okay this is semi long so i am sorry but i really want advice: my mom died when i was 3 and i went to SO MUCH counseling. family,alone you name it. i stopped around the end of 3rd grade. but now that i am a teenager i realize how much i want/need a mother figure. i have my grandmother and i love her dearly but its not the same. i try to talk to my friends but they cant really relate and i feel bad making my problems their problems. i sort of want to go back to counseling but it costs SO MUCH and i am not sure i need it....

This may seem like a random and completely dumb question to some, but I'm actually quite serious in asking this. My question is that why is it that young girls ages 12-14 and some even younger, feel that they NEED to have a boyfriend just to fit in? You girls don't understand, when your time comes to have a boyfriend, you'll find someone who will like you for you. Also, my other question is why do you feel the need to dress provocitavely, exposing your breasts, butt, and stomach just to look "sexy"? You don't need to be showing all of that to look sexy. Hey, I'm going to a dance workshop in about a month, and I was wondering if anyone knew any stretches I could do, to maybe become more flexible.. (I don't mind yoga or pilates) If anyone's got any tips, thanks in advance!
Buy a 5 dollar yoga video at Wal-Mart. It shows how to yoga. It is really stress free. Im a serious dancer and I always stretch to get more flexible. Practice splits. But remember to do a few stretches before you do the splits,
like touch the ground and grab your feet and the butterfly. Have fun dancing!

SInce you have dark brown hair, why dont you put some white blond or red streaks in it. That would look pretty kewl because if you didnt like streaks you could always just dye your hair back the other color.

I've noticed my mom acting very quiet and different today. I think that shes feeling depressed. This isnt accually a thought, its obvious. I saw that she got books from the library about depression.
Anyways, Im feeling quilty myself because I feel that being the 'teenager' I havent put enough effort towards the house. I dont think thats its menopause because she's only 40. but I dontknow. Also my brother is having a baby, its not that hes too young. But maybe that its scaring her that shes going to become a grandma?

You shouldnt feel guilty at all because you did absolutely nothing. You should always help around the house, but you didnt do anything. Shes probably nervous about being Grandma and she might be stressed out from work or something. I suggest that you and your mom go spend some time together like getting your nails done or shopping, your something you both like. Just try to be there for your mom. :)

ok this is probably going to be long so I am really srry! ok I am in dance team and I really dont like the coaches, and basicly change every ruteen anyone makes. Anyway me and my friend made up and dance and today we had practice, also I didnt know that I had an eye appointment right after school so I gave the note that my mom wrote to my friend to give to the coaches. Well from wath i hear from my other fellow dance team members that they are ganna bitch at me tomorrow because they "didnt know" that I had an appointment and that the other girl didnt have the music to the ruteen. I also made 2 copies of the song incase someone didnt have theirs. Well...Today she didnt have her music and they are blaming it all on me!! is that right? and omg I just hate them!!! she had the music to and she didnt bring it! what does that give them the right to be able to bitch and me now? can someone help me plz!!! srry this was long

When i got my period, I started off with pads (Which is what mostly everyone does when they first get it). I suggest you keep using pads until you get your period 3 or 4 times. Also, when you first get your period, you might not get it again for another 4 months or so. Just be prepared and have pads on hand.

For the past 6 weeks of school, my best friend that I just met this year (let's callher Amy) has really been acting funny. I know it's because she started her period, but It seems odd that she's been so mean and nasty to everybody for the past 6 weeks in a row (usually your period doesn't last that long..). ALL of my other friends (C, A, A, C, and me) have noticed it too! She speaks for all of us when she tells people off.. telling them that we hate them, don't want to talk to them, and wish that they were dead. She tells me what I'm supposed to be and how I'm supposed to do it. She tells me all of this beauty stuffI'm supposed to do which works for her but I try it at her house and when I get home I get a bad, bad, bad allergic reaction to it (almond oil) and she KNOWS that I am dreadfully alergic to nuts. She always talks about how much her clothes cost and how she thinks that her way is always best. We try to talk to her and she still keeps doing all of these things. I've stood up for myself and my friends (all of us together) many, many times and she still won't stop being like this. What should I do?
Geez. SHe needs a reality check. Tell what she's doing and tell her if she doesnt stop acting this way your not going to be her friend anymore. Please rate my advice GREAT! Lol
