Q: I'm thirteen and I am 5'4", and i weigh 100 lbs. I used to be really thin with a nice, flat stomache, and i only weighed 87 lbs. I think the reason I weigh more now is because this year was kind of rocky so I started eating more and mroe junk food to get my mind off of it. I'm much happier now, but I can't get my body to resist the cravings for junk food 24/7. Please give me advice on how to stop junk food cravings.
I can relate to your dilemma, because I was almost the exact height and weight a year ago. My eating habits weren't the greatest and included a lot of junk food so instead of trying to resist cravings, I simply try to take it out of my diet completely. I'd suggest focusing on eating more fruit, it's still sweet, but the natural sugars are of course tons better for your body than those found in junk foods. Also, try exercising more often thatn you do now if you still want to eat junk food all the time. Maybe join a sports team at your school?

Q: i'm 12 and i started my 1st period june 15. i heard u were supposed to get it every 28 days and i'm about a week late if that's the case! could i be pregnant, i mean i havn't had sex, but could i be? plz help!
If you got your first period a little over a month ago, then don't worry about not getting it exactly 28 days later. When you first start your period, it's going to take your body some getting used to and it'll be irregular for the first few months.. at least that's how it was with mine. No need to freak out because you're like any other average girl going through adolescence.

Besides your period being irregular, there's no way you have even a remote chance of getting pregnant if you've never had sex before.

Q: Hey! I'm 20/f if it matters...

Ok my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years, and he recently joined the army. We don't get to see each other much right now because he is stationed on the other side of the country. :( He is leaving for Iraq in a few months, and he is coming home next weekend and will be here for about 3 weeks. It is the last time I will get to see him for a while... he's not coming back home until after spending 6 months in Iraq. While he is home, he is also turning 21! Do you guys have any ideas of what kinds of things I can do for him to make his stay special? we've made plans to go to an amusement park and gambling and of course the usual dinners and movies... but I can't think of more things! HELP!

It doesn't even have to be something that we can do... anything nice, any small surprises, ANYTHING you guys can think of! I'll leave feedback! Thanks soooooooo much!! :)
Since you won't be seeing your boyfriend for awhile, I'd suggest maybe doing some little things that have special meanings for you like maybe recreating your first date. It might help to remind him exactly how much he means to you, and show him that, even if it's a little corny, that you can still remember the times when you were first together. What are some fun things that he likes to do? Even if you may not enjoy it, try doing some things that you KNOW he loves; by sacrificing your comfort for something he really likes to do will show him that you really care about making him happy. Or try something spontaenous that he might never expect, like taking him ice skating, even though it's in the middle of summer. Good luck with your planning and best wishes for your boyfriend's safe return from Iraq.

Q: I love to take pictures for myspace but Im running out of cute ideas for pictures. I love to take artsy pictures for myspace..almost like I have my own little photoshoot. I get all ready and do my hair and makeup and its so much fun. :] So, my question is does any one have any photo ideas that I can do at my house..like my backyard or something?
I know "artsy" pictures are very popular on MySpace right now, but I find them a little too posed for my taste. I find that candid photos of myself or with friends always look the most natural and fun.

Q: Alright well I'm 15/f & if this is helpful live in the midsouth area.
I turn 16 in about 8 months and I am trying to save up for a car.
I can't really get an official job like for example working at a clothes store for a few reasons but the top one is I am not 16. I know I could get a work permit but it is also hard to get hired when your 15. Anyway so 3 questions I am asking... 1) Are there any jobs I could more easily get without so much hassle for the employers? 2) What are some other things I could do & how would I get people to know about it? 3) How are some efficient ways I could save up?
Thanks!
I know it may sound boring and a little more tedious for your job search, but I'd suggest asking relatives and friends of your family that you trust if they have any small jobs you'd be able to help out with. This way, you not only get to work for/with people you already know, but you'll most likely get a fair price for whatever services you provide.

Another idea would be for you to find something you're really good at, whether it be baking or making crafts, but I've found that if you're short on cash and are gifted at a specific thing, turn your talent into a money-maker! If you decide to go this route, try selling to family and friends first.

Some efficient ways to save up would be to put at least half of your earnings into a savings account (or something of the sort) to start earning interest for your future years, and the other half can be spending money.

Q: what does SNM mean? my friends boyfriend used to say it alot and i have no clue what it means.
I believe what you're referring to is S&M, which is an acronym for Sadism & Masochism. It's basically the term used for the practice of using pain as a sexual stimulant.
