I'm 15 and one of my inner labias is about three times the size of the other. However, this wasn't always so. It started about 2 years ago when I started masturbating with the showerhead. (Could this be the cause of it?) Anyway, I figured it was just swollen, and the swelling would go down. However, as time went on, it only got worse. It's now a more purple-ish, darker color, and bigger. Anyways, point being, instead of it getting better like I assumed it would, it only got worse. And it's now two years later, and I haven't told anyone about it. I would really like to, but I am too embarrassed. Also, I'm afraid if my parents take me to a gynocologist or anything of that sort, they will find out I'm not a virgin anymore, WHICH CAN NOT HAPPEN. I've been a huge emotional wreck ever since, and I really need to find out more about this. Any advice, information, help, or ideas would be SO greatly appreciated. I rate 5's for any attempt. have your friends take you to the emergency room this could be very very serious do something about it know or tell your mom that somethings going on down there and when you go to to the gynocologist go to her alone in her office and tell her what's been going on because it's called doctor /patient privaledge and she can't tell your moma nd dad unless you ask her to

you should deffinantly go to the gynacologist...the check ups aren't that bad and this thign you have could be deadly i think you would rather your parents be dissappointed but reassuring...they wont dissown you and they WILL find out sooner or later so it should be sooner especially if you are diseased...hope i helped

There is probably nothing wrong with you. Labias come and very different sizes (at the risk of giving too much information, mine are probably as different in size as yours and I know there is nothing wrong with me! I'm embaressed of it too, but my boyfriend thinks its cute for some bizzar reason)
Bring it up casually at your next doctors appointment or check-up. YOUR DOCTOR CAN NOT TELL YOU PARENTS YOU AREN'T A VIRGIN! They can't do it, cause they can't really be sure just by examining you and because it is all kinds of illegal!

well unless you ae worried about how it looks, i wouldnt worry about it, its bound to be just because of the pressure on it frequently that it has expanded, and even if you go to a gynacologist, they cant tell your parents you are not a virgin.

as hard as it may seem you need to tell soemoen. if you leave it like ti is it will just get worse. if you dont want to tlel your parents about it try tellign someone else who your trust a lot.. and i think at the gyno you make your own desicons abotu telling your parents that your a virgin or not. and if they do find out then they cant be mad at you forever.. i mean it already happened they cant change the past. hiope this helps you out.

First off, if you go to the gynocologist and the doctor finds out you are not a virgin, he is under obligation to you to not say anything to your parents. Besides, the only thing that the doctor can tell is that your hymen is broken. Your doctor will have no idea how it happened (i.e., you fell funny, you masturbate, or you just don't have one).
There are many different kinds of labia, and they are all normal. You have asymestrical labia. A person can be born this way, or it can come about later. I've read that it's common in women who ride bikes a LOT, from the friction.
It shouldn't be a health concern, but you may want to talk to your doctor about it anyways. It won't go back by just leaving it alone, unfortunately. The only way to take care of it is to have it removed. This is actually pretty simple as far as surgeries go, your doctor will probably be able to do it in the office, without going to hospital, using local anesthesia and a few stitches.
Your insurance may or may not cover it. Some insurance companies see it as a cosmetic concern. However, you may be able to convince your doctor to write a letter to your insurance company by saying that it gets hurt by your jeans/underwear, or by saying it pulls during sex.

mm i think you should tell someone still..because it will get worse and you might not be able to have kids or anything anymore, when you go to the doctors im pretty sure you have a choice weither they tell your parents your a virgin or not. You need to tell someone because if you dont your emotions are going to get screwed up like you might become depressed or sumthing..hope that helps/rate me!
