So, no one asked me to JR/SR (our school's version of prom). As a junior, I went by myself last year and hung out with my friend (a girl) who went solo as well. It wasn't especially fun because the couples sort of isolated themselves from the singles. This year, I don't really want to go by myself but the only other girl in my class who is going by herself is "going" with a girl in the JR class and then meeting up with another girl and guy in my class who are going together as a couple. But, the JR girl and the guy in my class are then coupling up b/c they like each other. So, if I went with them, I would kind of being a third(or fifth) wheel. And, the only two or three guys in my class who I don't know for sure have dates are probably going together. And, I would rather the guy ask than the girl for the sake of keeping tradition. It would be awkward to go with 2 or 3 guys as a group with me being the only girl. So, anyways, my question is: Would it be weird for me to take my cousin who is in 9th grade but is actually only 2 years younger than me to the event? He's really outgoing and fun; the only complication is that his sister is in my class. We're friends and everything, but she's much more of a social butterfly than I am and I don't want to take the spotlight from her. Also, I don't want other people to think I'm weird. Should I tell a lot of people or wait and show up with him? (He also told me it's been his dream to go to JR/ SR all four years.) (link)

I wish there wasn't so much pressure to get a date for prom, but unfortunately there is. It's a huge deal for one night and people make themselves miserable trying to arrange things.
To be honest, people will most likely think it is very weird that you take your cousin to prom. Kids are cruel and you will be talked about.
I suggest trying to find someone who has a friend from another school that you can take, or just go solo and tag along with a group of friends. Don't stress about it, because honestly people are too concerned with their own situation to notice who your date is.

I don't typically have that bad of skin, I will break out a bit around the week before my period starts and the rest of the month my skin is typically pretty clear. I use a soap free cleanser daily and during break outs use a salicylic acid spot treatment, the same as I've been using for months.
Around three weeks ago my boyfriend and I were together the day after he had shaven, so his face was pretty rough, and afterwards the skin around my mouth and particularly my chin were pretty raw.
Ever since then my chin has been breaking out like crazy and it's getting pretty bad. I've been using my spot treatment but it seems like the blemishes keep coming even as others heal. I'm 20 years old and went through puberty long enough ago that this could not be related.
My questions:
Could this be related to my cleanser change I made around 6 months ago even though I saw no worsening until this incident?
Is it from my boyfriend's stubble? Would it be from the physical irritation or possibly chemical of some kind? (like maybe his shave gel?)
How can I make the breakouts stop now that they've started?
How can I prevent this in the future? (other than not making out right after he shaves?) (link)

The cleanser change from six months ago probably isn't the issue. Neither is your boyriends stubble, but I'm sure the roughness irritated the area. I would ask him if he used any new face products lately, you could have had a reaction to that.Or maybe it was a random occurence.

The signs of guys going through puberty include:
-Getting taller
-Growing facial hair
-Growing more body hair
-Voice growing deeper
-Getting a more muscular build
Guys don't have to wear tampons or pads. They can experience wet dreams or erections during puberty, but thats as close to a girl having her period as I can think of.

Fake nails aren't usually sharp, natural finger nails can actually break the skin if they aren't filed.
I think it wouldn't hurt them, just be careful not to dig the nail into the person.
As for how to finger someone, my best advice is to start out slow, explore their body, and pay attention to what they like. You want to look for the clitoris, which is the pleasure spot of the vagina. It is located near the top above the lips, and can be hard to find but feels sort of like a little ball. That might be a bad description!
Trial and error is the best way, most people learn by trying new things and seeing what works.

They have some other options for periods.
They have 'sponges', which you insert in your vagina and then have to remove, and rinse out. I assume this can get a little messy and isn't convienant when you are at a public bathroom and want to rinse it out in the sink.
They also have cups, or Diva Cups. http://www.divacup.com/
They are soft, flexible cups that you insert into the vagina. It collects the blood and says it can last for tweleve hours with no leakage. You have to dump the contents of the cup and wash it out after use.
I've never used either of these methods, but you could look into it.
When I first got my period, I wasn't comfortable with tampons or pads. Pads felt like diapers and for a long time I couldn't get a tampon in and it hurt. I looked into other ways, but honestly tampons were most convienant and easiest to get. After you get used to it, they aren't uncomfortable anymore.

You are probably allergic to latex condoms, so try to buy non-latex. Also, be careful if there are any lubricants on the condoms, that can cause a reaction.

Ok so I'm 12 and I have a new baby sister. And I will have just put her to sleep when something like this will happen(true story): Ok so I have just have put her to sleep when my older then me sister come's in laugh at something that's not funny. At all. And she's laughing very very LOUD. and she has seen that baby trying to sleep. And she know that I have been trying to make this girl sleep. Refuse. You are twelve, not a mother! It is your mom's job to take care of the baby. Just say NO. Your mom may get mad at you, but she has a baby to care for so she won't even have time to focus on that.

I thanked a bunch of my teachers for writing me letters of reccommendation for college by using thank you cards. I would get a thank you card from the store versus a letter type note because it is more formal and appropriate.
I would start off with
Dear So and So (use the name you call them in person),
I want to thank you so much for tutoring me in (the subject). You really helped me improve/raise my grades/ feel more confident at school/get into college.
If you have a funny story/joke that you too share, include it to make your note more personal.
Be sincere, but don't fluff it up too much. You can say "I couldn't have done it without you" if you truly mean that.
I appreciate everything and wish you the best. I hope we stay in touch.

I gave my teachers giftcards to a restaurant because I knew them both pretty well and they both spent many hours outside of school helping me. You could include a small gift like a book/bookstore giftcard, a holiday gift item like a cute mug filled with hot cocoa mix, etc.

Please enjoy this time in your life! Now that I am older, I miss times where guys didn't expect you to do sexual things. You have the rest of your life to do that, there is no rush now.
Your body is young and not fully developed, so you won't enjoy fingering or sex as an older woman would. And your young boyfriend probably won't know how to do it so you can enjoy it.
If you're scared, you absolutely shouldn't do it. Like I said, there is no rush. You should feel completely comfortable, or you will regret it.
If your boyfriend tries to do anything, stop him and tell him you just arent ready. Say it has nothing to do with him, you just don't feel right about it yet. If he REALLY loves and cares about you, he will accept that answer and wait until you are ready. If he tries to push you, he is only in the relationship for the sex.

Hey Im 16 and a senior in highschool. I met this guy in an interschool competition. He's the same age but is a senior in some other school. We started talking after the competition and became good friends. We have gone out on three dates till now. And yeah, we have kissed each other and made out a little. To me, it sounds like this guy is a player.
He tells you he loves you, hold hands, ACTS like the typical couple, but won't give it a title. That means he wants the option and the freedom to date other people.
I would step back, and make him miss you.
Don't talk to him every day. Don't act like a couple. Hang out with other people and make sure he knows! If he asks why, tell him because you aren't in an official relationship, you don't have to act like it.
If he likes you, he will be scared by you not being super affectionate to you. He will want to make you his girlfriend.
Don't let him lead you on or play with you. Stand firm. Besides, you WILL end up getting hurt if he acts like this and then you see him with another girl, even if you two aren't official.

Models wear heels that make them well over 6 feet tall. That being said, if you are just walking around town I wouldn't wear high heels because you would look out of place. If you have an event to go to, and look very chic and polished, go for it.

Sperm cannot travel through your panties and then up into your vagina and up into the vaginal canal. It is virtually impossible. I don't think you are pregnant, but please ALWAYS use a condom if you plan on having sex. Pulling out isn't effective.

I have been out of work almost 6 months, I am 20/F and only ever worked in retail. Just because you can't drive (which you didn't mention by the way) and you don't have confidence, doesn't mean you need to rate me poorly. Those are YOUR problems and lack of motivation, not my lack of good advice.
Ever thought about selling Avon or Mary Kay? At least you would be your own boss and control the income you got. Since you live in a small town, you probably know people pretty well and could convince them to buy from you.
If you want a more conventional job, I would look outside of the town, even if you have to drive further then you would like.
If you are good at writing, maybe you could apply to be a clerk at a newspaper office or something like that.

I just did a paper on him....he preached the concept of Utilitarianism, which means do what is good for the majority. I consider that still in use today.
I would try to read some of his works...they aren't the easiest to understand though.
