how can i be 100% sure that i will not get pregnant
okay im 16/f n im a virigin
ive have known ma man for 3 1/2 years and he really wants to do it and so do i.but im so scared b/c its my 1st time and im so scared of gettin pregnant. he told me that we will use a condom and everything but still im not 100% sure.can anyone tell me how can i be 100% sure that i will not get pregnant.

Like everyone said there is no 100% if your having sex. But a good thing to do is be on a hormonal birth control and use condoms. You can't competely trust them they have broken on me countless times. So use both and maybe even have ur guy pull out before he finishes. You might want to try a birth control other than the pill if you don't think you will remember everyday, such as the shot or patch or whatever. Again there is always a chance, but they will be very small if you do these things.

Well the only true way to NOT get pregnant is to not have sex. That would be the ONLY way to know that you aren't pregnant. With all the other things...there is a bit of a risk...I'm not sure but I think with a condom its either 89%-99% chance that you won't get pregnant...plus the condom could break. There is also the birthday control pill but I think I've heard that the pill has an 80% chance of preventing pregnancy.
The answer to your question would be...if you're really not ready then you're not ready don't rush it...when the time is right you'll know. Maybe think about going on birth control and have him wear a condom as well. To keep yourself from having kids though...it's easy don't have sex!

i would get put on birth control and then use a condom and theres no way u can get pregnant. atleast its never been recorded that both the birth control and the condom failed...as for the condom breaking u wont want him to go fast ur first time so dont worry about it

Don't have sex unless you are 100% ready for it. If you don;t think you are ready then tell him that. A lot of people are scared of getting pregnant, so your not the only one! The only way you can be 100% sure is if your on the pill and he wears a condom but then I'm still not positive if its 100% or like 98%.
And for your second question...the condom can break at any given point for numerous reasons. The condom might be old, might of been in the sun, but condoms break and wear down due to the friction and heat of going in and out.

And for your additional question, no the condom will not break if a man does it fast. But also since your only 16 if your guy really respects you he can wait and so can you because your only 16 and you have your whole life ahead of you to do stuff like that. And no, the condoms break when they are not put on correctly. If there are any air bubbles in the condom then it will be very likely to break open. When/if you go to get birth control ask the doctor or nurse to show you how to correctly put on a condom. Don't just depend on your guy to know. Make sure he does it right!

Because no matter what your taking your NOT 100% safe. Condoms DO brake, But if you really feel he's the guy and your willing to face the consequences....go for it.

Like everyone else said, the only REAL way to be 100% sure is to just not have sex.
But if you DO want to have sex, you can still be pretty certain. You could try to get on birth control. Call you local Planned Parenthood. They might be able to give you information or places where you can get information.
If you can't go on the pill, condoms are pretty certain. I've heard success rates as high as 97%.

But if you let them no you are a student, you will probably get the stuff for free or the most they will hcarge you is like $10. But hey $10 a month beats an embarrassing argument with your parents or even worse having to tell them your pregnant. Point blank: if you want to be pretty positive about not getting pregnant, use Birth control.
