My name is Kayla and I'm 13 years old. I started my period not too long ago. But I have skipped about 3. Is this normal for me? I don't want to be able to not have children or anything? Is it serious? Please help. (link)

it is ok if you have missed a few periods because you just started your period it happend to me too after a few mounths you will have a regular period again everything will be ok wish you the best

My friends birthday is coming up and she is spanish and the majority of her friends is black and my mom is predgiduce and when I go to her birthday I am scared on what my mom might think or do. Any advice for what I should do when the big day comes? Im sorta scared... (link)

just tell your mom that she is one of your good friends and there should be no reason why you cant go to her birthday party just tell her that it really means alot to you and you would really appretiate it if she would let you go and not make a big scene.see what she says

At home sometimes I use a nasty answer and my mom takes it the wrong way when I dont mean to. Therefore, she does not trust me as much and thinks Im disrepectful and doesnt let me go many places. What can I do to fix this without having to tell her what happens in school and shit because I know she WILL NEVER understand... (link)

just tell your mother that there are somethings that you are going through right now and that you dont mean the things that you say to her and then give her sometime to think about what you said before you begin asking her to go places so she dont think that you only said that to go places

I have a friend that sleeps with a lot of people, I tell her it's bad but she still does it. Well one day during lunch she took a pregnancy test (she never uses protection, and she's been pregnant before but had a miscarriage) and well it came out positive. She got home and somehow her mom found out, and was like "How many times are you going to do this, you act like a ho, stop sleeping with people" and stuff like that. And then she told me she took another test and it came out negative saying that she wasn't pregnant. So that's what she belives, she thinks she isn't pregnant. Is she pregnant? I heard that the only time pregnancy tests can possible lie is if it comes out negative, and that if it comes out positive then she's defninitley pregnant. Which is true? Is she pregnant? (link)

it is very possible that she is infact pregnant the reason being that i took a pregnancy test and the first time it came out negitive and the 2nd time it came out positive and it turns out that i was infact pregnant!!

my best friend is a guy. hes like a brother to me so he knows everything about me and we always laugh and hit each other and we tickle each other like 24/7 and i like him but he has a gf!!! and we are really close! i mean soooooooo close we know everything about each other! i use to go to his house every day in 1st and 2nd grade but in 3rd grade he started hangin out with guys. but we were still close than in 4th 5th 6th and 7th grade and now 8th we've been best friends i have feelings for him and he was my first kiss (my mom dosnt know) and i like him alot and he has a gf. it seems like he flirts with me like when were in klass he takes my stuff and puts it in his pocket so i can get it! sometimes he moves his pants so his pocket is like infront and stuff and i dont know untill after i put my hand in but he dose it on purpose!!! i reaalllllllllllllllllllly like him do you think he likes me?

confused in love, i do think that he likes you however i would give hom some time tell him how you feel about him and left him figure out his thoughts if he does the things that you say he does then he will come to his sences dont try to break him and his gf up just let him decide what he wants to do

see i have this friend and it isnt that i don't let her have other friends it is just that when she is with the other friend i am not involved in the conversation. Also when this friend is around i dont think that my friend notices me even if i try to talk to her. I think that she likes this other friend more but it not willing to say it to my face. I have told her that i feel left out and somewhat betrayed because when this other person is around i am forgotten. Ihave told my friend this and then she denies it then agrees that i am being left out. I am sorry this is so long but really need the help and dont know what to do (link)

just tell her that if she doesnt begin to treat you like she treats her other friend that she is going to loose you as a friend if she is like this to you then you shou.ld really find a new friend someone who will pay attention to you and listen to you thoughts and feelings

Hey, I'm just curious as to what you guys think about this. I was at callbacks today for an audition, and I ended up singing Marian with all the Harold Hills (we're doing Music Man) and I was fine, but all of a sudden, singing with this one guy (who is, by the way, an AMAZING actor) I started getting all shaky. Like, I didn't feel nervous, but I was shaking. Just for the record, I do have a boyfriend, so I wasn't nervous about singing with a cute guy or whatever. I also never get stage fright. I'm sure what happened is normal...lol. I just want to know why you guys think that happened then instead of at the beginning of singing with them. (link)

just be there for him dont try to get him to tell you what is wrong just tell him that you will be there for him if he needs to talk and tell him if there is anything that you can do all he has to do is tell you i wouldnt try to rust into a rerlationship just yet give him some time hell come around

i am a 36 yr old mother of 2 boys ages 10 and 3. my mother who has been married 3 times, with her third marriage adopted a special needs baby about 2 1/2 years ago. now, i know that that is a comendalble thing, but i still have a problem with this whole thing. she decided to adopt the boy shortly after i had my second son. my son was about 3 months old when she announced that she was going to get into foster care. well, that was great. so, the first child she gets to foster is a special needs boy named charlie. he has a shunt, spina bifida, and is paralized from the knees down. Not long after she has him in her home, i begin notice that she is becoming very attached to charlie(naturally so). i asked her if she was considering adopting him , and she stated "that's a life changing decsion, and she would have to discuss it with everyone in the family before a decsion of that magnitude would be made". ok that was fine. well, about 2 weeks later she called me and annoced that they were adopting charlie. i told her that i didnt think that was a wise desicion condidering her husband is 72, and she is 58, and this baby would be a life long challenge. in addition to these factors, who would care for chalrie, when they pass? also, the state care worker told her that he wold be adopted immediatly, because even though he ahs special needs, he was a whilte baby and they were adopted quickly. she took my advise as offensive and told me in a spiteful way that they were adopting him! end of phone conversation. i just didnt get it. here i have two beautiful children, who despitatly needed a grandmother, and she would'nt give them her love and time before. i even spoke with her before the adopiton about spending time with my children, because i felt she really did'nt--because she did'nt. why wasent being a grandmother enough? so, i didnt speak to her for a year. well, we've reconciled since. but i still have a problem with this whole thing. its just to weird. everything she does is about charlie. she spends no time or attention with her own grandchildren at all. she's constantly going to physical therapy, and devoting every minute of the day for this child. now, dont get me wrong, these are things you would do, to take care of a child. that s not the problem. the problem is, i believe you cant be a goof grandmothe and a mother at the same time. also, i cant believe she didnt value you me or my opinion enough to ask my opinion first. i mean she didnt have to listen to me, but she could of at leat talked with me about it. they have burned so many bridges in our family. my step brother with 2 kids has recently just cut off ties with them for this same reason. they were hurt as i as well because my mother has maybe 1-2 pictures of her grandchildren, but the house is filled with pictures of charlie. i just feel that she did'nt consider anyones feelings not even charlies when she did this. i'm sure i look like the awful jealous daughter, but its not like that. although i will admidt i am jealous fo my chlidren. for the attention i think they deserve, from a grandma the will never have. should i cut all ties from my mother, or continue to pretend to everythings ok? talking toi her is not an option, because she will not want to hear that she may be wrong.

i understand that it is very hard to deal with something like that however i dont think that cutting all ties with her would be the best decision because just like your step brother i did the same thing and just 2 years later my mother died and i will regret what i di for the rest of my life. Also even though your mother doent talk to your kids dont you still want to have some part in charlies life? think about what i said you will do the right thing

This is pathetic and i would appreciate advice. I am 17 and really bad with getting a girlfriend. I have had girlfriends in the past and i am really good at relationships. See i have more girl friends then i do guy friends, get what i am saying? I really don hang out with alot of dudes. I dont know why dont ask why its just me. My friends are fine and we get along great but i just cant get a girl friend. I have heard "You're like a brother to me" and "I dont go for your type." Girls Like bad guys and that not me. I am not that bad looking and a great listener. I AM A GREAT CATCH. I just cant act like a dide around girls, its like a forgot how to flirt. Help Me get a girlfriend...PLEASE!
