dude itatly is not that good of a country.i would definitlly choose german.plus german because its fun to speak. like Narr' means butt but the bad word of butt.and donki' shein' means u stupid mother #%^&*$^er. lol i use it at my school all the time. hope i helped. o yea france sucks balls.lol ]
Pick whichever one is easyier to learn. I would go with Italian becaus Italian would be more useful to speak, though that could be the same with german.

wow thats a toughie! lol
i guess maybe think to yourself.. where would i rather visit, Italy or Germany than choose that language, (thats a pretty silly way, but its an idea!) i'd personly pick Italian but thats me :) ]
It really depends on how familar you are with each language. If you have no familarization with either go for German because English is a Germanic language. However, Itlaian is a Romance language and English also has many Latin roots. Also, if you have ancestors from one of the languages go with that one. good luck ]
Hey hun! I think you should pick Italian! It's really up to you though! I just love Italian food, so that's why I said that! Italian food is sooooo yummy!!!!!!! It's your choice. ]
Italian all the wayyy!! haha i only said that cuz im Italian..but it's really interesting! my sister's taking German in school and she says it's really hard. (and she's real smart.) hope i was a help! *MuCh lOvE*nazY! ]
um i here german is easier but i think italian is awesome ]
i hear that german is easier.. i have some friends that are in it ]
Well I'm italian, so that's what I would choose. Also because italian is a lot like spanish, so if you know spanish it won't be too hard to lean italian. And italian is more romantic. But also I looked through some of the other answers you got and I like what AKSherma (or whatever the name was) had to say. I mean it all depends. Also, I don't have much against german, but I only know how to say one thing in german which is the word NO! (Nine) Yeah... it was easy to learn, but german language is hard to learn (or at least to me it was) Good luck with your choice though!! ]
go for italian... the food is great and the language is beautiful..... ]
well i'm german myself and both r very beautiful languages but i must warn u 1 time i asked my dad how 2 say i luv you in german and it sounded like he was cusing at me!!!!!!!!!!!!and ias 4 italian......i do like pizza ]
How about you learn to speak a language from a country that wasn't in the axis of evil? Do you like being an imperial facist? Learn Russian be a good guy. ]
i would pick italian..but if your like german i would pick that so whatever you want to do ]
I think you should pick Italian.

German!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ]
i like italian because it is a more delicate, pretty language. i think sometimes germans sound a little harsh and like beasts...lol hope i helped ]
I would totally go for german!!-trix ]
I would say which ever culture interest you the most. I know that German is much more harder than Italian. Itlian really resembles Spanish a lot and German is like...uhh..kinda random things. It's just that sometime in German words don't git together like they should. But trying studying the cultures and seeing whichever one you think is better. :)
Have a wonderful day!

German sounds really cool when they talk it. My friends German and when she talks it, it's amazing. But Italian is great too. I'd go with Italian, but it's really up to you!

In school, I took French, which is not that useful to me now.
However, the language that you choose depends on what you want to do with it later...
German: great to know if you want to go into business. The USA does a lot more business with Germany (esp engineering and finance).
Italian: Is a great language to know esp if you're into the arts and theatre (opera originated in Italy and most times still performed there) it is also a much more romantic language.
If you are thinking of another language that will be useful to you in the United States I would suggest Spanish. I wish i had taken spanish b/c hispanics are the largest growing minority group in the country.
Good luck,
