Guys don't have periods like girls do (they don't have a uterus or vagina) they have boy parts. Only girls have periods - not guys. This is because only females can become pregnant. Boys don't bleed like girls do but they do go through puberty. Some of the changes are the same as girls and some are different because they are male and us girls are female.

No guys don't wear pads or tampons because they don't bleed. Girls do because like I said girls have periods and periods are part of the female reproductive system.

Some of the main changes in boys are:

~The body grows taller.
~The body grows broader (the shoulders and chest, in paticular, grow bigger).
~The body may sweat more.
~Hair may become more greasy.
~Skin may become more greasy and spots may develop.
~Hair starts to grow under the arms, on the legs, in the pubic area around the base of the penis, on the face, and sometimes on the chest.
~The voice starts to get deeper (though it may be a bit squeaky to begin with).
~The penis and testicles become bigger, and sperm start to be produced.

Sperm are the male reproductive cells, in the same way that the eggs in a woman's ovary are the female reproductive cells. If these two cells meet inside a woman then a baby might be made. Guys also have things called wet dreams, ejaculation and erections.

Boys don't have periods only girls do. Boys don't have the same problems with puberty as girls do as they do not suffer the physical changes girls do. Boys do suffer growing pains more than girls do as they grow taller than girls and seem to do so in spurts.

The changes boys go through are:

Getting taller
Growing facial hair
Growing more body hair, also pubic and under arm
Voice growing deeper
Getting a more muscular build
able to produce semen

Your question is a good one because many other young people wonder the same thing. First, only females have periods and use pads, tampons for menstruation. Boys don't nor do they wear anything or bleed from any orafice.

In boys the major changes are in voices cracking before they become a deeper adult voice, pubic hair in underarms and private areas that a bathing suit covers, growth spurts until the end of puberty where full adult height is reached, facial hair. From a physical standpoint the testes are able to produce sperm. That's pretty much the changes in males.

The signs of guys going through puberty include:

-Getting taller
-Growing facial hair
-Growing more body hair
-Voice growing deeper
-Getting a more muscular build

Guys don't have to wear tampons or pads. They can experience wet dreams or erections during puberty, but thats as close to a girl having her period as I can think of.

oh my i have seen these answers and im shocked at what some say. Guys don't have periods like us girls do. SOME NOT ALL BUT SOME guys do have a wet dream, and yes they begin to grow facial hair as mustaches and beards, chest hair underarm hair, and pubic hair. They also start to get acne, some guys have it worser then others. In different religions the male gets circumsiced(hope i spelled that right) as an acknowlegement of them entering manhood. Guys also experience voice changes the younger they are thier voices tend to be higher and the older they get u can notice thier voice getting deeper. if u have a younger brother or one about to become a teen just watch the voice sometimes its kinda funny to hear thier voice crack. lol

Don't be certain, Chandler! :-|

Guys just have wet dreams, hair grows (here and there, and everywhere) and their penis grows.

It IS unfair.

And like Chandler said, it's better to talk to your parents. Or some teacher you trust.
