ok well im bulimic..im trying to deal with my problem but i haven't been doing it for that long but like everytime i stick my fingers down my throat it like feels like i scratch something in the same spot everytime and then it starts bleeding..is that the reason its bleeding?

i really don't know why your throats bleeding but you should really talk to someone about your problem. your probably doing this because you think that you need to lose weight but that probably not true at all. try talking to your mom or a counseler and try a different way to lose weight try excercising and taking a daily jog everyday try eating healthier. and when your bulimic it completely destroys your teeth. because the acid in your stomach comes up and hits your teeth and eats your teeth away. hope i helped.

it never bled when I used to make myself vomit. i think that you should cut your fingernails so it wont hurt that much to touch your throat, and it might also be bleeding if you constantly touch your throat. i think if you cut your fingernails, wait a few days, then it'll stop bleeding when you touch it.

its cause youre doin it in the same spot and its gettin sore- also cause the acid and all the wierd chemicals in your stomach. you should reely work on fixing this problem- its bad for you and your health. go to your mom. she'll probably take you to a center where they work on fixing problems like that. (you could also go to a school counselor) hope this helps!

there is a reason why it is bleeding. you have acid in your stomach that burns the inside of your mouth! you really should tell your mom that you have this problem! she won't be mad, she'll be happy that your going to her for help! hope this helps!

no it's not because you're doing it in the same spot...it's cause your stickin your hand down your throat....it's not smart for you to do that i hope you know the consequences tht you will face very soon and the stuff you hurl back up has acid which burns your vocal chords and is a very bad thing for singers so i encourage you not to do that anymore!!!!!!!!!!

the reason you bleed is because when you stick your finger down your throat your nail scratches the you throat and after awhile you will starte to bleed and when you throw up acid comes up and its harmful to your throat so that might be a reason to.

Well the reason it bleeds is when you throw up your stomace acids come up and this eats away at your esophagaeous that is most likely why it is happening and if you dont stop it can kill you hope i helped

well first of all, bulemia is a hard thing to deal with. I mean how can you make yourself throw up. I hate throwing up. That's why I was anorexic for almost 3 years. About 2.75 years. But at least bulemia is sort of healthier (when belemic you still get some of the needed nutrients because you still consume food) I'm NOT saying bulemia is a good thing, but in 1 or 2 ways it's healthier. You probably are scratching your throat, and that's not a good thing. It can really mess you up. Ummm, I don't want you to keep making yourself barf, and you say you're dealing with your problem, so I hope I don't put any ideas in your head, but there are those certain medicines that make you barf, and there are laxitives which are safer, but then again you can overdose and die from those. But yeah, that's most likely the reason your throat is bleeding. Or it could also be from throwing up so much it's irritating your throat. And it's really bad because it'll be harder to swallow. And your metabolism has probably slowed so now the more you eat the more you'll gain weight if you aren't healthy. That's what happened to me. Since I was never eating my body got used to it, then when I started to eat again, I ate as if my metabolism was the same so I gained. Also if you are a female and haven't already started your period then this will effect it. But that wasn't your question. The first step of overcoming your problem is realisation that you have a problem. You've done that. Now you need to get help. The bleeding is more than likely due to the vomiting although not definately. Tell someone get help. The only people qualified to tell you whats definately wrong are medics. Hope you're ok :O)
