bella101 answered Sunday January 16 2005, 6:04 pm: No, you have a better chance of getting shoked than you have curling your hair. Either try blowing it dry with a blow dryer or put curlers in. [ bella101's advice column | Ask bella101 A Question ]

xOchErrytWistOx answered Saturday January 15 2005, 7:34 pm: No! It can seriously damage your hair. You should never straighten curl or style your hair when it is even damp! It can dry it out and make split ends and really nasty dead hair!

hailebop answered Friday January 14 2005, 4:38 pm: You can put rollers in wet (well, towell-dried so to remove excess moisture) hair and then sleep in them or dry your hair, but if you are using heat (either a curling iron or hot rollers) then your hair must be dry when you start.
You can get special straigteners designed for straigtening your hair when its wet (Remington do some called 'Wet2Straight'), so there may be a curling tong that can work on wet hair, but I've not heard of one, and unless the ones you have specifically state that they work on wet hair, assume they don't. Karen answered Friday January 14 2005, 1:23 pm: Nope, it's not okay to curl your hair when it's wet because you are just damaging your hair and you are ruining your curling iron. And besides, if you curl it wet, your hair will not curl; the style will fall out. Hope I helped :)
