There are a lot of good reasons to be scared.
I know a lot of teens don't even think about
it, I know I didn't, but having sex is taking
some very big risks with your future.
Not having sex with someone doesn't mean you
don't have very deep feelings for them. It
doesn't mean you don't necessarily not WANT
to have sex with them. It just means you aren't
ready to risk your future, or thiers, for a
night of sex.
It only takes one time to get pregnant. Some
guys may not realize that the idea of that is
very scary for a girl. Guys can go on like
nothing happened if they choose to. Girls
don't have that choice. They either have a
baby or they have to make decisions that have
to be lived with for the rest of their lives.
Very scary stuff! So if you have any doubts
at all, or are scared to take that step, any
reasonable guy is going to understand that.
Yeah, he can use a condom. They sometimes
break. It may not happen very often, but its
a risk.
Have a very serious talk with your boyfriend.
Don't get talked into doing it out of guilt.
Even the sweetest guys may try to make you
feel like you don't love them if you don't.
Now the decision is yours of course. Just be
well informed before you do anything. Protect

I will celebrate my 2nd anniversary in september. I'm 29 and my husband is 35. My husband and I have these petty arguments all the time about how he always put me last or don't help me around the house. For example, we were invited to a relative's house for Easter dinner. I haven't seen these relatives since they moved back to my home town. I made sure my husband didn't have any plans for us, before I gave my cousin the okay for dinner. Well, when Sunday came, he layed around the house napping. I told him I wanted to leave the house at 4pm for dinner and he said okay. As usual, he didn't start to get ready until 5:30pm. This is an ongoing problem, it's like he doesn't hear me or just don't care. Since December we scheduled a date. We would go out or watch a movie once a week (on a Wednesday), this day was selected by my husband. Since I compromised on a Weekday, due to him working on Saturdays. I suggested we start date night no later than 6:30 pm. This way, we can still enjoy one another and I can still get enough rest for work the next day. He agreed. However, I think he made it to date night on time maybe 3 times. The last straw was he wanted to go to the mall during our night. This was after he showed up 1 and 1/2 hours late. What I don't understand is he get's an attitude with me, because I'm mad at him. I'm really tired of this and not to mention all the other teenage actions he's pulled. What should I do??? (link)

When you see he isn't getting ready...then
is the time to get mad. If he's napping start banging pans together or something and get him
up and moving. Be creative!
If he's late getting home for date night,
remind him in the morning that you are
leaving at 6:30. If he isn't there, let
him know you aren't going to wait unless
he calls with a VERY good reason for being
late. Go out, eat dinner, (don't bring him
any either)and tell him he is on his own.
I'd also let him know right up front that
there is no excuse for him to pull an
attitude on you. You set times to be places,
You have to respect those who you make
appointments with. Have this talk with him
before you make anymore dates. Then don't
get mad. Just do what you say and leave him
to make his excuses. :)

I met this guy 4 years ago. I am in my late 20's and he is in his early 30's. We hit it off. He was everything I was looking for; attractive, charming, sweet, succesful, and loving. 3 months into it he changes into a cocky, disrespectful person. Apparently he had another girlfriend. I suffered as the other woman for almost 3 years. I knew what I needed was to leave, but I didn't. Actually throughout those 3 years, we were on and off. It is now into the 4th year and he has made some changes. I think and feel like he is only seeing me. When we're together, we are deeply in love. We laugh, we enjoy each others company, We are so happy together. And I mean literally "together". He is a very busy guy, so when we're apart...we do not get along. Because I already have trust issues considering he disrespected and cheated in the part, I would think that he would try his hardest to communicate. Of course, he doesnt. Some nights he simply doesnt return my calls. His excuse the next morning is he had a long day and he was tired. I really think that he is not cheating, but I feel like I deserve to be communicated with. Would counseling be worth our time? Is our relationship savageable? I am deeply in love with him. for you what you feel for him. He is using
you because you allow it. He has treated you
like shit for 4 years now and while you get
mad and break up for a bit, you always come
running back to be stomped on again. By
allowing him to use you when you knew he
was in a relationship 4 years ago sealed
your fate with this guy.
Stop torturing yourself. My bet is he wouldn't
even consider counseling with you. This
relationship is not a healthy one for you.

given in a way that isn't rude. If the question
isn't even answered then people should rate a
2. Ratings abuse is the biggest cause of crap answers. They get rated a 5...they feel answering
badly is OK.
If a young teen wants to have a baby, If she wants
to be anorexic, then not giving your opinion by
saying "don't do that" is being a very irresponsible
columnist. Even if they rate you low as a result.
We also have a link in the blue column for abuse reports. If you feel someone is being rude, file a
report. Rudeness is not allowed. Just expressing an opinion though is not rude. :)

i hear girls complain that somtimes when they go on diets they just loose a bunch of weight in their breasts. my first question is, is this true? do some people actually see a noticable difference in the size of their chests?
the second thing is, i have a really big chest and i really dont like it. im pretty short and im thin. by chest is just a little bit bigger than what would look right on me. so do you think if i try to loose wieght i could loose it of my chest? how exactly could i go about doing this? You will lose some weight in your breasts.
Probably not enough for it to be real
noticeable. If you are thin and have big
breasts, losing more weight isn't going
to make a big difference. :)

This is something you need to consult your
doctor about. It could be meds. Many of them
have side effects. You may be pre-menopausal.
Whatever it is a trip to the doctor will
be the answer. You are NOT to old! Give
the doctor all the facts. If you think you
will be nervous and forget to ask something,
write it all down before you go. :)

I was going to edit an answer on the Edit Answers page, and noticed that a lot of them were supposedly 'deleted' [because of the red text]. I went to one of questions, and a user had just given their answer. How are the questions deleted if columnists are still able to give answers? (link)

We don't like for them to, but some people delete the questions themselves after getting answers. Once
you answer it, it is on your column for good. Even if its deleted. You just won't find it on the answer a question pages. :)

Having sex at 15 in no way affects future
ability to have children. It doesn't ruin
an eggs.
Any girl 15 who gets pregnant has what is
considered a "high risk" pregnancy. There
can be more complications than a mature
adult pregnancy. Maybe thats what the rumors
are about.
All that really means is that the doctor is
taking a risk delivery babies for girls under
18. Insurance companys allow them to charge
more for their services.

okay so this morning i woke up with my right eye crusted shut. then it was draining a clear liquid and was red. later i took a hot shower and put in eye drops. now my eye is white like the other eye but it wont open as wide as the other one.
is it pink eye or just and allergy problem?
and if it is pink eye, i have school tomorrow and i hate my glasses so i wear contacts. would it be okay to wear them? if i do what would happen?

It sure sounds like pink eye to me. Don't try
putting in your contacts until it is cleared
up. You will need to call your doctor and get
some medicine for it. Be careful when washing
your face or using your contacts, it is easily
spread. You don't want it in both eyes.

My girlfriend is adorable, pretty damn sexy, and luckily for me she wants to have sex with me. However, when the time comes, and we're having crazy dry sex the last layers just don't come off. We both go crazy, and she told me that she has never been so open to anybody before: especially sexually.
After the thing happens she apologizes, and explains how she's sorry that she doesn't just give it to me. Wanting to have sex and actually doing it
are very different. Don't take it that she
is rejecting you or anything. She just knows
the possible consequences and isn't prepared
to deal with those.
You guys should worry about that too. I know
some of you probably do to a certain extent,
but its very serious business to any thinking female.
The possibility of getting pregnant,
even when using a condom is a risk. Its also
a major turn-off when it comes to doing the
deed.
Girls have to live with it (baby).
Guys can leave and just throw money at it.
So if you care about her reassure her that
what you're doing now is okay until she is
