does any body know anything about asymmetrical labia, and how to solve it?

There are many different kinds of labia, and they are all normal. A person can be born with asymmetrical labia, or it can come about later. I've read that it's common in women who ride bikes a lot, from the friction.

It shouldn't be a health concern, but you may want to talk to your doctor about it anyways. It won't go back by just leaving it alone, unfortunately. The only way to take care of it is to have it removed. This is actually pretty simple as far as surgeries go, your doctor will probably be able to do it in the office, without going to hospital, using local anesthesia and a few stitches.

Your insurance may or may not cover it. Some insurance companies see it as a cosmetic concern. However, you may be able to convince your doctor to write a letter to your insurance company by saying that it gets hurt by your jeans/underwear, or by saying it pulls during sex.

Hello everyone. I am, currently, a strong agnostic. However, I am always interested in improving what I know, do and believe in order that I might adopt the most reasonable philosophy possible. Therefore, I ask you if you have a really good reason why I might reconsider what I believe. I would love to hear reasons for changing my mind - it is something that, perversely, I take much pleasure in doing!

To help you along, here are my current beliefs summarised (but badly!):

1. I am a materialist. That is, I do not believe that there is anything other than the material world. I do not believe in the supernatural or the spiritual, nor in gods, magic or souls.

2. My ethics are broadly utilitarian. That is, I judge my actions according to the level of harm and benefit derived from performing them. I also use (and I think the idea was first put forward formally by Kant) the principle that I call "if everyone did it". When we perform some actions, the harm done is so minor that it does not really matter if one person does it (so utilitarianism fails to stop you doing it), but "if everyone did it" then the world would be harmed very greatly. So I do not perform such actions as littering, shoplifting, wasting water etc. My ethics are also partly informed by the sense of morality hammered into me by parents, teachers, and (IMO) the rigours and necessities of survival (ie evolution).

3. Because I am a materialist (see #1), I accept the latest scientific theories as the best possible explanations for the way the world works and its origins. Questions unanswered (or unanswerable) by science I either answer with pure reason or mark as "unknowable". Note that I do not "believe" scientific theories, but am merely *convinced* by them.

4. My general philosophy as regards other people's behaviour is, "live and let live"; ie I am a libertarian. So long as no-one is harmed by your actions and you are capable of making rational decisions, you should be free to do as you wish. It would be nice if everyone were as morally upright as me (see #2), but human nature seems to dictate that most people will not think so hard about their ethics as I do.

And those are all the salient points as regard my belief system. I now make a request of you when you proselytise for your various beliefs:

If you are an evangelical, Protestant, fundamentalist Christian, please think your answers through VERY carefully. I have been arguing with fundamentalists for a very long time on the Internet and am well versed in (and indifferent to) most of the standard arguments from that group. I am quite tired of people trashing evolution because "it is just a theory", or telling me that Christianity is ONLY about having a personal relationship with Jesus, and everything else that is promulgated by poorly-educated and immature Christian fundamentalist debaters. Everyone should think their answers through carefully, of course, and be sure that they are well-structured and properly written, but this group IN PARTICULAR should take care.

Thankyou for your time. Please respond!

Hey, what's up. I'm a pagan (not wiccan, just pagan). I think that a person would have a very hard time changing your mind, since you understand your beliefs so well, and since your rationalism is so well thought out.

I disagree with you on one point only. I believe in spiritual experiences, a god, and possibly other spiritual beings. But my god is not the Christian God, because I do not feel that the Christian God is possible. Simplified, the Christian beliefs turn on four principals: 1) God is all-good (or god is love), 2) God is all seeing, 3) God is all powerful, 4) Evil exists. These four prinicpas CANNOT exist at the same time. An all-good, all-seeing, all-knowing God could not allow all of the evil that exists in the world today. It would hurt him too much to see so much undeserved suffering. I also find it hard for an all-good god to say that suffering is deserved because of a sin in a garden thousands of years ago.

Someone cannot say that evil does not exists, because its presence is so obvious in so many ways. Therefore, one of the principals of god must be untrue. I choose to believe that god is not all-powerful, which makes me a very bad Christian, indeed...Which is why I'm not one.

Can you see that there is even a slim possibilty that an all-good, all-knowing, but not all-powerful God might exist? Have you ever researched the Zoroastrian god? Because it was when I researched Zoroastrianism for a school paper that I acutally completely gave up my Christianity (after years of questioning why it didn't make sense).

I won't try to change your beliefs, and I don't want to, because it's against what I believe. However, if you really want to challenge your beliefs, think on those four things with an open mind. With how well your understand your beliefs though, I doubt that you will find any more truth in what I've said. But it is interesting to think about, isn't it?

...Other than that, I can find no argument for your other three listed beliefs. I hope that was at least mildly interesting to read, lol.

Hey I got a question. Well first off I started photography about a year ago, and while I was in school I used to use a manual camera with film I rolled and what not. But now that school is out I dont have a dark room to use, so I have been using my digital camera and going to walmart to do my prints.

I wanted to join a gallery in a nearby town, and they had an opening in the nudist section. Now my question is, is there anyway I can print nude pictures somewhere where it wont be a problem? online or can I do it at walmart if they dont have a problem?

thanks

I think that it might depend on your local Walmart. My sister-in-law is a stripper, and she gets her prints from Wal-Mart without trouble. However, my local Walmart (different city) won't do it. Walgreens blacked out the naked bits when she took them there.

My advice is to call around. Check with small local photographers (check your yellow pages) and see if they'll do prints for you. Check with your local big chain stores as well.

i know this sounds childesh, but my mom gave me a puppy for my birthday and theres just one problem. she wants to have him fixed. and i dont want to have him fixed. it will hurt him and think it's his choice to reoproduce or not. but my mom says he'll be less aggresive and then she had the nerve to tell me it's her house and what she says go's. i dont want to have him fixed but my mom's being a total bitch. how do i convince my mom that it's unfair to fix a dog, and he's mine not hers.

First, I have to let you know that it really isn't too painful for male dogs. Female are the ones that have the more complicated and painful operations.

Second, your dogs choice to reproduce results in so many little puppies who have to be put to sleep every year that area accidents and are unwanted. It also results in strays who wander the streets starving.

Your mom probably brought up the issue that it is her house because male dogs are often known to be more aggressive. This results in much more ruined furniture and torn up carpet. In other words, thousands of dollars of repair over the dogs lifetime.

I think that it is best for your mom, you, and your dog to get your dog fixed. If not for that, think of the starving strays and the puppies that are put down because people chose not to have their dogs go through a simple opperation.

What vitamins are good for healthy skin and where is the best place to get these vitamins.

I am completely against supplements so if you mention supplements.. you instantly score a 1 :) i just wanna know the best sources to get the vitamins/minerals without taking supplements

As far as I know, Vitamin E is the most helpful to your skin. It is found in vegetable oils, nuts, wheat germ, and green leafy vegetables. You can also get it in fortified breakfast cereals. Of course, an all around healthy diet with lots of water is also important to healthy skin.

If i want to put a poem in my xanga, how do i make it copyrighted to no one can copy and paste, there are so many people who pass by i'd never know if someone came by and claimed it as theirs.
Thanks,i'll rate high

It's copyright as soon as your write it. However, there is very little that you can do to keep someone from stealing your work once it is published on the internet. The fact that taking your poem is illegal will stop few people who really want to use it as their own.

Unfortunately, your best options are to put it on the internet stating that it is copyright and accepting that some people might try to use it as thier own; or keep not put it on the Internet at all.

As a side note, most people will respect your work, and will not try to take it. Hope that helped!

I have those exact colors. I looks awesome, especially with a black light. Keep the green accessories kind of random. For example, don't use an entirely green bed set. If you can find it, use one that is mostly black with a few small green designs, and then throw in a few green pillows.

It looks really cool.

I went to www.geocities.com to create a site, and then we went to Pagebuilder "help" and it said the minimum System requirement was 133MHz Pentium. What does that stand for? And also, can someone recommend another website-making site that's user-friendly, free, and doesn't require a lot of system stuff?

It means that you need a 133 megahertz Pentium processor. it is referring to your processor speed. Right click on "My Computer" and then click "Properties". Under the "General" tab, towards the bottom, it should say what processor you are using. Most likely, you have enough.

By the way, these instructions are assuming you us Windows XP. Previous versions of Windows should use a similar method.

ok so i was to peirce my tounge by myself, cause i basicly do what i want

but my tounge is really short
i mean really really short
does ur tounge have to be a certain length to peirce it? because like the thing at the bottom of your tounge is like connected right at the tip of my tounge, so what the hell am i supposed to do?

I used to think that it didn't matter what length your tongue is. But when I had mine pierced (professionally), the artist could barely get the jewelry through my tongue. So, I guess that it is possible for your tongue to be too short. You might be able to pierce farther towards the tip of your toungue.

As far as the thing under your tongue, I think that you could pierce to one side or the other at a slight angle. All the people that I know who's tongues are pierced have their piercings at an angle.

Male/17
Hey, I’m usually the one giving advice. I don’t need advice. I just have a question and I want to know your opinion. This question is for deep thinkers. Long answers are encouraged as well as comical ones.

I’ve seen quite a lot of “love” questions, asked by adolescences. What would you call "true love"? Many people have been saying “I have a boyfriend and I REALY love him” and “she said that he loves me” or things like that. I’ve seen these questions being asked by 13 year olds! Teens DO have deep affections for people, but I really don’t think that they are capable of TRUE love. How can there be love if teen relationships only last 2 months or even 2 years! 2 years is quite long for a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, but shouldn’t love last a LIFETIME? I agree that teens think that they are in love (I’ve been there) but I wouldn’t call that love. I would call it more like, “deep affection”. After all, if love between teens is really “love” then they shouldn’t break up, right? I think that teens are too young and “unexposed” to have TRUE LOVE. Even adults. They mistakenly call their relationships “love”. If it was actually love, then shouldn’t there be less or no divorces?

I think I'm going to get a lot of people mad at me for this. I mostly agree with you. I think that teens are capable of "true love," but I don't think that they are ready or able to recognize it and truly express it. I feel that your term "deep affection" is far more appropriate that love. I also think that "infatuation" describes it pretty well, too.

I belive that true love is more than deep feelings. I think it's an ability to aruge about things and still love each other not just before and after the argument, but also during it. It also is made up of trust. I think you can tell your true love ANYTHING that you have done, that you want to do, or that you think and feel, without being afraid of what they will think. I belive that for it to be "true" love, the feeling normally has to be shared by the person.

I don't think a 13 year old can "REALLY love" his/her boyfriend that they've been with for just a few months. I don't think that can really know a person in such a short amount of time, and I think you need to know a little more about a person than that to really develop mature feelings of love for them.

I completely agree with you on your last few points. Yes, love should last a lifetime, and I believe for some people that it does. I think that maybe some adults never outgrow the relationship habits that they form in early teenage years, and therefore aren't able to recognize/develop true love.

Ok..i know this is sucha weird question..but have any of you people TRIED bloody mary? you kno where you go in the bathroom and turn off all the lights and say her name 3 times and shes suppose to come out?? or maybe i got it wrong..all i really wanna know is that if anyone tried it..and whats the story behind it and what do you do exactly to see her??? pleaassseee reply! i`ll rate high =)

I did that back in elementary school. You go in a bathroom facing a mirror with all the lights out. I was told that you have to close your eyes while you say her name three times. Then you open your eyes and you're supposed to see her in the mirror. I thought that I saw her in the mirror in place of me, this awful white face. Now I know that it was just a reaction from my eyes going from bright light, to being closed in the dark, to being opened in the dark. Just about scared the life out of me at the time though.

Anyways, there are several variations like spinning around, rubbing your eyes hard, or saying her names different numbers of times, ranging from 3 to 100.

Also, depending on which story you adhere to, Bloody Mary could be different people. Bloody Mary was an actual person. She was Queen Mary I of England during the 1500's. She's called Bloody Mary because she several hundred people burned at the stake in only five years. Bloody Mary could also be Mary Queen of Scots who supposedly bathed in the blood of children in order to stay young, sort of like a vampire.

Hey, I'm 14.f and something has been bugging me. So many people have been starting to have sex, and i think its like, pathetic, how can teenagers, want to give blow jobs and hand jobs, i mean hello, its kinda weird for 13-16 year olds to do that at this age in my opinion. Does anybody out there agree with me that this stuff is stupid at this age? There have been so many questions on here about sex and hand jobs and everything and i think it is plain out pathetic! Teens shouldnt be worried about that kind of stuff at this age. Does anyone out there agree with me at all?

Thanks-

Actually I agree with you here. I think that there are far more important things for teenagers to be worrying about than sex. Also, I like to think of sex as a serious emotional commitment that few teenagers are actually ready for (though they believe that they are). I think that at this age, a lot of kids think of it as just messing around, which really belittles intimate acts when you've found the person you really love. That, and it opens a whole world of emotional issues, as well as possibilities of teen pregnancy and STD's.

I just got back from the Six Flags in my area. I've been going A LOT lately, since I have a pass (8 times in these past 2 weeks, lol) and today was the first day my inner thighs have been soar. I've been doing the same amount of walking (we'll only be there for a couple of hours before it closes) everyday and its not that much... but now they're soar from rubbing up against eachother. I have to walk funny to avoid my thighs from touching. Why are they sore all of a sudden (they're all red and burn) and is this because my thighs are touching (I've noticed naturally skinny peoples' thighs don't touch...)

That sounds like a heat rash. Some cornstarch powder, or medicated powder if it's really bad, should clear it up. Make sure to put some on before you walk around a lot again, too.

I just got my earlobes pierced for the 3rd time. The last two times failed because after a week or so of my newly pierced ears, they would always swell up and get infected. It would hurt and itch! Now, I got them re-done at Claire's and now my ears have formed a rash around the earring. I'm cleaning them everyday but they're still itchy! It's red and gross..I don't know what to do! It's my 3rd time..please help and is this normal?

It depends on a lot of things. You migt be allergic to the metal, in which case you should definately take them out. I have to wear silver, gold, or surgical steel, or my ears hurt really bad.

However, the redness, itching, and swelling could just be a part of the healing process for you. I found a lot of relief when I had mine done by doing this.

Twice a day, soak two cotton balls in i cup very warm water and 1/4 tsp sea salt. Gently press the cotton balls on the front and back of your ears, and hold them there for several minutes. Do this twice a day. Also, never touch your ears without first thoroughly washing your hands.

okay heres my problem..one of my best friends is going out with this guy two years older than her... and he has a REALLY bad rep like everyone knows him for having sex and using all these girls... but ive talked to her and him many times and hes changed a lot over the year, and he really likes my friend and he wont let her do anything too bad because he doesnt want her to think hes using her, but were going into highschool and i really am scared for her beacuse she will start to get the bad rep and no one understands there relationship and will think hes just using her.. what should i do and what should she do should she break up with him and wait till later in the year or what?

thanks

If she really likes him, then they should stick it out. People always talk, and they will think what they want. The best way to get people to shut up, is just your friend and her boyfriend to show people how much they mean to each other, and how much he has changed.

A bit of warning: I married a guy with a reputation. While is the greatest guy I have ever met, and he completely changed, all of my friends that knew his rep completely stopped being friends with me when we told them we were getting married. We have a great relationship, but we both lost all of our friends to be together. We've made new ones since, and I figure the old ones will come around eventually. But your friend may want to be prepared for something like that to happen.

I'm 15 and one of my inner labias is about three times the size of the other. However, this wasn't always so. It started about 2 years ago when I started masturbating with the showerhead. (Could this be the cause of it?) Anyway, I figured it was just swollen, and the swelling would go down. However, as time went on, it only got worse. It's now a more purple-ish, darker color, and bigger. Anyways, point being, instead of it getting better like I assumed it would, it only got worse. And it's now two years later, and I haven't told anyone about it. I would really like to, but I am too embarrassed. Also, I'm afraid if my parents take me to a gynocologist or anything of that sort, they will find out I'm not a virgin anymore, WHICH CAN NOT HAPPEN. I've been a huge emotional wreck ever since, and I really need to find out more about this. Any advice, information, help, or ideas would be SO greatly appreciated. I rate 5's for any attempt. Thank you.

First off, if you go to the gynocologist and the doctor finds out you are not a virgin, he is under obligation to you to not say anything to your parents. Besides, the only thing that the doctor can tell is that your hymen is broken. Your doctor will have no idea how it happened (i.e., you fell funny, you masturbate, or you just don't have one).

There are many different kinds of labia, and they are all normal. You have asymestrical labia. A person can be born this way, or it can come about later.

I hope that helped.

See I want to learn how to play the bass.... that is not my problem my problem is I dont know what is the best bass to get when you are first starting off.... And I need to find a cheap one.... if you can give me a link to as site I will be very greatful..... I also always rate 5's

www.musiciansfriend.com

They have the best prices that I've ever seen. My husband got his fretless there for $400 cheaper than in a store.

I have to warn you though, their instruments don't come set up. Guitar Center charges something like $100 to set one up, while Melody Music charges only $25. Check around your area to find the best set up prices.
