What should I do about my dad threatening to kill my mom?

My dad and my mom have always had a ton of problems in their marriage. He's an addict and has never been a good father to all 4 of us kids. He's barley even acknowledged that were his. He lives in our house but he's just a stranger to me. He and my mom have gotten into horrible screaming fights and he's even gotten physical before. He's tried to choke her many times. Just today he threw her across the room and threatend " if you ever take me to court or try to get a divorce I will crush you and kill you". He's also bipolar and has anger issues which is why I'm terrified that he will just snap one day and get angry enough to kill her. Computer virus,encrypted all of my files

Hi.I got the computer virus that says it has e crypted all of your files and you gotta pay up.A technician is going to come check it out soon but i wanted to ask since i dont know anything about compuers.I have a hard disk,all of my photos are on it,will those files be encrypted too? those photos are my life please help me i am freaking out.thank you.

I got the virus saying "all your files have been incrypted" and i am freaking out.ill get a computer specialist but i need to ask you smth.i got all my photos on a hard disc connected to the computer.have those files been encrypted as well? any tips? thank you

so I broke up with my GF over 8 months ago, she's moved on, living with someone now. I only found this out 2 weeks ago. We all 3 happen to work at the same place, although we rarely if ever see one another. I'm finding myself becoming obsessed with them. What are they doing, are they together, where are they. I hate doing these things, but, like I said it's really becoming an obsession. HELP! How do I stop this unhealthy behavior?

Guys T-T I filed this under Abusive Relationships because I feel so tormented.
I have a bestfriend, and I love him, he always says he loves me back. We've been bestfriends for nine years. Then she came along.

Hi,
I'm usually pretty good at giving advice, but this I can't help myself with. I'm 13 and I just got transferred to a new place. I've been here for two months now. As many people here are teens they love to act all grown up and I'm not comfortable with the kind of things they do and the language they use, so I'm not friends with anyone, I tried to adjust and get used to them but without a friend I just can't manage. I'm kind of shy but I can make friends easily, but no one is like me (a little kiddish and crazy) everyone loves to act all grown up. I am an American citizen married to a Mexican citizen, and I live in Mexico City. I work as an English teacher and am very happy with my job and have great friends here. The problem is my marriage of 4 years. My husband is a serial cheater and liar. He has taken money from me, and has racked up so much debt that we have lost our house. I'm 16, homeschooled girl from USA.
My best friends birthday is next month and I want to do something special for her. I've known her my whole life but we really got really close in 7th grade and we've been inseparable since.(I mean see each other almost everyday and do everything together.She even says I'm the only person she can tolerate being around for long periods of time)

hi.so im trying to figure out my activity level so that i can calculate how much to eat and theres sedentary,moderately active and active.im not sedentary.i walk 4-5 days every week for 1hour and 30 mins at a very fast speed,and i do 10km hikes saturday and sunday. is that considered moderately active or? i tried looking it up on google but every site said different things and confused me.thanks for the help :)

excruciating pain in my stomach on the right

Hi my name is Ciara I'm 21 and for about the past 6-8 months every one day out of the months I experience excruciating pain in my stomach on the right side right by my ribs and hurts so bad my back aches at the same time it makes it impossible to lay down sleep at all I'm not sure what I should do. I do however have back problems already and probably eat a lot of spicy food what can be causing this and should I seek a doctor soon
