So that way you have subjects to talk about in the car if it gets quiet. Also be really polite and be reallly calm. Try your best not to get nervous it might be hard but just try. If she ask you some questions about school and stuff try to make your answers short but not to short. Also try to keep a conversation going. piink_x0_shad0w answered Wednesday September 29 2004, 7:00 pm: Try to sound calm, just be yourself and act like nothing is bothering you. If you say anything dumb try to cover it up but laughing or something and when you talk to her look her straight in the eyes so she knows your not scared.
GC_rox_my_sox answered Wednesday September 29 2004, 6:41 pm: Try to sound smart, but not smarter than her. She'll probably ask what you're doing in school. Whatever you do, don't say nothing. Tell her what your doing in 2 or 3 subjects, don't tell her your whole schedule. MOST OF ALL be polite. This is VERY important, especially if it's the first time your meeting her. When she picks you up, thank her taking you to the game, and when she drops you off, thank her again. [ GC_rox_my_sox's advice column | Ask GC_rox_my_sox A Question ]
Underpaidhobo answered Wednesday September 29 2004, 5:35 pm: Talk about that movie the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Women just bond over that stupid movie and I don't understand it at all. If a girlfriend of mine ever tells my mom she likes the movie they instantly become best friends. That Freakin' movie... [ Underpaidhobo's advice column | Ask Underpaidhobo A Question ]

Just keep really quiet and dont giggle too much. Just talk like a really simple manner such as
"hello ma'am"
"thanks for picking me up"
"how was your day?"
like simple stuff, i know its pretty intense to be with you boyfriends mother alone..but just try to keep calm. dont think about it. think about you just being in there with her for 30 mins in the car or something. lol. <3
