ShYbl0nD3 answered Sunday August 21 2005, 1:43 am: well i play the guitar and mine still look fine lol but i dont think playing will cause authrituos. my dad has also been playing for like 30 yrs or more and i mean he doesnt have it. it just basically makes your fingers stronger and somewhat bigger. but i think thats a myth about the arthritous.

FunnyCide answered Saturday August 20 2005, 10:09 pm: Uh, I don't think so. Make your fingers STRONGER maybe, but not cause authritus. I don't think you can really do anything except really wear your fingers out, at most strain them or cause carpal tunnel, and that's if you play like 8 hours every day straight. Not likely.
