Aaagh!! Yes it hurts a ton, whether it's a boy or girl, one time I got all dressed up to go on a date with my boyfriend for our anniversary, I dyed my hair, got a new dress and got my nails done, I got fake nails with french tips, my boyfriend and I got into it and I ended up having to snap my nails off, during foreplay not only did I hurt him I hurt myself. Buy we recovered, bottom line, they don't feel really nice.

Fake nails aren't usually sharp, natural finger nails can actually break the skin if they aren't filed.
I think it wouldn't hurt them, just be careful not to dig the nail into the person.
