Philisophy of John Stuart Mill

Question Posted Sunday October 9 2011, 12:47 pm

How did John Stuart Mill contribute to society.. like which of his philosophies would probably still be relevant/helpful today? If you guys give me some ideas I'll reasearch them myself of course, I'm not looking for any answers here, just some suggestions. Thanks so much.

I just did a paper on him....he preached the concept of Utilitarianism, which means do what is good for the majority. I consider that still in use today.

I would try to read some of his works...they aren't the easiest to understand though.
