Q: does anyone have any excersises to loose upper-arm fat or any to loose weight in your stomach/love handles.. thanks in advance
First off, I recommend going walking at least 30 minutes everyday. For arm exercises, I recommend arm curls. If you have small weights this will help but basically you bring your arms down in front of you and bring the weights up to your chest and back down. I would do as many as you can! For stomach exercises, I recommend doing crunches or situps. One last thing, I recommend doing stretches before you go to bed. This helps you to relax more before you go to bed and that's when you burn fat the most. I hope this helps and good luck!

Q: ok i have a BIG problem and im sure that it happens to a lot of people.. but whenever something happens that makes me mad i always want to kill myself and its scary cuz sometimes i almost do.. i dont no wut to do and i need some help before i actually do!!! does this mean im like mentally ill or something?? should i see a doctor or anything?? thanks..

Well, I know how you feel. I don't think you're mentally ill at all. I do think it might help to tell somebody about this whether it's your family, friends, boyfriend, whoever. Also, what makes me feel better is to write my feelings on a piece of paper. If this feeling of wanting to kill yourself continues then I would definitely go see a doctor. I hope this helps!

Q: (14/f) ok well.. i have this guy friend who used to be like my best friend but we havent talked in over a month and his name is steve. hes everything i ever wanted in a guy. we used to be a couple but then i broke up with him cause i thought i liked someone else more (this was in like early july) and now i dont know.. im really starting to fall for him. and i came right out and told him i still like him. and he didnt type anything back so i just said something totally random and he responded to that. but i know he heard me because later that night i said i shouldnt have said something earlier and he was like "oh was it that you still like me? because i already knew that". i dont think he likes me anymore because when he used to like me (way back in may) he used to act like he wanted to be my friend but ever since we broke up it seems like hes just being my friend cause he feels bad for me? so i wrote him and said "if you dont wanna be friends anymore dont lead me on, just come right out and say it" but he kept saying he does and stuff but i just dont know. so im working on making our friendship all good again but i just dont know its hard when i like him so much. and i dont wanna stop liking him in case he likes me too and i dont realize it. should i just come right out and ask him if there is ever gonna be a future for us and if not i need to know because i dont wanna waste my school year being stuck on you while there could be other guys.. im just so confused. sorry this is so long but i need some help and this is the only was i could describe it! muchos gracias in advance! -- christine
Hi Christine! Thanks for writing to me. To me, it sounds like both of you need to really talk. I think you should come right out and ask him if there is a future for you both. I think if you do that then you will feel much better. If he doesn't want to talk about it then just give him space and he'll eventually come around. Don't bother him with the issue but try to talk to him at least first and then back off. Who knows? Maybe he'll end up telling you that he wants to get back with you. I hope this helps and good luck!

I recommend a cat. They are easy to take care of. Pretty much all you need to do is make sure they have food and water and you can play with them once in a while but cats generally are independent so they will do things on their own. Of course, if you want to make your cat a completely inside cat then you'll have to get a litter box but cats do well being indoors and outdoors. I hope this helps and good luck!

Well, I usually walk for at least 30 minutes but it actually usually ends up being about 45 minutes to an hour. I try to walk everyday if I can unless I work late so I'd say I walk 5 to 6 days a week if I can. So far I've lost a total of 6lbs. Some other things I've done to lose the weight is I watch my calorie intake and I don't eat past 7pm. I try to snack on fruits and veggies if I need a snack. For exercise, I do leg lifts, arm curls and crunches or situps. For leg lifts, I lay on one side and bring my leg up and down and then switch sides for the other leg. I recommend starting out with 30 on each leg. For arm curls, if you have small weights this will help but you bring your arms down in front of you and keeping your elbows still you bring the weights up to your chest. I would do as many of these as you can. One last thing I do is stretch before I go to bed. This helps me to relax more when I sleep and you tend to burn fat more when you are sleeping. Q: well i had my period.. n they were like all the symptoms n everything so im sure i had it.. but ive missed my period date?? idk wats going on.. i tried to wait a few extra days but its been like 4-5 days n i sitll havent gotten it? its my 2nd time getting my period so i dunno is that normal? im not very close with my mom.. so i cant really talk to ehr about it.. i dunno what to do! helppp!! This is definitely normal. Your period won't be regulated for a while since you just started it so you have nothing to worry about. I hope this helps!

You can walk and still lose weight. I've been walking everyday for at least 30 minutes and have lost some weight since I've started doing it so if you're looking to lose weight then I definitely recommend walking for part of your exercise. I hope this helps!

Q: Hey. I need some advice and you seem like you like helping people out so here i go:

I'm a sophomore and ever since last year, I have liked this guy in my high school and he has liked me back. However, this guy is a player. He goes out with many girls at the same time. He gets over all of them, yet he's never been able to get over me. He always asks me out and I always refuse him. Who would want to go out with a player and get hurt? He promises me that he'll change. Sadly, I caught him making out with another girl the day after. I was devastated. I sent him a letter that told him how I felt. In it I told him how stupid I felt for liking and caring so much about him for such a long time. I also told him I was sick of lies and false promises. I ended it by saying "don't write back or talk to me anymore...leave me alone, you've hurt me enough." That day I came home and started crying. I should feel better now that it's over, but I don't. The thought that he'll never talk to me again makes me sad. Even though he's broken my heart and played me from the very start, I can't help but keep liking him. Should I talk to him again? Should I keep trying to make "us" work out? Please let me know your honest answer.
It really truly sounds like you like this guy a lot and if so, I definitely think you should talk to him again and try to make the relationship work. Try to give him encouragement about changing but don't nag at him, otherwise, he won't listen to you. If he continues to not change the way he's acting then you'll know for sure that he's not the right person for you. It's going to be hard to trust him for a while and maybe for a long time but just try to make it work. I hope this helps and good luck!

Q: Hmm. KK im 134 and im not even 5 feet is that fat. i think im fat. all my frined says that im not but there my friends. and i have been going around and stuff and a normal weight for a 5 foot person is 98-128 hmm i dunno.. paranoid..

Q: Um, I like having sex, I'm not going to lie. But the last time I did, the guy I did it with kind of... made me have anal sex with him. And I tried to say it hurt but he didn't stop. Well, I don't think it's completely your fault. The guy may or may not have heard you so it's partly his fault for not listening. Also, you could have pushed or moved to get out of the way so he would understand that you couldn't take it so in all honesty it sounds like both of you are to blame. I hope this helps!

People on here can be very cruel so I wouldn't worry about it. You shouldn't put yourself down because of this guy's comments. He is just on here to be rude and probably will eventually get himself in trouble. You know what you do and just keep at it don't listen to this guy. I hope I helped!

Q: My best friend and I are like sisters. We've been through everything together. Last night though we were at our other friends house. We talked about school and stuff but then out of no where, my best friend said that she has had sex with her boyfriend of 2 years. It came to a shock to me cause first of all she is only 14 and then second she didnt use protection. My other friend though said it was no big deal since she has been dating him for 2 years. I dont know what to say to my best friend. i really need some help cause i don't want anythin bad to happen to her.
Well, if you and your bestfriend is close then you should definitely be able to tell her how you feel without her getting upset. Just don't nag at her. Let her know some of the consequences in having sex without protection meaning let her know about pregnancy and std's and such. Also, let her know that you're there for her. Q: When I am embarrased or telling a slight fib, (or maybe a bigger fib hehe) I blush! My face turns all red! For example, if someone says "Do you like Josh" and I say "no" (When really I mean yes) I blush, and you can tell I'm lying because I blush! Or when I embarrass myself, like say I fall, but try to make it seem like it didn't bothe me. You can always tell it bothers me b/c I blush! Blushing is soooo embarrasing!! Any tips on how to stop the blushing? (Or is it not possible?)

I'm the same exact way. I blush when I get embarrassed too. There really isn't a way to fix this problem. I always admit that the situation was embarrassing when I can tell I'm blushing because that way it's not that bad. :-D I hope this helps!
