outdo the outfit
Hey, does anyone have some cute suggestions as far as accesorizing? Things i probably wouldnt have to go out and buy for. Like just cute things to do with a belt, or a cute way to turn things around a bit??
*i want suggestions i can use tomorrow, and i wont be hitting stores, so maybe make things apply a little more universal*

well me and mi best friend amanda just started this new thing where the buckles of our belts are on the side... as soon as everyone noticed it they thought it was totally cute!! maybe u can try that!

Make some cute armwarmers out of pretty socks.
You will need:
One pair of pretty socks (they should be longer than regular socks, but if you can't find long socks, then cute stockings (especially fishnets) will work
scissors
1) Put the sock over your arm, and pull it up as far as you want the arm warmers to go. You should probably pull them up to about you elbow.
2) Cut the sock wear your wrist is. If you want thumbholes, cut it where your fingers start. If you don't want thumbholes, then you're done.
3) For thumbholes (this is optional) mark where your thumb is, then make a TINY hole. Force your thumb through the hole so it will be the perfect size.
Yeah, it sounds kind of stupid, but I tried it this morning and now I have an awesome pair of armwarmers.

you can take the most ugliest and most hideous things and make tham fab and chic. get a plain old black belt you have and paste rinestones on them to make them say your zodiac sign, your name or anything. do that to anything. rinestones are in. get a tee shirt you never wear and is cute and spunk it. cut it into a halter. make it a tanktop. add rinestones to some things too. these things are so fum to make just use ur imagination.

hmm. maybe you can like tie a ribbon in ur hair lol or like..if u have hemp or like..string make a bracelt or type a colorful string around ur neck to make a choker. Maybe you can add like studs to pants or a belt...ah idk im not creative haha..hope that heleped

The best thing to do is take a trip up to your attic or basement--especially if you've lived in your house for a long time. Things you may have passed by a thousand times before may be the most awesome thing yet!
Look for an old belt, vintange sunglasses ( I found my favorite pair in an old box of my mom's high school collections) or just random, crazy fabrics that could be used as a belt or hair piece. Sometimes your old hair scrunchies will look just right with that outfit. You'll be suprised at all the cool things you've walked right by and never even noticed!
If you are moving often, or you just can't seem to find anything appealing, try cutting up some of your old shirts ( with your parents permission) and experiment with them. Cut off the sleeves of an old turtleneck and wear them with a t-shirt. Rummage through old jewlery and kid necklaces, you'll be suprised!
