bloody mary???
Ok..i know this is sucha weird question..but have any of you people TRIED bloody mary? you kno where you go in the bathroom and turn off all the lights and say her name 3 times and shes suppose to come out?? or maybe i got it wrong..all i really wanna know is that if anyone tried it..and whats the story behind it and what do you do exactly to see her??? pleaassseee reply! i`ll rate high =)

I tried that when I was 9...my friend was so scared she wet her pants and thought that Bloody Mary was gonna chop off her head! Lol. It doesn't really work. It's just an idea that some little kids thought might be fun to scare the hell out of other kids. And anyways, Bloody Mary wasn't really a scary person. She just got executed and had her noggin off, like millions of other people in her time. People just like to make her into a ghost, that's all.

ok you go in the bathroom and turn of all the ligths and have sum1 lock the door frum the outside.and it has 2 b at midnight.then you say bloodymary 3 times and her face will appear how it wiz wen she died.OK well ive done all those things 30 billion times exactly the way they were supossed to b done but nuthing ever happens.so u can go ahed and try but there isnt anything to b afriad of because nuthing is ever going to happen!

The way I've always known it to be, is that you go into a bathroom, turn the lights off, and make shore you're facing the mirror. Say "Bloody Mary" THREE times, and in the mirror she should appear.. in a white dress.. covered in blood. Now, I've tried this. NOTHING happened. It's all some lame game to scare some bored youngsters. =/ Scares ME though =]

Sadly, yes i have tried it, im pathetic. Me and my friend went in the bathroom in my basement and did it. We heard a noise and we ran out of the room and leaned against the door. Then we heard a big bang coming from the bathroom. i was scared shittless...i ran upstairs as fast as i could. it was most likely just my imagination though..
Anyways, the story. i think their are a few versions to it. I looked it up on google. Well heres what i got:
-"About 100 years ago or so there was a woman named Mary. One day she had a terrible accident and her face was scratched so badly that she bled to death. But her spirit could not rest. Bloody Mary roams the world as an evil ghost. If you stand in front of a mirror in the dark and say her name three times, you will see her horribly mangled face appear. If you don't turn on the light and run away as fast as you can she will try to scratch your face off"

I did that back in elementary school. You go in a bathroom facing a mirror with all the lights out. I was told that you have to close your eyes while you say her name three times. Then you open your eyes and you're supposed to see her in the mirror. I thought that I saw her in the mirror in place of me, this awful white face. Now I know that it was just a reaction from my eyes going from bright light, to being closed in the dark, to being opened in the dark. Just about scared the life out of me at the time though.
Anyways, there are several variations like spinning around, rubbing your eyes hard, or saying her names different numbers of times, ranging from 3 to 100.
Also, depending on which story you adhere to, Bloody Mary could be different people. Bloody Mary was an actual person. She was Queen Mary I of England during the 1500's. She's called Bloody Mary because she several hundred people burned at the stake in only five years. Bloody Mary could also be Mary Queen of Scots who supposedly bathed in the blood of children in order to stay young, sort of like a vampire.

I was dared to do it at a slumber party once. You go into a room with a mirror (doesnt have to be a bathroom) and turn off the lights so you are in total darkness and facing the mirror. And yes as you guessed you say Bloody Mary three times out loud. She is supposedly supposed to appear behind you and slit your eyes and ya can see her in the mirror behnd you.
The stroy behind it is that there was once a Queen of some counrty and some person who hated her came and slit her eyes while she was looking at herself in a mirror. I know that is kind of sick but whatever lol.
And no, it doesn't work lol... I did it and I can still see. :)

It's something kids do to scare each other. Anyway the mirror is supossed to turn green if she's not coming or red if she is coming. However, when I did it I saw a face in the mirror and the water I put on it turned red but I think it was my imagination. Anyway where I live you're supposed to splash some water on your mirror and chant Bloody Mary three times while spinning around. If you are feeling really daring when you're done with this ritual say mirror mirror on the wall who's the bloodiest of them all? I'm not completely sure how true it is because I learned it in elementary school and you know how kids are at that age. It's always changing but whatever. I hope I helped!

i think the story behind bloody mary is that she was the daughter of king henry(i think thats his name, or it could be george) of england, and he only wanted sons. he also had another daughter, Elizabeth, and when king henry died, she became queen instead of Mary, and somehow mary died, and she's really pissed off..
i think my friend tried it.. and she's still alive. i doont think it works, and i think it's just something to scare the kids, but i havent tried it yet because deep down i'm a little scared to try it too. there's another myth, the candyman. you have to same his name in front of a mirror(doesnt have to be a bathroom mirror) 5 times, and he'll kill you with his hook-of-a-hand and a swarm of bees will attack you.. i saw the movie.. i dont believe that one either

Haha.. something people (little kids, mostly elementary school kids) do! I remember back when I was in 4th or 5th grade, in Girl scouts, a bunch of girls would go into the bathroom, switch off the light, say "Bloody Mary" like 50 times, then wait. I think water was supposed to be red or green? Or see Bloody Mary's face in the mirror or something. I don't know, because IT DOESN'T WORK!! It's just a fun silly little thing.. sortof like goblins and ghosts and the Easter bunny.

haha....my friends and i always did that in elem school.
IT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING....its allll in the persons head...but its still a scary thing to try,especially if your alone.
what you do is go in the bathroom,turn off the lights, splash water on the mirror, and say her name three times.
The stories ive herd is that the water turns into blood and u see her face in the mirror thru it, or like said below it turns red or green...lol some people have such good imaginations:-D
