aDoRkAbLe_Co0kIe_ answered Friday September 24 2004, 6:16 pm: ok well when u do get it you totally wanna wear tampons in any water (unless the bath/shower...then it is totally fine to go without) pads would just get all soggy and wouldnt catch the blood but a tampon would stop the blood (just like a pad when outside of water)....inserting a tampon doesnt hurt either...just follow the instructions on the box and RELAX....relaxing is the key.. MissJ1414 answered Tuesday June 1 2004, 8:28 am: If your swimming you wear tampons hun. Because of your age I would get some little thin ones so you won't be uncomfortable. You know you can also talk to your mom. [ MissJ1414's advice column | Ask MissJ1414 A Question ]
Giselle answered Saturday May 29 2004, 6:33 pm: If you're going to get in the water, while on your period, you will NEED to wear tampons. Don't wear the tampon any longer than 2 hours, because that Might cause an infection. [ Giselle's advice column | Ask Giselle A Question ]

Crystal_0408 answered Saturday May 22 2004, 7:12 pm: You shouldnt be in the water on your first day of your period anytime at all. I would suggest you use tampons, but if you are in the water you wouldnt leak. [ Crystal_0408's advice column | Ask Crystal_0408 A Question ]
Siren_Cytherea answered Saturday May 22 2004, 5:55 pm: Tampons. Pads are both uncomfortable and sort of pointless in the water. Tampons plug up the flow so nothing gets out, whereas pads just catch the blood, which is pointless in water. It'd just seep out. So, tampons. ^_^ [ Siren_Cytherea's advice column | Ask Siren_Cytherea A Question ]
ArisuStarr answered Saturday May 22 2004, 3:18 pm: Most pads will also fall apart in the water, which can be VERY embarassing.
If you wear a tampon, there's no way to tell...but you DO have to make sure the string's out of sight, lest everyone know you're on your period. [ ArisuStarr's advice column | Ask ArisuStarr A Question ]
GC_rox_my_sox answered Saturday May 22 2004, 2:34 pm: You have to wear tampons, because a pad will show through your bathing suit and swell up like a baby's diaper. It's not fun. No one can tell if you wear a tampon, but make sure to tuck the string into your bathing suit. It's very embarrassing if you don't. [ GC_rox_my_sox's advice column | Ask GC_rox_my_sox A Question ]
