholic(or however you spell it) and she left my father a few years ago. She has been an alchoholic for as long as I cant remember and she has wrecked about 5 of our cars. She used to make me lie for her so my father wouldnt find out she had been drinking. I never told on my mother, because she convinced me that it was my father who was the problem. Whenever he found out about my mothers drinking, she would blame it on me and call me a bitch. I never blamed her, saying that it was the alchohol, and not her talking. She has been to jail twice, and also AA, which did nothing. After she left my father she took half of the money with her and ruined my chances for a good college.She still blamed my father. After that she got both a dog and a cat for me but was "keeping them for me" at her apartment. She lost both of them. She dated about 100 guys who she scraped up from the under belly of satan. (They were all the "one")she finally married one of the grungiest, who smelled of pot( she did drugs to.)then she skipped town after not showing up to court after a drug bust.We havent heard from her or her husband since. All of this almost killed me. She went from loving mother to a pot addict between jobs and under house arrest in a hotel. Its hard going day after day not knowing if your mother ids still alive, so please if anyone out there knows or knew a woman named Judy M. Flint ( maiden name Judith M. Daniel) please let me know? And if anyone has gone through something similar it would be great to talk to you. Thanks (link)

Hi! ummm this is weird asking a stranger for advice but here it goes.. im 19 and ever since i was 12 i have had 2 best friends. steve and tony, they were both the world to me, and in january suddenly they both started to like me, and i was honest with them both i was confused, but i had more feelings for steve, but didnt want to hurt tony, and then suddenly steves lil brother called me one day and told me that steve was dead. steve killed himself. i was devestated. he hung himself on a swing at our fav. park. i was so lost and i cryed so much i couldnt cry nemore. but that was march 1st and in those months to now, i have fallen completely in love with tony, but cant bring myself to be with him in a relationship b/c im not over steve. tony said he cant wait forever and thats understanable but i have so much regret from steve, im so torn, between what i have left and what i could have had. i go to steves grave everyday, i visit his mom all the time, but i chill with tony everyday. tony just got signed to a record label and hes gunna be a huge singer but says he doesnt wanna do it without my support b/c im his best friends and the girl hes in love with, but im haunted by the memory of steve... plz help... anyone plz help, my screen name is yellycutie31 if anyone else can help either... im so torn, and idk what to do... Oh hunny im so sorry about ur loss thats really sad. If u have really big feelings for Tony then maybe u could give it a try with him but if its to hard because u still arent over Steve then maybe u cant be with Tony. I dont know what to tell u cuz i have never been through this kind of stuff but if i ever go through something like this then I would either give it a try with the other guy or just stay really close friends with him. Well ur friend could be at a point in her life where she needs to have boys in her life like boys that will have sex with her. She shouldnt be doing this because she is young and maybe the boys r just using her for the sex cuz they know how she is. I am twenty one years old and have been married for over a year. My husband and I recently discovered that we are pregnant. Though it wasnt planned, we are both very excited and happy about it. So is everyone else... my friends, my family, even my mom. Everyone, except for my father.
When I told him the news, he was completely shocked, which I could understand. I called a few days ago to see how he's doing, and he said some very mean things that made me pretty upset. I dont understand this reaction, because he also got married and started a family at a young age.
Its been about two weeks since we broke the news to him, and he just seems to be sad and disappointed in me.
I just want my dad to accept this and to be happy for us, but at the same time I dont understand why I am so strongly seeking his approval.

Well it seems to me that ur dad may be afraid to lose u. U may be 21 years old but he does love u with all his heart im sure and hes just afraid he wont see u very much when ur baby is born as much as he used to see u. Maybe u could talk to ur mom and maybe she could convince him to be happy for u. He shouldnt be angry because ur an adult now and u can do whatever u want. Hope i helped

No u cant be pregnant. Sometimes when u first start ur period u dont have a regular schedule like ur supposed to get it once every month but u might skip a few months just give it time.

my dad travels almost every week to california. we live in mass. he`s missed my birthday for about 5 years now and my most recent violin concert that was really important to me and my soccer tournament. occasionally he gets weeks off work and travel and stays home or works from home but he`s always in a really bad mood. whever i ask him to stop bitching at me he`s like "what, i`m not in a bad mood! leave me alone!"i try to tell my mom that he`s in a bad mood for no reason at all and ask her to tell him to stop it but she always sticks up for him and says that he has it rough traveling so often, we should give him a break, he`s just tired he`s always been kind, patient, a great person etc etc But even she has to see that he`s being just plain evil sometimes. once i remember i was working on a project with a friend and asked him to cut up a box for him and he said no because he was busy [he was watching tv and eating] so we asked again after he was done with lunch and he said only if we bring everything to him! it was impossible to bring all of the things in the box [it was a clay diorama] to him! it weighed a ton! oh gosh that`s not even close some of the worst he`s done .. i want him to stop because it`s hard enough for me n my bro to have a dad that isnt around much but when he is home, can`t he make an effort not to scream at us for laughing?

My friends, family, everyone tells me that I have a fabulous voice and need to be revealed to the public. I've been doing everything musical for my school, community, and town.
