Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. If you are a girl, then start a rumor saying that she asked you to experiment and you were grossed out, and then say that she said she wanted to date whoever your prettiest female teacher is (if you said an ugly one it would be not even close to believable.) If you are a guy, then it's simple. Find a girl you do like, ask her out, then tell the other girl to screw off. Chances are she started the rumor because she likes you (if you're a guy) and wants you to like her. How do you know it was her that started the rumor. (Oh, and I was joking about the rumor thing, just punch her in the face... off school property if you do do that, because you can get suspended... and of course I'm kidding unless you really want to do that)
I know I'm no help because I was pretty much joking. Just ignore her. There's a terrible rumor going around my school saying that I gave this ugly boy a handjob, and it's SO not true. But hey, rumors eventually die down if you just ignore it or don't get so worked up. Sorry I'm not help.

i've been really depressed lately and i cut myself and i really really want to tell somebody because its been getting out of control and i don't want to do something i am going to regret so should i tell a counselor teacher friend or what?

When I cut myself I told a friend and without realizing we were standing with our backs faced to this one teacher, that teacher told guidance who told my parents. If something is risking your life then confidentiality doesn't not work in guidance. But before I told my friend about me cutting I had confided in a different teacher, anonymously though, but she eventually (after maybe a month or so of e-mails) found out who I was. Lucky for me she's kept my secrets (I hope) Confide in someone, whoever you feel most comfortable with. I had anonymously e-mailed my teacher, I used a yahoo e-mail adress because they're free, and I just randomly e-mailed her one day. You could write something like If you had a student that cut themselves what would you do. My e-mail was a lot longer because I'd e-mailed her previously with a problem because I had felt guilty about a friends death, and so I just added stuff about now how I cut and stuff like that. She isn't my teacher anymore, so I don't really talk to her as much, just like say hi everyonce in a while. But ummm, definitley tell someone!! Not to scare you, but you might want to head down to the health department. You probably do have an STD if the condom broke. I don't know why you would have sex with someone who has an STD, that's plain out stupid. And yes, the chances of you being pregnant are VERY HIGH! I say you might want to get yourself either down to planned parenthood or down to the local health department. And if you are pregnant and you do have an STD you have to think about your options. Especially if you do give birth. You'll have to have a cesarian - section (c-section) otherwise the baby will have a 100% chance of catching the STD. And you say not to call you a slut because you aren't one?? Ummm lets see, you could possibly be pregnant with one of 5 guys, you could've possibly contracted an STD, and then again today you are going to have sex again... Fine, I won't call you a slut, but if any of my friends were doing that I'd smack the hell out of them and be like what the f*%$ are you doing? That is wrong, and you need help. Ummm, yeah. Kids don't know better. They think that they're in love but they don't even know the meaning of love. And hey, remember this site isn't all americans. Not everyone who is acting slutty is an american. And Indians (the one's from India) well their guys aren't so great either. And their laws suck. Not to bash where you come from, but... If a girl who is a nurse tends to a male patient who has a friend in the room that has a gun and rapes her and beats her, the girl is sent to prison? At least most of our laws make sense. I have drank alcohol in the past, but only a very small amount since october of 2004 (for the sad story about me stopping just ask)
I have tried drugs but I'm not sure how much I like them
I've had at least 3 friends pass away in the past 4 months. One in October, one in December and one in january.
I blame myself for one of those deaths. (the drinking story)
I've tried suicide more then once, and I have cut my wrists before
I was anorexic for about 2years, from begining of 5th grade all the way to the 1st 2 weeks of 7th grade.

My fourteen year old daughter has been going out with this nineteen year old boy since the beginning of January, first of all she lied to me saying that he was sixteen. I am quite worried about this. WOW! I used to date a 18 year old (I'm 14) my mom was in denial about the relationship. At first I thought he really cared for me, like I really liked him, and we had lots of fun together. I thought everyone was wrong when telling me he was in it for one thing because we weer dating for almost a year before he tried to get me to do anything. The first time he asked he respected my desicion in saying no. Same with the second time. The 3rd time he asked he wasn't so respectful, luckily we were sort of in public, like he wanted us to go inside and do something, but we were in public when he asked, but anyways, if we would've been inside when he asked I'm not so sure how lucky I wouldn't been. But I was able to get home safe, that night I called him and broke it off because I was too scared to do it in person. I say unless you really like the guy, you should try and talk to your daughter and tell her that it's practically pedophile. If he was 1 year older then it would be considered pedophile. For an underage person to be dating an overage person the age limit without it being pedohpile is a total of 5 years difference. And they barely make the cut. He probably wants her for one thing. Not 100% sure, but most likely that's all he wants her for. Tell her you don't mind if they hang out, but you don't like the idea of them dating. And if anything sexual happens you will press charges (since he's over 18+ it would be considered rape, though you probably know that) Or if she does continue dating him, you are her ride to and from dates. They can't be out together past a certain time. And the most they can do is double date. Though she will get more freedom if she dates someone around her age. Make that clear to her. And tell her if you find out that she lies about seeing him or anything like that then she will be grounded, not allowed to see any of her friends for a month, no cell phone, no phone, no computer, school, church, family, and that's ALL!! Not even tv!!!!!! Tell her when she's dating someone 18+ rules are much more strict, because even though most average guys are also in it for sex, the 18+ are illegaly in it, and though some of them are nice guys, it's a lot more dangerous and he could get in a lot more trouble for doing anything with her. ENFORE THE RULES!! DO NOT LET THEM DATE!! I wish my mom would have broken things off with me and my ex instead of me having to learn the hard way. If your daughter absolutely refuses, then at least tell her to carry pepper spray and knowhow to work it. And that they CAN'T be in a house alone without a parent present at ALL, even if the parent runs out for 10 minutes to go to the store, they have to go outside!!! Good luck with your daughter and BE CAREFUL!!! He could be a good guy, but he could also be someone wanting one thing that your daughter is not ready to give!! Hope I've helped some. I've heard people talking about the movie Thirteen, and I was going to order it on TV (I have digital cable) but I dont really know what its about. So, will someone describe the movie to me..without giving the whole story away??

You know on aim when people have that very lil cell phone on the side of there SN?? Well what is it? And is it like text messaging? What if you cant get texting on your cell. Can you still use it? And is it free?

You can IM people if it's near their name. It just means that they are signed on their cell phone instead of a computer. It means that they can do text messaging, like that is how they would be talking to you. Like you are typing on your computer, well they are "typing" on their cell phone, so yeah that pretty much means that they are text messaging, but you can still talk to them and everything, it'll just probably be slowed for them to type since they don't have an actual keyboard. I had heard of reefer being a drug before (since almost all my friends do drugs... not me though) And so I looked up slang terms for MJ, and clicked on a sight and clicked a few links and it took me to that page. ok well im bulimic..im trying to deal with my problem but i haven't been doing it for that long but like everytime i stick my fingers down my throat it like feels like i scratch something in the same spot everytime and then it starts bleeding..is that the reason its bleeding?

well first of all, bulemia is a hard thing to deal with. I mean how can you make yourself throw up. I hate throwing up. That's why I was anorexic for almost 3 years. About 2.75 years. But at least bulemia is sort of healthier (when belemic you still get some of the needed nutrients because you still consume food) I'm NOT saying bulemia is a good thing, but in 1 or 2 ways it's healthier. You probably are scratching your throat, and that's not a good thing. It can really mess you up. Ummm, I don't want you to keep making yourself barf, and you say you're dealing with your problem, so I hope I don't put any ideas in your head, but there are those certain medicines that make you barf, and there are laxitives which are safer, but then again you can overdose and die from those. But yeah, that's most likely the reason your throat is bleeding. Or it could also be from throwing up so much it's irritating your throat. And it's really bad because it'll be harder to swallow. And your metabolism has probably slowed so now the more you eat the more you'll gain weight if you aren't healthy. That's what happened to me. Since I was never eating my body got used to it, then when I started to eat again, I ate as if my metabolism was the same so I gained. Also if you are a female and haven't already started your period then this will effect it. But that wasn't your question. This may sound dumb but I really need help.

I was browsing the internet and remembered a site I had visited earlier called TeenOrg or something like that- it had like chat rooms and articles and stuff. I was pretty sure I remembered it, so I typed in teenorg.com. And viola, a teen porn page appears. Of course I closed it out, but I'm freaked now- my uncle fixes my computer quite often and I'm scared he'll see it.

My internet browser is Mozilla Firefox and my computer is Windows XP. How do I get rid of it?

Either delete cookies, delete your history, or go to a BUNCH (like 10 or 20) websites, and it won't show your recent website visits. Or if he asks about it, tell him the truth. If you don't know how to delete history, then at the top of the page, it'll say file, edit, view, favorites, tools, and help. Click tools, then at the very bottom it'll say internet options... click on that. There's a spot where you can click delete cookies, and there is a spot that says delete history. (there are lots of other things, but you want to do one of the two) do whichever of the two you please. And when you delete history, doing that doesn't always work, so after you do that you might want to while holding down cntrl press H. Then it'll show you all the sites you've visited (it might show none if deleting history worked) right click those with your mouse, and press delete. Hope I've helped! Sorry if it's too confusing.

If given the choice between Italian and German...which one should I pick to learn?

Well I'm italian, so that's what I would choose. Also because italian is a lot like spanish, so if you know spanish it won't be too hard to lean italian. And italian is more romantic. But also I looked through some of the other answers you got and I like what AKSherma (or whatever the name was) had to say. I mean it all depends. Also, I don't have much against german, but I only know how to say one thing in german which is the word NO! (Nine) Yeah... it was easy to learn, but german language is hard to learn (or at least to me it was) Good luck with your choice though!!

Hey im 13 years old and im a size 34B and i like to wear sports bra because they are most comfortable on me. The problem is that when I put them on my nipples show through the shirts even when Im wearing a bra. I dont know what to do and I dont want people to assume that im a slut or anything because i think this is gross too. What should I do as far as this issue?

There's more than one thing you could do. Besides just a bra you can wear a cami(sleevless shirt, tank top, spaghetti strap, or whatever you call it) underneath your clothes. But if that doesn't work for you, then either get a padded bra or maybe you might want to start wearing 'regular' bras. Or maybe you've grown and you need a bigger bra size. There's something else that you can wear but I can't think of the name, I noticed that you've gotten like 10 or more answers already so you've probably heard this, so sorry if it's no help.
