Q: I have a friend who is verbally and physically abusive. She called me and my other friend a**holes for stupid reasons, and she just us both (hard!). She's been doing little things like that forever, like calling me an idiot or stupid, and maybe hitting me a few times. I could deal with that, but now she's gone way too far. I know that's not how a friend is supposed to act. She doesn't seem to know that her behavior is mean and immature.

I'm avoiding her, but I know I can't do that forever. What should I do?

You don't need to hit her back or start a verbal fight or anything, but stand up to her and mean it. If she can see you're serious and strong, she'll likely back off. I'm sure she's only doing this stuff because she feels like she can get away with it. You can repair a friendship like this, but only if you take a firm stance against her BS and she cares to still hang out if she can't be all dominant over others.

Q: hey i am 14 years old and my boyfrend wants to finger me. i want him to and i'm not scared about that but i just dont no what to do or anything i need serious help... lol and i am not to sure what happens when he does it either!?

Try it yourself first, find out what you like and don't like, then you can both enjoy it. Otherwise he might just stick his finger in and wiggle it around, which really won't do anything for you.

Q: i have had my belly ring done.
But now i want my tongue ring. But i want it now and i am flat broke.
So now i want my brother to pierce it for me.

There are major veins and nerves in your tongue, your tongue may be shaped improperly for it, and if it's not done right, you can get an infection that could lead to death, if not some seriously expensive hospital bills. Those are all rather unlikely, but why risk it? Please play it safe and wait for a pro!

Q: okay I was brushing my teeth, and then I threw up. It was only like a little cough. Like *cough* and throwup came out while still brushing my teeth.

It's so normal that there's even a slang word for it: vurp (vomit+burp). Toothpaste may not have helped - swallowing that stuff is not very good for you. Or it could just be unfortunate timing.

But yeah, that sort of thing is caused by indigestion.

Physically? Nothing, aside from giving you an orgasam and the temporary endorphin+hormone-stuff and fluid loss associated with that. If you mastrubate with foreign objects you could really hurt yourself. But it cannot stop your period. A very simple summary: periods usually stop due to stress or pregnancy.

Metaphysically, lots of people believe that mastrubation is a sin, because you're using your reproductive organs for...well..not-reproduction.

And maybe your parents could find you and you'd be very embarassed. But that's truly it - no other bad stuff happens like hair on your palms or messing up your cycle or organs or whatnot.

Tongues do heal very fast, compared to other parts of your body. Just drink lots of nice cold water and you'll be fine.

Q: Okay well my boyfriend and I have recently been having sex through about 3 months and we have been going out for three years. Not once have I had an orgasm, I always have to fake it and I sort of get tired faking it because I want to experience what an orgasm feels like. Really the only way you can have sex through "normal" intercourse is by finding your g-spot. If you don't know where it is, don't expect him to know either. It's behind your pubis, about a half-inch in - you can get to it by inserting a finger and curving it towards your belly button, or there are lots of sexual positions that are supposed to help your partner stimulate it through intercourse. But I recommend checking it out yourself first, because lots of women find it really weird/uncomfortable, don't get orgasams that way, and because knowing your body and what you like/don't like will help you guide him too.

Q: its my first time ever getting my period...but it comes one day & then the next it doesn't come then the next day it does..so basically its a every other day thing...is that normal??? please help asappppp

I'm 24, and on pills, and mine's still stop-and-go for a week. I'd say it's normal, as long as it's not really gushing buckets, causing you lots of pain, or lasting more than a week.

If he's already your boyfriend, you should talk about it together and see if you both want to go, and you both can. Money, interest, and scheduling may be a concern, so don't expect that it's a given.

From everything I know about guys, it's totally normal to "enjoy" yourself almost daily. Everyone does it, no one talks about it, and yeah, you're going to keep doing it even if you have sex. Lay off the porn a little, though - that stuff can really desensitize you after awhile.

Only use new razors in your bikini area, and use some kind of shaving cream - even soap is better thn nothing. A friend of mine taught me to put baby powder on after shaving, and it might be weird, but it does work.

Sure, you can still give open-mouth kisses without using tongue. If he tries to french you, just bite down real hard (j/k)! You may want to try it a little bit, you might change your mind about it once you've had some.

Maybe. Regardless, if it's at the point where you're seeing yourself and wondering what's up, you can completely fix it yourself. You're fully aware of what's going on, just make a concious effort to change your behavior. I know it's really tough when you really don't want to do anything, but you've got to. You'll feel much better for it.

You've got to use iTunes to "enable disk usage," and then click+drag them onto the iPod like it's a disk drive (My Computer for Windows, not sure what it's called for Mac). By design, iPod *won't* let you download songs off it unless they're uploaded/downloaded just like files.

In order to love someone, you've got to completely trust them. If he says he loves you but doesn't trust you, one of those two things is a lie. It's not even really your fault at this point, and there's nothing you can do to repair what you did. If anything, he's at fault for throwing around that word love while saying he doesn't trust you and is interested in someone else. I know it sucks, but you probably know this already - it really does sound like he's just trying to figure out how much he can push your relationship and date two women by calling one "just a friend". Trust is funny, because it works both ways. I think he's broken yours as well. If he hasn't, you may want to consider breaking it for him. I'm not sure if this other girl is real or not, maybe he's just trying to get back at you because he's hurt, but if it's true, then people in love don't blackmail each other like that, and he's pretty scummy for using that word with you.

Q: I am 13/f and am in the 8th grade. Im not really skinny but medium. I have never been asked out by a guy and I dont really want a bf but I want to be liked. I play sports and am kind uf tomboyish. No, not at all. Guys are just as scared as girls are when it comes to asking people out, maybe moreso. I knew lots of girls (myself included!) that didn't really have lots of boyfriends in school, but it turned out later that there were a lot of secret crushes we didn't know about until we were much older. Don't panic if you find out someone likes you, you don't have to give any kind of answers to him at all - just take a step back and watch and listen, which also gives you a chance to see if they really do like you, and what you might want to do about it. Don't try and be more girlish, guys obviously like you, and I'll bet there's a lot more you don't even know about.

Q: There is this one guy I REALLY like and he likes me too. Part of me wants to just ask him out cause I KNOW i like him. But, Part of me wants him to ask me. We are BEST friends and right now I feel like I can tell him ANYTHING. So I'm kind of confused on if I want him to be more than we are? Or if I should just ask him out? Why not just go out somewhere together, as friends, maybe a little more romantic than somewhere you'd usually go, and see what happens? You can be a little flirty to encourage him, but I think that sort of thing works best when it's not pushed too hard into formal askings-out.

Q: Ok, so here's the deal, I have this REALLY good guy friend, I mean he's like my best friend. Well, he just recently broke up with his girlfriend, and it looks like they aren't gonna get back together like he wants to.Well... I have started kinda liking him. So, we go in the closet, and they shut us in. Well, I didn't think he liked me, and I didn't think anything would happen. Then, he started touchingme, and like pullin me closer, and we starting kissing (this was my first kiss),then we started making out and he was like touching my butt and everything. Then, we get out of the closet, when our time is up, and a little while later he started talkin to his friend privately, and I found out that he told his friend that he was gonna ask me out. Then, we went back in the closet for a few more minutes.. and that was it. But, I'm so confused, cause this was last night, and he hasn't asked me out, and he has said a few things about his ex-girlfriend. I don't know what to think.. and I feel so crappy cause I really dolike him alot.. and I just wish he would ask me out. Have you talked to him about this at all? You don't have to be all up-ons, but I do think you should let him know you're pretty confused, and you want to know why he did that, and what's in store for the future, if anything. I'll bet he's pretty confused too - it sounds like he's got feelings for more than one person, and it might take time to sort out what he wants to do. (You'll probably need to figure out what you might say to him if he asked you to go out with him while he's going out with/pursuing other people too - some people are OK with that, some people just can't do that.) But: If he's a good guy friend, your first duty is to help him through whatever he's going through.

Q: I really like this guy. Whenever he IMs me it makes my heart jump. He know a WHOLE lot about me and my life. I think he knows to much though where hell think that im not good enough. See if you can take him on a "date" - it doesn't have to be a "real" date, just go out somewhere with him and see what happens. You won't embarass yourself if you remember that you like him, but you're also close friends. I wouldn't worry about your parents until you know exactly how he feels about you, and if you're going to be bf/gf. Then you should probably tell them what you like about him and see if you can do something all together, so they get a chance to like him. (If I were in your shoed, I might not mention anything about his race at all - if they start liking him beforehand, then it's hard for them to go back on that later, but I don't know if that's a really good idea.)
