I wouldn't think so, unless your teeth are, like, terrible. I have a 3mm overbite and a rotated tooth, but they said I didn't need braces because my rotated tooth was fixing itself, and the overbite isn't really that much of a problem. It's really kinda up to you, I'd think, but I wouldn't wanna go through all that pain just so my smile could be perfect. Sometimes the beauty is in the flaws. ^_^

It depends. Mine hurt like crap. i couldn't eat anthing for two weeks! That's only because my teeth were really crazy, but I'm just glad they're off and my teeth look better!

YEA!! by the time u get the braces off ur teeth are gonna look GREAT. my friend has braces and even though they can't WAIT to get them off they also can't wait to see how good there thir teeth are gonna look.

Yes they are. Pain only lasts about 2 days after you get them on and you eat soft foods, but its worth it. The only other time it hurts is when the get it tightened but thats not that bad either. I cant wait to see my straight teeth when I get mine off in the spring. Its totally worth it!! Hope I helped!!

Yep, braces are definitely worth it. Once you get your braces, its only gonna hurt for the first few appointments because your orthodontist tightens the wires and your teeth move and causes a little bit of pain. I only had my braces on for a year and a half and now I juts have to wear my retainer to bed until January of 2005. I say yes definetly. When i was younger i had them and a retainer after that i was supposed to wear at night and i didnt wear it and now i regret it! so make sure if you have to get a retainer that you wear it!!! hehe

yes, i have braces and they havent hurt me yet and ive had them for a year now and im getting them of soon. they do help and make u look so much better. just make sure u brush ur teeth correctly.

when i got mine on, they didnt really hurt me. theres just a little pressure but it doesnt last long. as to the money thing....i cant answer that one for you sorry.

yes.they dont really hurt when u get them on.Just like a day later.Try taking a tylenol to help the pain.Hope this helped!Much <33

if you're teeth are very VERY messed up then yes totaly... they hurt alot... i have braces, i've had them for 2 years and it's going to be 3 in september. having nice teeth is something that is going to boost your self esteem and you'll (of course) smile more!! and alot of people are attracted to a nice smile... my mom told me that having a nice smile and nice teeth gets you better jobs because my mom has a great job because of her great smile! so suck it up... get the braces and when they are off... SMILE! hope i helped!!
