Go for your best friend, deffffffinatley. It's true that if things don't work out, it could make your friendship weird, but if will DEFFINATLEY make the friendship weird if you go for his friend. He'll think "Well we've been best friends forever, why doesn't she like me?" And best friend relationships usually do work out because you already know everything about the person, except now there's kissing and hand holding and stuff involved. So yeah, go with your best friend.

hey i wear contacts and i really want colored ones..but im not sure what color would look good on me..is there any way to try it out without buying them first..? Oh and if you think you know a good color..please let me know..I am indian with tan skin..dark brown hair and i have dark brown eyes! thanks!

Green would look beautiful on you. I know there are certain computer programs that let you take a picture of yourself and see how different colors would look (they also do stuff like how different kinds of hair and makeup would look) so you might want to get one of them.

i guess this might be a stupid question, but something kind of depresses me. my boyfriend asked me last night would it be okay if he spent new years with his guys this year. he said that him and i spent the last 2 new years together and he wants to hang with his friends. ofcourse i said yeah, because im not the controling type. well, even though i said yes, it makes me a little sad knowing that he doesnt want to spend it with me. its like, why cant i chill with his friends too? its not like i never had. do any of you guys think i should tell him how i feel? or do any of you think that im wrong for feeling the way i feel?

I don't think you're wrong to feel that way, but I think you should keep it to yourself. He did spend the last 2 new years with you. And when guys hang out alone, they can do stuff that they can't do with girls around. Like they feel more comfortable and don't have to worry about upsetting you. I'm not saying your overly sensitive, that's just how guys see girls and it really isn't going to change. Why don't you hang out with your girl friends on new years? If you've spent the past 2 with your guy, that means you haven't spent it with them. You'll have fun.

Sorry it's so long, but I think I might to need to tell a teacher or somebody, can you help me?

A friend told me earlier today, she made me pinky swear that I wouldn't tell a guidence counciler or anything... well she told me she's cutting, or like that she wants to start.
Then by 3rd period... 3rd block, whatever you call it, she said she talked to a friend and said that she decided she doesn't want to cut... I don't think she started, just she talked about wanting to cut, and she said she was suicidal, because she couldn't stand living with her mom, her parents are divorced, and he mom won't let her live with her dad, and her mom won't go to court & let her choose what she wants to do.

Can she change her mind from being suicidal, to having talked to somebody that fast, or should I tell one of my teachers... I have a teacher that I know I can tell anything to. What she made me promise is not to tell anyone, like from guidence or anything.

So what I'm asking is

1.)Is she really over it?

2.)Would I be breaking the promise (I don't care if I am or not, I just want to know if I'm breaking it. if I tell the teacher I mean.)

3.)And Should I tell the teacher?

(she told me around 7am, then around 12ish she told me she talked to a friend and won't cut, and doesn't think she's suicidal. She seemed happy when she told me.)

If she got over it that quickly, she probably wasn't serious about it in the first place. Maybe she was just having one of those days where everything seemed bad, then she realized her life isn't as bad as most people's. If it were me, I wouldnt' worry about it.

Have you ever seen The Parent Trap? The girl screams when she gets her sister to pierce her ear with a hot needle. When you get it done professionally, they use a special machine, so unless you have that machine, it will hurt. A LOT.

on a minimum, how much are u supossed to drink daily?

8 cups is what they say, but if you drink that much, you'll just be bloated and have to pee a lot. I think 4 is plenty. Even that might be too much.

ok ..im 14/f and one of my best friends is 14/m..he doesnt go to my school...although lives in the district and i seem him here and there...hes been askin me how to ask a girl out..and i kept telling him to be himself..he just wont listen to me on that part advice...and he kepts telling me to put myself in that position..and i said "no" then he said "well its not hard 4 u ur a girl" and i said "its hard 4 us as well..bc we have to turn down guys we dont like"..and i dk how to tell just to be himself..bc he wont listen to that...and he a few days ago he asked me "how do i ask a girl out and not get turned down??"..and im like idk its not something predictable...and he goes to a private school..and i go to public school..so i have no clue who this girl is..if i did ..i would have asked her if she liked him..but i dk ....so im pointless at this point...im suppose to go to the movies see him later today w/ one of our best friends..who goes to my school..who used lived down the street from him...so can u help me? -thx in advance *i rate*

Well, since he doesn't want to be himself, maybe he should try to do something to impress her. If it works, then he should go talk to her, then try being himself. Because if he feels like he can't be himself around her, than it's not meant to be between the two of them.

Mkay.. im 13 and i am really falling in love with my boyfriend. Like i want to be with him for the rest of my life and ive never felt this way before. How do i know if this is really true love? Is it to eairly to have a serious relationship?

p.s. my aunt found her true love in Jr.High. they got married so maybe it will happen to me!

I know a couple who started going out when they were 13, and it's been almost a year and they are still together. It depends on how long you've going out. If you've only been going out for 1 or 2 months, it's too early to be thinking about marriage. If it's been 1 or 2 years, then I think you are in a serious relationship. Don't mention marriage to him though. He might get freaked out and run away. Wait for him to mention it.

So basically, yes, I think it could be true love.

Hey everybody! My best friend Brooke's mom died last year of ALL (actute lymphoblastic lukemia) she died on October 17th which would be this Saturday. On is the year anniversary of her mom's death and i wanted to do something special for Brooke to show her i care... any suggestions on something i could get her or ne thing i could say? i would really appreciate it!! and i rate every1!

My opinion is that you shouldn't mention it. I know that if someone close to me dies, I don't like to think about it. I try to continue my life as normally as I can. If someone tried to do something special for me on the one year anniversary, it would just upset me. Brooke is going to be upset on that day anyway, so I suggest that when you see her, if she seems upset, give her a hug and say that she's very brave for getting through this. IF SHE WANTS TO, offer do go to the cemetary with her to visit her mother's grave. After that, go out for ice cream.

PS: October 17th is a Sunday.

My friend katie and lisa and this other girl carly, were waiting after practice for their rides and carly had Katies cell phone and she threw it on lisa to get her to pay attention. Since Lisa wasn't paying attention, she didn't catch it, so it bounced off her stomach and hit the ground and it kinda broke, some pieces came off and the front is all messed up. Carly acted liek it was nothing, and didn't really apologize. My questions are:
1. Do you think Carly should pay a small price to get it fixed or for consulation? Or have her apologize.
2. If so, how should katie approach her and ask for either money or an apology?

Carly should have to pay for it, because it was her fault it broke. It was stupid to throw a delicate thing like a cell phone. I think Katie should say "Hey Carly, remember when you broke my phone? Well, it costs kind of a lot to repair it, and my parents are going to make me pay for it with my own money. I was really hoping to save up to buy something with my money, so do you think you could pay for the repairs?".

my friend got her braces off like 3 months ago and she never wears her retainer and shes like well its not like there gonna make me get braces again or something. has anyone ever had to GET THEM AGAIN or know someone who had to get them again? thanx

I have braces, and the goal of having braces is to get your teeth to a 90 to 95 degree angle. As long as your friend doesn't suck her thumb or something like that, she won't need them again. Not to mention that braces cost about $3000, and I don't think her parents would want to pay all that again just to fix some minor problems that would come from not wearing a retainer.

Hey, does anyone have some cute suggestions as far as accesorizing? Things i probably wouldnt have to go out and buy for. Like just cute things to do with a belt, or a cute way to turn things around a bit??

Make some cute armwarmers out of pretty socks.

You will need:

One pair of pretty socks (they should be longer than regular socks, but if you can't find long socks, then cute stockings (especially fishnets) will work

scissors

1) Put the sock over your arm, and pull it up as far as you want the arm warmers to go. You should probably pull them up to about you elbow.

2) Cut the sock wear your wrist is. If you want thumbholes, cut it where your fingers start. If you don't want thumbholes, then you're done.

3) For thumbholes (this is optional) mark where your thumb is, then make a TINY hole. Force your thumb through the hole so it will be the perfect size.

Okay so I met this guy online like a couple weeks ago or so. And I really feel like I'm falling for him, I love him so much. Do you think this is crazy or actually possible that I can be in love with him?

I don't think it's possible to love someone you've never met. When you love someone, you share experiences, like holding hands, going to the movies, laughing with each other, and stuff like that. Seeing someone type "lol" on the computer is not the same as hearing them laugh. That's just my opinion.

And just a heads up, but one of my friends thought that she loved a guy she met online, so she gave him her phone number, and now he calls her a lot and asks her to have phone sex with him.

OMG all my friends (in my age range ~14~) say its okay and that they dont think its bad to have sex at this age and half of them like, arent virgins!! I just relaized this today but i think having sex at this age is just plain stupid!! Am i weird or crazy? IS it okay to have sex at my age?!!

I don't think it's terrible. Most 14 year olds are smart enough to know that sex makes babies, and that you need to use condoms. I think that if you have a steady boyfriend that you have been going out with for a long time, and you REALLY love him and he REALLY loves you back, then there's nothing wrong with it.

Okay I have this friend and she has been my friend for about a year. Anyway she is like always bugging me she never shuts up and she always bugs me and my boyfriend. She is always trying to get us to do things, and she makes us on the sims 2 and made me get pregnant on the game and him have an affair with the maid. I mean she is a really good friend but she is always like butting in to our relationship and it gets on me and my boyfriends nerves. I just wish that she could but out of me and my boyfriends relationship. My boyfriend thinks that she likes to try to make us do stuff because she can't get a boyfriend.

You should hook her up with a guy, that way, she would be too busy with her own relationship to butt into yours. If no guys at your school will go out with her, then try to fix her up with guys from other schools. If none of those work, then don't tell her when you're going to hang out with your boyfriend.

OK on Friday I'm going to my boyfriends away game. His mom is driving me there with her and I know im going to be so nervous. Try to sound smart, but not smarter than her. She'll probably ask what you're doing in school. Whatever you do, don't say nothing. Tell her what your doing in 2 or 3 subjects, don't tell her your whole schedule. MOST OF ALL be polite. This is VERY important, especially if it's the first time your meeting her. When she picks you up, thank her taking you to the game, and when she drops you off, thank her again.

I was in a similar situation. I talked to him online and a little bit in school, and it turned out he liked me. I heard this from a couple of reliable sources (I heard from his friends, and he told some of my friends, who then told me) but he never asked me to be his girlfriend. I think that if you like him, you should make the first move.

okay, I want to get a cell phone, and I have the money to buy one, but my mom said that she won't pay for the bill, so I was thinking of getting the minute cards, because I babysit a lot, just I don't babysit regularly, and I don't have a job, so pretty much I was wondering where I could get minute cards and maybe how much they are

You can get minute cards at lots of places. First, try the store that you bought your cell phone at, they will deffinatley have them. I know that Staples and other office supply stores have them, and some grocery stores (if they have them, they will probably be near the checkouts). Also check gas stations and conveinience marts. Just so you know, the cost is about 50 cents a minute, and you can buy cards with 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 100 minutes, so the cost is different depending on what kind of card you buy.
