I finally updated my picture, I thought it was time for an update on it so I picked my favorite picture. After all, my previous picture was almost 2 and a half years old!
My name is Ryan. And I will answer most everything you want to ask to the best of my God given ability.But I will not sugar coat any answer and I will give MY advice. I don't care about my ratings, so don't think giving me a 1 for an answer you don't want to hear will scare me. And if you already know what you should do about a sitaution, don't come to us here at advicenators asking for a second opinion. And here below is a list of questions you should NOT ask on advicenators. Granted some of them may vary and be acceptable, but overall don't ask the below questions on Advicenators.
**Don't ask questions like "OMG i heard this song on the radio with "insert pointless pop lyrics here" and i wanna know what it is so what is it! Thanks!! I rate 5sssss! hearts". This question can be simply googled with the lyrics, or you need only ask a friend
**Don't ask "ok so there is the hott guy/gal in my class and he/she like got me a *insert gift or simple trinket here* do you think he/she likes me?" This is the most common question here on this website sadly. Unless it is vitally important and actually pertains to a feeling of true feelings, don't ask it. This is most asked by teens. And what teens need to learn is "love" is not thinking a guy/girl is sweet and hott and nice. I know love, and it is so far from all those things. Remember Cicero when he said "Out of all the emotions, love is the most violent. Love is madness."
**"Ok so me and my boyfriend had sex last night and we like used no protection omg he came in me do you think i am pregnant?" Ugh. Stupid teens and their hormones. IF YOU HAVE SEX YOU ALWAYS RUN THE RISK OF PREGNANCY, UNLESS YOUR STERILE. And if you don't know anything about sex, you shouldn't be doing it. Even if you "love" your partner, half the time this is a disallusion and you will end up hurt. Sex is for marriage.
**Or asking what's "in" for fashion, or what they should wear out tonight. Or what is "cute" and what looks good. Pick and choose for yourself what you like, think for yourself instead of trying to let other people do it for you. Stand up and be yourself.
These are the most common questions I have seen on Advicenators. Now there are a few questions that are very good questions and deserve the 3 rating and the best answer possible. But they are usually blocked out with the kinds of questions listed above. If you want to ask something, check the following off that I am listing.
1.Does the question pertain to anything important or trivial?
2.Is proper grammar used?
3.Is the question long and in one paragraph?
4.Is it a question that you yourself can answer?
5.Is there enough detail?
Following those 5 guidelines, you can write a good 3 point answer. That about wraps it up.
I spend alot of time online and here on advicenators, so if you ever need anything then just send something in my inbox or IM me. I'm not opposed to helping people at all, in fact I love doing it. I just want some people to wake up from asking a stupid question.

SORRY THIS IS LONG BUT IM FREAKED OUT!!
well in all my pictures i have a little white smudge. its usually by my head. and when people come over they are always like "whoa i just saw a flash out of the corner of my eye!" and i se it sometimes too, and i dont tell them about it so they cant know that i also see it. and it hasnt recently started. its been like that for as long as i can remember. and sometimes things move unexplained around me, like things laying on the floor with nothing around it, once my computer chair rolled back while i was sittingin it, that freaked me out alot. windows shut and open. could a spirit be attatched to me? im a skeptic just like many and ive resorted to thinking theres a spririt attatched to me. ive eliminated all other logical explanations, like camera faultiness, or wind blowing or things like that and most of the time it makes no sense.
this is scaring me, tell me what you all know!

Simply put, ghosts aren't real.
The idea of a ghost is to explain something that normally could not be explained through natural means, so a supernatural answer is needed.
It's all based on perception. Your mind will automatically assume the worst when it comes to the unknown. Truth to be told there are unexplained events that we have no true answer to yet. But for what it's worth, ghosts and the supernatural are nothing more than perceptions formed in your mind through prior experience and ideas.
I wouldn't worry about it.

If you want a summary, try wikipedia.com and search for the title.
As for my thoughts on it, I liked it by far the best simply because of all the running that Harry and company have to do because they are all hunted. It gives a feeling that it is a "now or never" type of fight. Speaking of fights, the ending fight at Hogwarts was one of the best I've read.
Of course, I also got to read the book, so I was almost unsure of if it was the real thing. But it was and in the end I was enormously pleased with it.

The Exercist is an increadibly disturbing movie, and if you watch it...make sure you watch the Directors Cut, as it has the subliminal pictures that was removed for the theatrical release (it appears for less than a second..and I can assure you it's quite unpleasent).
I would also recommend the movie Dead Silence (as a personal preferance). Although it was something of a low-par horror movie..it is actually quite scary (especially those with a fear of dolls).
But don't just go for the "boo!" kind of scary where something jumps out at you...go for the psychological and disturbing horror movies. After all, that is what a horror movie is supposed to do, disturb and disrupt the viewer. The new horror movies coming out these days just want to shock audiences.
I would also recommend any of the Horrorfest movies, especially the film Unrest.

I've never visited it though, because it was closed for my time in D.C.

Like it has been said before, it's a personal belief.
However, just for a moment I would like you to take in the sheer complexity of the world around you. Yes most of it can be explained by science and through modern understanding.
However, now look at yourself and ask yourself how your personality came to be, how your parents came to love one another, how your family shares a bond that is almost unbreakable, despite what might happen. The fact that you live and breath, make decisions based on morals, think and discuss if there is a God. There is your proof right there.
The thing is, life and the universe are far, far too complex for there not to be a higher being (i.e "God"). Science can only explain so much to us and even then we know very little. God exists simply because you exist and are able to ponder the thought "does God exist?"
As for purpose..it isn't man's affairs to wonder what a deity's plans and designs are. We're powerless to stop anything set forth by the Almighty, therefore our purpose is simply to live.

Porn and sex can become addicting, especially when you try and deprive yourself and the urge becomes too much and you go crawling back for more.
I would honestly suggest that, if you want to stop, you purge your computer over every hint of the websites and refrain from using the internet for a very long time. Simply being allowed that much power over what you view tends to corrupt people. So chuck it out.
You're not really that bad for looking at any of the stuff, I've known worse people that look at porn and on the outside they are inherantly "good". It's a simple matter of self will if you want to break away from it.
So, get off the internet for however long it takes you and find something time consuming to occupy your time instead of looking at pr0n.

So, its my birthday, on july 20th. and i'm super excited. I guess. I mean i'm not having a party this year, and so my mom says i can get whateverrr i wanntt. like anythinggg.

Ask simply for money, cold hard dead presidents.
That way you can simply put money back for whenever you need it. You already got more than enough stuff (I got half of your stuff and I bought all of it myself) so why ask for more when you can simply ask for cash to have for whenever?

Highly. It's good for downloading single songs and an occassional video clip here and there.
But I would largely recommend using internet torrents for downloading albums, discography's, and entire movies...since it's more secure and you're gauranteed to get what your downloading.

Hi! So I just got a new comp and I wanted to know everyone's opinion of limewire or kazaa or share files with others...do they come with viruses? What are your experiences with that? Should I download it..and if so, which one? (link)

Kazaa is just a slow poisen to your computer. It was my first ever P2P network and it royally screwed my computer. From that point on I have used bearshare BETA. I tried Limewire but I found it to be too cramped with files that ultimately do nothing but advertise pr0n. Therefore, I would recommend Limewire over Kazaa, but ultimately would recomment Bearshare or internet torrents for your downloading pleasure, since they are more secure and have less malicious software/adware.

Is there a way to delete your history on your internet? LIke i deleted the actual history section...but when i go to the address section like it still pops up? Is there anyway to fix this? (link)

The answer is in your "cookies". These are you digital preferances that have been saved whenever you visit a website. Passwords and whatnot are part of this.
To delete them, simply go to your control panel and select internet options and then "delete cookies".
After they are gone, your browser should be completely blank of websites and whatnot. The only downside to this is that if you go to a website with a password saved, you will have to re-enter the password.

It would depend on how crowded the place is. Most places will allow you to buy tickets at the door, but the risk of that is that you might wait in line and then find out the tickets are sold out.
It's almost always better to pre-order tickets..so you avoid the hassle of lines and the possibility of missing the show.

my daughter married into a family that has babyed her from day one. she now has 3 children. she and kids live with inlaws. only time we hear from my daughter is when she wants something. the inlaws babysat these kids since they were born. now they are feeling like they are being taken advantage of. the mother inlaw and sister inlaw are giving my husband and i a hard time. they want us to babysit more. mind you we love the children but mother in law and sister inlaw do not have jobs. my husband and i have full time jobs 40+ hours a week. they want us to quit our jobs to babysit. we can't do that. we sometimes work weekends too.
they call us bad grandparents because we don't baby sit. when my children were growing up i didn't dare ask my parents to take the kids. i felt i had them so i should have them with me. only time my parents took the kids was when they asked for them, because they worked too. the mother in law told my daughter that she will do everything possible to keep those kids from my husband and i if something was to ever happen to my daughter and son in law. she is doing this because we don't babysit the kids. if we call off work to babysit we will lose our jobs. my daughter doesn't bring the kids over for a visit when we can see them. the only time we get to see the kids is if we babysit. so we don't get to see the kids because we have to make a living. is the mother inlaw right or am i right?

It sounds like you have a terrible daughter. No child should deny the right for their parents to see their children. My great uncle never saw his grandchildren because his sons wanted his money and when he wouldn't give it, they wouldn't let him see them.
You can't take off work and it is foolhardy to try and make the effort when your job is at stake. They have no job and all the time in the world. While babysitting is a painstaking and time consuming job, the in-laws have all the time in the world to do it.
They aren't being taken advantage of at all. They chose to baby your daughter and take care of everything themselves and for them to expect you to help babysit while balancing 40 hour+ jobs is unrealistic. And downright impossible if you were to quit your job.
You don't have the luxury of time like they do. Therefore, they really have no reason to be mad or upset. Yes they are babysitting, but it sounds they are just being lazy. Not to mention the fact that your daughter is distant anyway and only comes around when she needs something. It's bad parenting and unfortunately, there probably isn't much you can do.
You're right in every sense, plain and simple. Hopefully your daughter will atleast come around enough to let you see your grand children..and hopefully the mother in law learns more sense.

The novel doesn't appear to be online for full reading. Other Steinbeck writings are, but probably due to the novel's length..it is not.

*edit* You need to unzip it. If you have WinZip you simply load the file and extract it to a new folder. WinZip is loaded with most computers. So you can right click and find "WINZIP" and then click "Extract to..." and pick a file to store it in.

Peer to Peer (P2P) networking is actually easy enough to track and find out who is downloading what. But for the most part, it's all freeware and is available to EVERYONE and their mother. So even if you were to use it en masse and download a ton of music, there is little chance of actually getting caught, since it is almost a household thing now.
Your internet provider might be able to trace it if you are the only one (or in a selection of only a few people) that are using it. However, internet is common in most American homes and therefore, providers have alot of customers.
All in all, it is actually relatively safe to download via limewire, kazaa, morpheus, bearshare, etc. You run a better chance of getting a virus or spyware than actually getting caught and fined for downloading music and whatnot.
The main thing to remember here is that there is safety in numbers. So the more downloading means the less chance of getting caught. The only challenge to this is the proposed government regulation of the internet. But this is unlikely to happen..since the internet is private and company owned and the government has little say to what happens to it. Plus if they were to try and do that, the public outcry would be so massive that they would have no choice but to back down.

The book release is July 21st at 00:01 for every time zone. Meaning; at 1:01AM the book will be released. So whenever your time is 1:01AM, the book will be out.
Also, the movie is indeed coming out on the 11th of July. The movie was pushed back for unknown reasons but it is not coming out on the 13th but rather the 11th. And I can be fully confident in that knowledge because I work at a movie theater and that is when we were told to release it.
